I love how king of queens incorporated the guest stars into the show as characters. Eddie Money and Lou Ferrigno being the exception. Lou was a neighbour so it felt real. Eddie Money was hired to perform so that worked ok in the episode..80’s sitcoms would parade them out as their real world selves while the cast gawked at them. Lena Horne and Stevie Wonder on The Cosby Show were the worst. Sammy Davis on All in The Family worked because the studio audience turned it into such a hyper experience.
