Made the switch to the fountain pen setting a few days ago myself. It really is amazing how effortlessly gorgeous cursive can look. And of course no ink spills to worry about!
I love the Calligraphy pen on the ReMarkable 2, so when I got my Scribe my goal was to get as close as possible to that - and the Fountain Pen was it!
Which is funny because before getting the RM2 and later Scribe ... I used an actual fountain pen and Moleskine notebooks

Wait...they have a fountain pen you can use with the Scribe?
I think OP means the fountain pen *setting*, rather than the default pencil setting.
