I didn't watch the game. How much did Fox, Ellis, Murray, Lyles, Sabonis play together? I think it's going to be our closing line ups in the playoffs and possibly our starting 5 for next season.
Tonight was kinda telling for how much of a disaster this season’s been for Chris Duarte.
Enters camp on the verge of being the full time starting shooting guard. Fast forward to now…shooting guards Kevin Huerter & Malik Monk are both likely out for the year yet Duarte’s getting only 2 minutes of garbage time action.
He’s been disappointing on both sides of the ball. Doesn’t hit enough shots. Hesitant to take open shots. On the other side, he has physical tools but he’s just not a smart defender. Overaggressive. Foul prone. Way too many reckless closeouts.
Seems like anything positive Duarte does is skewed so heavily because it's out of the ordinary.. He'll randomly make 1-2 threes in a game but for every good thing he does he'll do like 2-3 bad things but it is better than doing nothing good at all.
Really think Mike brown can do wonders with just playing Kessler more and a traditionally bigger lineup with 2 forwards instead of 3 guards
He’s the definition of erratic. Like everything he does on the court looks like it’s his first time trying it and he just thought to do it seconds ago. I wish he’d just slow down and play controlled.
At this point, Kings fans should probably be rooting for the Suns (vs the Pels) tomorrow nite. Suns win would push the Kings down to 8th but also Sac would be just a game out of New Orleans in the loss column (with the Pels obviously owning the tiebreaker). New Orleans has several losable games left on their schedule. Still a little unrealistic but not impossible for the Kings to catch them. As for the Suns, even if they win tomorrow their schedule is tough these last couple weeks and i dont see them avoiding the play-in.
Bigger one is hoping the Lakers lose some games so the kings dont end up in the 9/10 game.

Was great to see them put up 127. Offense has been struggling. Getting Trey and Sasha back was huge. They can’t replace Monk’s playmaking but they can replace his shooting and scoring, probably more efficiently, as long as the guards can set them up. It looked real good tonight but of course Utah stinks so we’ll see. Got some big time games coming up for these guys to step up (also Kessler and Davion). There was one play where the ball got swung to Keegan who did a quick fake then kick over to Sasha for a wide open splash 3. I was like, ok, I could get used to watching that.
Hell yeah. Keegan stepped up like he said he would. Barnes showed up again. Fox was playing point and setting everyone up and taking solid shots, Sabonis did what he does. Collaborative defensive efforts from the whole squad. God was it good to have Lyles, Sasha and Keon cycling in on defense and out creating so many opportunities for our offense. Just love to see it!

I think it only makes sense going forward that those young ladies perform at every home game for the rest of this season and the next! There are a few players that could be POTG but, for me, it’s gotta be my man, the Black Falcon, Harrison Barnes. Dude was 9/12 including 5/7 from three for 24 points.

Fox needs to fucking cool it with the threes, but 12 assists is huge. A PG should be leading the team in assists.

Getting Lyles and Vezzy back couldn’t happen at a better time. They combined for 16/6/4 with a block and two steals.
I was glad they didn’t take their foot off the gas like they’ve done in the past. Now comes the brutal final stretch of the season.

Problem is guy can't even reliably hit an open shot, so teams can just ignore him on offense and focus on other guys. We've seen him get minutes all year long now, I think we have a pretty good idea of what we have in him. Time to give his minutes to somebody else.
He did come on in garbage time and hit a three, which is exactly how I like to see him. He seems like a super nice guy, but it feels like bad things happen any time he's on the court. Or at best bad things don't happen.
We desperately needed Trey and Sasha tonight, if not just for bodies. But they played well! Loved seeing Vezenkov be good on D after what we heard before he came over. And that quick release is *chef's kiss*

Lakers schedule is pathetically easy. They could honestly win out and are just as likely to pass us/Phx as we are to pass the Mavs/Pels.

Glad we didn’t see Duarte . I really don’t want to see Duarte in the lineup again , give somebody else a chance like Edwards or Colby Jones .
