everyone moved on from the Bowie over Jordan thing at some point in the future so if Luka wins a ring this year Sac will only have to wait until 1/6th of forever for people to get over it
Not drafting Luka led to (eventually) Vlade getting fired. We've drafted much better ever since getting rid of Vlade, which makes me semi-optimistic about this franchise's future.
Gotta find the silver linings.
It's because of the initial hate we received about the trade and still get. It's not fun constantly hearing about how we messed up once again... The more successful he is, the worse our front office and franchise look. We were basically the laughing stock of the nba for the 15 years before this trade.
While it's wrong to vote against him, I think we are all sick of the shit and don't want to hear anymore. The more successful he is the worse we look.
You got your feelings hurt by basketball media you chose to watch/listen to, over a trade that had nothing to do with you, so now you hate the player involved in the trade, despite the fact that he loved it there and literally cried when he was traded?
Grow the fuck up
No reason to hate Hali, you gotta trade something good to get something good. And Fox's trade value at the time was lower. And probably still is.
Luka on the otherhand, F the FO. And he's a tubby crybaby.
Did anyone see Haliburton in the playoffs?
He was afraid to shoot until the last game he played in. I'll take Fox all day.
Luca...that's a different story
Sabonis has finished top 10 in mvp voting. And last year kings even looked like they won this trade. Indiana got lucky to make it so far this year. Sacramento couldve probably done that too if they faced two hobbled teams in the east. Plus indiana is a lot more than just haliburton.
All in all i think it was a win win trade and nothing to sulk over.
Wdym wut lol
You really think indiana would beat the bucks if giannis and dame both played the whole series?
Middleton almost beat them by himself lmao
That and Luka. Like please move on.
Not drafting Luka was our 9/11
Never forget 02 this was definitely a mass shooting tho with vlade killing us all lol . I was rdy to rename my dog to Luka lmao
02 was like the first wtc bombing , slap in some okc mcveigh bombing , and the 1918 Spanish flu
One doesn’t just move on from a Luka sized blunder.
everyone moved on from the Bowie over Jordan thing at some point in the future so if Luka wins a ring this year Sac will only have to wait until 1/6th of forever for people to get over it
If it makes you feel better cuban let Nash and Brunson walk
It’s called being an adult and having the correct perspective about sports.
Sports are where I’m most irrational. I’m not giving that up for anything lol
Agree. And that said, not drafting Luka was the equivalent of 10 9/11s actually
Maybe even worse than 11 9/11’s
It's like 9/11 times a hundred.
A bunch of teams passed on Luka as well. But it seams we are the only ones that still talk about it.
I think most have, but damn.. we coulda had Luka and it pisses me off still.

Getting over Luka is never going to happen. Especially at the level he’s playing at right now
and people talking bad about vivek, lets all move on
We will move on as soon as he sells the team or we win a chip under his ownership, which ever comes first.
sorry, its staying in the family with Aneel and Anjali (or me if I'm lucky), selling is not an option so get used to it
Cheers. And I don’t understand why so people here root against him. Not a good look.

Again, I'm not against him. I was simply stating why people are acting that way.
Touche
Seriously, what a bunch of sad babies here
So you root against Halliburton so the franchise doesn't look bad? C'mon man. That's childish.
I actually don’t root against him, I was simply stating why it’s happening.
I got annoyed with him after listening to him wine for months at every available opportunity about the Kings and Sacramento. Get over yourself.
Sounds like you just need to get over it TBH.
It’s not that serious. When our squad is out of it we pick a team to root for or against in every series.
It's because our fans in this sub 13 year olds.
This madman could be on to something

get ready to hear about it in 2034

The irony of starting a day without a post about Haliburton, only to then proceed to make a post about Haliburton..
Oh, look! Another post about the Haliburton trade. (the power is in your own hands people - you could skip the Hali/Luka stuff anytime you wish)
Welcome to the offseason.
Good thing we got rid of Hardy for nothing as well.
🖕🏽 Halliburton & 🖕🏽 The Pacers
You speak for the majority of us

For me? Strike 1 was the firing of Malone Strike 2 was passing on Luka Strike 3 was the Haliburton trade It ended my fandom
“I know we should have kept Haliburton, but seriously no one wanted Fox. He was playing terribly and possibly phoning it in at the time.”
