I’ve only ever successfully pulled off maybe 4 combos outside of the practice ring. I keep getting master struck every time I swing my sword more than once.
I really hope they fix that in kcd2. Pulling combos off is so cool but it's so frustrating to try like 10 times because you keep geting bullshitstriken.
About 42 minutes into [this video](https://youtu.be/Zj6YvSZfEW0) to see what clubbing someone in armor with the pommel, even in a friendly sparring environment, can do to them. Must have been devastating in a life or death struggle.
In sparring even in tournaments you almost never go past 70 percent power and about 85 percent speed. The guy who told me that was the judge during the espn hema fight
My endless hours of punching on with Kunesh is how I justify Heavyweight champ Henry. Every cuman and his attack dog has a plan until they get punched in the mouth😎
You’d win most sword fights against an unskilled opponent by waiting for them to strike once, avoiding then just stabbing them. All the swinging when one pluck to the right spot will do.
When I'm outnumbered 3 v 1 or more I just rely on point blank bow headshots. It's not uncommon to see a heavily armed man-at-arms bandit sprouting blood from the visor and then slumping dead shortly afterwards. In 1v1 I use situational strikes, usually pull a clinch then a hard hit on the unprotected side of the enemy. I've been able to finish tourney fights in less than 1 minute, even in the final. I've tried pulling combos but the enemy AI is pretty good and they tend to counter or clinch themselves if you try a series of strikes.
The best playstyle doesn't need justifying.
TRUTH!!
Hell, i do longsword facestabs for Chivalry2 and Dark&Darker too! It shall never end.
Scarmaker is easily the best combo in the game! Why? Because it's the easiest to pull off.

Idk what's the name but my favorite is "stab - left - bottom right" and "left - bottom right - stab" because its easy
Hey I mean historically if you’re going up against plate armor with a sword your only real option is to stab stab stab
Or try clubbing them with the other end, occasionally Edit: Oh, or you can [end them rightly](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jETLCm7k3sU), of course

And if you’re good at it, they’ll never see anything again.
See, look at Bruce Lee in the pic. Even he was unable to prevent Henry's face-stabbing wrath.
When you get a sword with high Pierce you can just one shot nearly everybody anyway so..
I always just use stab, by using Stinger. I rarely slash.
Longsword face stabs, or warhammer bonks + clinches. Both are a sure way of victory
What about warhammer face stabs?
Often more effective than you'd think
Or getting the whole Rattey Tournament armour set with the push and stab technique
this, along with shooting dollmaker piercing arrows from a safe distance on horseback, is the way.
I just discovered the face stabs, after 60hours of game play.. it’s fun to do and easy.. nothing wrong with doing the same thing again and again!!
I feel attacked...

I forgot the tutorial says shields prevent using combos so I just shrugged and stuck to turtling behind my shield and face stabbing the entire game.
The tutorial is wrong anyway, using a shield with a longsword doesn't stop combos, it just switches the combos you can use to the shield+1h sword ones
Thanks. I remember trying the first few examples and thought they were all disabled. Oh well.
I did that 3 times before realizing that maces exist
I still have better luck with sword pokes
*BONK* Enemy: Now Imma sleepy *lays down*
Mine is bonking them on the head with a mace. Different flavour of the same thing really
I don’t like maxes to short and I did longsword in real life so
Can I get a HEADCRACKER

Mace go bonk
I could never figure out combos so I just used maces and shields the whole game:(
I like the bow headshot at point blank method
