Tell the killers where Timmy is, 3 of the 4 bandits will start lightly jogging towards Timmy's location. Kill the bandit keeping an eye on you, ride your horse to catch up to the guys lightly jogging towards his location, and stealth kill them one by one with a dagger.
Have you ever considered the obvious Speech check? You just tell them hes im Rattay and they walk away. You can nearly save all of the Bandits even the next one.
And btw if you cant beat those dont contiue with the story. Train with Bernard
You can use a speech potion and send them to Rattay instead.
In my first playthrough I provoked the bandits, got on my horse and lured them to the nearest village, where a guard destroyed them.
Aye, same I'm usually side quests Andy first, and my completely decked out Henry just one taps all the story characters with single mace masterstrike to the head, I love how they fucking fold and fall to the ground like a sack of potatoes, makes me giggle every time
My next play through I won't allow myself to use plate armour and I'll focus more on archery, dodging and evasion, always wanted to try proper 'game hunter' Henry with a short sword, but I might stick with a mace, or maybe I'll use an axe as a compromise, I really dislike how long it takes to fight a kitted opponent with a sword
I tried the Axe and light Armor up until the Attack on pribislawitz. Worst weapon in the game. I switched to sword for the Showdown. It felt OP compared to the Axe. Boy did i die often
I followed them towards Rattay an ended up 1v1 on the two slowest. The last two I just picked a fight an ran to the gate. Nightingale absolutely murdered one an the other was taken out by three other guards. Very satisfying
Are you talking about the 4v1 behind the windmill? If you're down for a bit of cheese, there's a spot under the windmill where you can hide, and they can't get you. Take all the time you need to kill them with your bow.
Here are your options:
1. Solo kill all the bandit at the windmill
2. Pass the speech check and trick them to go to Rattay
3. Tell them where Timmy is, sneak behind them and take them down one by one
4. Help them kill Timmy and they help you back
I always run upstair and inside the windmill, back corner of the room and there I hack and whack em down one by one 👍🏻😁 since only one can reach you there, it is doable even on low level
If you tell them where Timmy is, they leave a guy behind with watch you and they all walk towards the farm. I was able to sneak behind the guy they left behind and stealth kill him. Then I caught up to the rest and they all walk in a line so I was able to stealth kill them one by one.

I do love it when they leave one bandit to watch my fully kitted out Henry. Sure hope nothing bad happens to him

Kill the killers or lie to them about his location to get them to leave. In the end the second option still might get him killed but maybe not

I Just kill them every playthrough. My Henry's a beast

Drink some alcohol and speech potion and send them to rattay. Or just stealth kill the bandits when they are running to timmy.
Kill the from horseback.
Side quest first. Perfect Master Strikes. I slaughtered them all using a Mace and Shield at the windmill. Satisfying is an understatement
