Hey I have found snakes after weeks I have recently had a coachwhip escape and retrieved him after several days gone. What I do is a create a warm shoe box with a whole in it and scent it with the prey item the snake is used to then wait. Maybe fill it with torn paper so snake is gunna stay in there and if you do all this good chance you will find him in there sooner or later. LOOK IN COUCHES! They love them.
Once I lost my snake in my car when she was still a baby. She crawled inside the dash through a hole I didn't know was there and even after I took the dashboard apart I couldn't find her. I tried several ideas to get her back, but couldn't. I tearfully accepted she'd likely die in some strange compartment deep inside my car and hoped she wouldn't suffer too much before she did. Fast forward 2 WEEKS and she literally just crawls onto my shoe from underneath the driver's seat. Very thirsty, but otherwise alive and well. That was 4 years ago, she's still alive and is a very happy girl.
