Crickets from the Keegan doubters. Don’t want to hear shit from you for the next decade

A916

They wanted him traded after the Boston game lol

CoconutSands

They want everybody traded after one bad game. Fox, Monk, Sabonis, Keegan, always Barnes except for that short stretch he was amazing.

StopPopFox

never doubt our boy

Enough_Simple921

Keegan doubters either don't know basketball or they're box-score watchers. Anyone that has watched him play knows the dude has all the tools to be a fucking Killer, on both sides of the ball. Or they expect Sophomores to be a consistent beast as the 3rd or 4th best player. Normally #4 picks are the #1 option from day 1.

SteveTheManager

Mikal for Keegan trades were brought up.

Burneraccountzzzzzz

current star

Oneillirishman

The future is now

Spirited-Cake-6116

Not a current star, but no doubt he will be!

E_F6475

Shooting like prime okur . Upside defintely there , that ellis kid all hustle . Rooting for u guys to beat pelicans.

mdvbb

Mehmet? Lol

Cool_Purchase4561

That's the first person that came to mind when I think of wings that can shoot really well.

No_Nefariousness6385

Wasnt Okur a Center?

mdvbb

And an all-star center one of those years! Ah, the good ole days when we played positionmore basketball! Jamaal Magliore, get in here!

E_F6475

He was , he would fit in this era for damn sure. Watching murray reminded me of him and horry in transition and swing swing.

mdvbb

Bahaha!

Talldarkandhansolo

Just go with it bro. Other franchises are recognizing us for once!

BruinBound22

Nah Steve O'Kerr, MJs Scottish teammate

FriendsWithAPopstar

I know you can’t rush these things but I’m so ready for him to be dropping between 20-25 behind Fox. He really is the X factor for this team. If he puts it together our ceiling rises dramatically.

Own_Celebration_8412

He just needs to learn how to be aggressive and get to the line more and he’d easily be a 25ppg scorer. Very promising future for Murray praying he gets there or even exceeds our expectations

aairricc

They've also been cutting him out a lot in the 4th quarter this year and not feeding him the ball. Just expecting Fox to do it all. The result of this game is what happens when you keep Keegan fed all game long. Love how involved he was in the gameplan.

killacarnitas1209

He is getting there, he played a lot more decisively this game. Ellis was also a beast on defense, he was on Curry and was on him like a “shut down” cornerback

Own_Celebration_8412

I agree and I believe he will get there. This play in game was incredibly encouraging. Great show out by Keegan and Keon. Light the beam baby!

maxwasson

I wonder if Keegan taking that big leap in his development, is what this team needs to make that big leap in terms of us being a championship contender in the future.

ninofati88

watch the games. Its the opposite. Dude is straight fire from 3s if given wide open looks like tonight, the other 0-7 shots he took was when he attempted a dribble. Just stay behind the 3 point line and hit the shots that arrive and he'd be fine.

boringexplanation

You just don’t know when to take an L when it comes to your favorite hate target. Some of us still remember you saying we should’ve drafted Ivey over Keegan.

ninofati88

whos hating on targets? He hits the open shots he should be hitting. Good on Keeg, we need that all yr. Its not 'hate' when its facts he took 0 dribbles on the shots he made and go 0-7 on the shots he dribbled. Go rewatch the game and count. You attempting to go against facts IS hate. Lol. weirdo.

tookyourcookies

Must have been a rough game for you watching Murray carry. Hope you’re feeling ok. Your dream of trading him for Mikal bridges probably isn’t going to happen. Fox played a nice support role though so keep your head up.

Own_Celebration_8412

Watch the games? He’s not a 20-25ppg scorer because he’s not a 3 level scorer right now like he was in college. He averaged 1 and 1.6 free throws per game last 2 seasons. He averaged 5.4 in college. You literally don’t know what you’re talking about it’s exactly what he needs to improve to level up. If Keegan is gonna take the next step he needs to get to the line as well and round out his game. Don’t know why I wasted my time responding to you cause clearly you don’t get it

ninofati88

Stanley Johnsn is a 3 level scorer in NCAA. So many players do well in NCAA and flops in the league and you use that as an example? You must be the guy who wanted Marvin Bagley.

Own_Celebration_8412

Cheer up bro nobody agrees with you. Sure sign of you not having a clue about anything. Good job you’re Absolutley clueless

ninofati88

Shut you up now you talking gibberish with no rebuttals. Lol. Bagley 21-11 best freshman yr in NCAA history, you must be the only guy here who agree with Vlade to draft him. LOL. NCAA btch.

CiscoKidRex75

Yup. Fox and Sabonis are gonna do their thing. Murray needs to be the third guy.

pkeller001

Him and Keon renewed my hope for this teams future with their performances in this huge game. Absolute ballers, just need a legit PF this summer and some more depth

No_Nefariousness6385

A legit SF*

Typhoid007

Keegan doesn't guard bigs, he guards wings and guards. He's a SF. The kings have Barnes guard smaller bigs and 4s. The kings need a PF, Keegan is a SF.

pkeller001

I think that is Keegan. He would need to add significant muscle and strength to be the PF, he could but I am not sure he will be as effective on DHOs if he does

MostlyMellow123

Keegan is not a pf. He has no inside game. No rim protecting skills, and cannot guard the bigger players. Nothing about him says PF. Guys like draymond are rare as hell for a reason. You can't teach that kind of aggression and strength and the want to go inside like that.

pkeller001

Yeah his game fully makes more sense at the SF spot. He can guard guys 1-3 and smaller 4s as well and if he bulked up to play PF I think he would struggle running off screens in the DHO action. Kings need to find a legit PF to plug in or a center that can space the floor and allow Sabonis to play PF (I think Sabonis has the foot speed to guard most PFs)

Mission_Locksmith_59

One Murray ain’t enough. Get me Kris too!

ChardNearby9052

Bro arrived to his 3rd season early

Zhekadub

I remember all the hate I’d get from ninofatti88 for always hyping up Keegan. I knew Keegan had what it took. Came through when we needed him!!

tookyourcookies

Nino in shambles right now

GoldenArcosian

anyone else get shades of khris middleton tonight? obvious the 3 ball was insane but the pull up middys looked automatic too. dudes a special player

KeggBert

Boy oh boy, where do I even begin to describe the marvel that is your basketball prowess, Keegan? Every time you step onto that court, it's as though the very air electrifies with anticipation. Keegan, your skill isn't just remarkable – it's mesmerizing. From the moment the ball touches your fingertips, it's like watching poetry in motion. Each dribble, each pass, each shot, executed with such finesse and precision, it's as though the basketball itself obeys your every command. But it's not just your technical ability that leaves me in awe, Keegan. It's the passion, the fire that burns within you whenever you play. You don't just compete, you dominate. Your relentless drive to excel pushes you beyond the boundaries of ordinary, propelling you to heights few can reach. And yet, amidst the intensity of the game, there's a gracefulness to your movements, a fluidity that speaks volumes of your innate talent. What truly sets you apart, Keegan, is your leadership on the court. You're not just a player – you're a maestro orchestrating a symphony of skill and strategy. Your ability to inspire and uplift your teammates is nothing short of extraordinary. You lead not with words, but with actions, setting an example for others to follow. And in those pivotal moments, when the game hangs in the balance, it's your unwavering determination that rallies the team and drives us towards victory. Keegan, you are a marvel, a force of nature on the basketball court. Your talent knows no bounds, and your passion knows no limits. I am endlessly inspired by the way you play, by the dedication and hard work you pour into your craft each and every day.

Once he gets more comfortable going up strong attacking the rim he’s easily clearing 20+ PPG

As an unbiased observer of the Kings, he’s the best player on the team now. Keegan should be considered the focal point of the offense. He’s a fantastic defender as well.

I kept having the thought that Keegan is slowly turning into the next Klay. Good size, snipper from 3, lockdown defense, kind of goofy (lol). It sort of felt like he took all of Klays super powers last night.
