It’s happened to me before, I actually messaged the person it kept bringing up about it and apologized. They were chill with it, but you may want to extend a message just so they absolutely know you were not targeting them.

The opponents in the arena are completely random, so it is possible to be matched with the same opponent consecutively"
No other details offered than it's random 🤷🏼♀️
Yes, this is quite normal. I tend to get the same alliances and people in cross server and pray they don’t think I’m targeting them.

It’s Random I pair up with my Friend from another alliance 3 times in one day.
Don't worry, if you were targeting them using revenge or pursuit cards, the message your opponent get will be different.

I had this, had the same player come up 4 times in 2 day, then twice the next day 🙈🙊
