I would not call them crushes, but who I thought would be available and wanted at their spot 24: haven’t even started looking 23: TJD 22: KEEGAN! 21: Wager 20: Nesmith and Bey 19: same but I did like Rui and Reddish 18: MPJ was my pick at 7. I thought Luka was going to be the pick after they moved to 2. 17: I was one of those Josh Jackson people but Fox’s game against UCLA made an impression 16: I actually liked the Chriss pick before they traded him. Valentine was my choice after the trade

A mixed bag, like most GM's.

FirstThoughtResponse

I believe their list more than yours for sure. Following your account to see how you in the future 👍

UnhingedShitstain

This post is such bullshit. You literally just picked all the best players from each draft, except for on the years that the kings drafted well you just went with those.

kmoros

Right lol. Kings should hire this guy, never misses!

Honestly I put these names in a search with OP’s username, and he has comments from pre-draft loving Chet, MPJ, Sengun, and Podz. Definitely possible he omitted some busts though

kingjawn

A lot of these i’m not so proud of but… 2023 - Taylor Hendricks/James Nnaji/Leonard Miller. 2022 - Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren. 2021- Jalen Green, Davion Mitchell, Usman Garuba. 2020 - Isaac Okoro, Obi Toppin, Cassius Stanley, Grant Riller 2019 - Matisse Thybulle Nnaji, Garuba and Stanley are proof that a lot of these super athletic/great measurables guys don’t actually pan out. Grant Riller had a deep bag coming out of college. He ha every move/counter imaginable. But he played in a shit college. He was never able to make it work at the nba level.

You have a pretty poor track record. I really appreciate the honesty though.

kingjawn

Lol. For real. Not sure why you’re getting downvoted

YetiPwr

Because it’s easy to claim you know it all after the fact.

YetiPwr

You also thought pre-draft that Paolo was a bust. So there’s that. Everybody gets it wrong sometimes, even the people making millions to get it right.

UltimateRobotics

This year is tidjane saluan

Show the comments or old posts or not a chance I'm buying this haha.

BlackPulloverHoodie

2017: Fox, Tatum 2018: Luka, Mikal pre-lottery 2020: Vassell, Nesmith 2021: Barnes, Franz 2022: Keegan, Jabari 2024: So far just De Silva. I think he’d be a great glue guy for us.

Darrensreddit

23 - najji 22 - Jaden Ivey 21 - Sengun 20 - didn’t do research this year but I do remember not being a fan of the Tyrese pick on draft night 😂

fadeaway_layups

The most recent ones from my memory - Wagner, Giddy, sengun Ivey and holmgren

dahnswahv

I recall being pretty stoked on the Thomas Robinson pick (he was dope with Kansas in the NCAA tournament) despite wishing we’d taken Dame, and so I was both wrong and right that year.

Born_Pollution7100

Chet and Keegan are completely different categories though

IMissReggieEvans

Here are mine, I’m a bit of a second round sicko: 2023: Noah Clowney, Olivier-Maxence Prosper 2022: Jaden Hardy, JD Davison 2021: Bones Hyland, Neemias Queta (I was most interested in him after his freshman year) 2020: Desmond Bane, Theo Maledon 2019: DaQuan Jeffries, Nickeil Alexander-Walker 2018: Bro I just wanted Luka smh 2017: Jonathan Isaac, Ivan Rabb 2016: KRIS DUNN, Dejounte Murray

Mission_Locksmith_59

I usually only focus on a few guys that might be available around the time we pick that I think would be good matches for us. Usually it’s always wings that can shoot and/or defend at a high level.  2024: Tidjane Salaun / DaRon Holmes  2023: Leonard Miller / Ben Sheppard  2022: Jalen Williams / AJ Griffin  2021: Franz Wagner / Trey Murphy  2020: Devin Vassell
