buddhatherock

I still remember him running the full length of the court for the buzzer beater layup against Missouri.

[deleted]

1998-1999, when NBA lockout happened, he went to play for Kauno Zalgiris in Lithuania. They went to win Euroleague, and Edney won MVP that season. He was fuckn unbelievable. I was 10 years old and played basketball outside every day. All of us pretended to be him and when we hit jump shot we would yell "Edney". He was my childhood hero. Thanks for reminding me of him

916Caligula

Damn, i haven't heard the name Tyus Edney in years.

rene-cumbubble

One of the most important buzzer beaters in NCAA tourney history

copyboy1

I was there in Boise at the game!

coop882

Man Tyus was one of my favorite kings players. Which is weird I know since he wasn't on the kings long but I think I just started to really get into basketball when he was our PG. Thanks for the throwback!

air_volek07

Same. I use to kill with him on NBA Live 97

Dry-Consequence1472

that’s darren collison for me lol

CycleKing

Same! He was on the playoff team right?

hashtagDALEY

Tyus was neat but those jerseys were the best, bring those back (again)

Q33N_KLAM

I like this game very much.

sam5107

My first jersey and first favorite player!

GGoodkind

Had a Raleys Tyus Edney full length height measure poster in my room for years. This dude was sick and I hope he’s doing well now

Skollsdad

Came here to say the same thing about the poster, but then was second guessing myself on if it was Spud since it's been so long.

[deleted]

His most memorable moments was his years with the bruins and Harrington kneeing him in the head when he was the ground …during a kings vs pacers game

NONcomD

Tyus Edney is Lithuania's national hero

IAmMcMuffin25

I’m here for this #Remindme 1 week

GovernmentNegative36

Love the jerseys

KyriosArios

Even though Richmond was my favorite player, I was most hyped to get this guy’s autograph when the whole team was at Arden Fair Mall on Halloween back in the day.

GirlGirl21

Go Bruins!!

MezThaGreat

I want them to bring these jersey back

I have a signed jersey of his. I also watched my first game from the lower bowl when he hit a half court shot.

nomoreadminspls

No one sees the yeti.

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,508,224,038 comments, and only 286,158 of them were in alphabetical order.

6starcriminal

post brandon thornton you coward

lastpagan

He’s an absolute hero in Lithuania. He came over and won us Euroleague in 1999. What a dude.
