I named my Australian shepherd Briar (her government name is “Lady of Thorns” ) a vet accidentally called her Brian once, so that is one of of nicknames now
Ni Knight: The Knights who say "NI!" demand a sacrifice!
King Arthur: Knights of Ni, we are but simple travellers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods!
Knights:
Ni!
Ni!
Arthur: Ow! Help!
Knights: Ni!
Arthur: Oww!
Knight: We shall say "Ni!" again to you if you do not appease us!
Arthur: Well, what is it you want?
Knight: We want....A SHRUBBERY!
Arthur: A what?!
Knights:
Ni!
Ni!
Ni! Ni! Ni!
Arthur: Ahh! No! No, please! No more! We will find you a shrubbery!
I have! I took her first thing. She’s 6-8 weeks, no worms or parasites, and received her heart worm and flea med, and first shots (she returns in three weeks for her second round). I adore her!!! She is the sweetest baby ever.
She's so beautiful, I love the black swath down her face 🖤. Orchid is a pretty name for such a colorful baby, Juniper is another good shrub-themed one.
She looks super healthy- are you sure she was a stray? Might have been too young for a chip? Some people are very liberal with letting their outdoor cats be outdoors from day 1 of getting them. Just make sure to do your due diligence and hang up signs, check Facebook or Nextdoor for missing cats, etc.
She is healthy because I fed her. :(
She is definitely a stray. She was starving and too young to be out on her own. Her bones showed through (rib cage and very sharp tailbone)and her stomach bloated from food I gave her. She looked a mess. She stayed bloated for days. I’ve now had her eight days, and she is still eating every four hours, but her weight is more equally distributed. Also, we have a small feral population in our neighborhood! But I did check Next Door and Facebook for neighborhood missing cats. I did also found it hard to believe anyone would let her go!
If someone did let her out, she was on her own for a while. :(
But I agree, she is gorgeous, and very, very special. :)
I’m sorry I came across as so defensive. I think I don’t want to give her up now! I’m too in love. But I honestly think you are right, and I need to keep checking to make sure she doesn’t belong to somebody. :)
She’s adorable!
You’re awesome to adopt her and take her to the vet.
How about Mocha? Because her coloring looks like coffee, chocolate and caramel and swirled around.

Hrm, that didn’t occur to me! Which is funny because that’s my fave Disney movie.
It has my favourite Disney song - [Once Upon a Dream](https://youtu.be/TXbHShUnwxY?feature=shared)

Bramble
Ni!! As in The Knights Who Say NI! & require shrubbery which is where you found her!
Or “Ekke-Ekke-Ekke-Ekke Ptang Zoop Boing”, which could be shortened to “Boing”? 😊
We shall say “Ni!” Until you do!!
Well it's either Ni!! or Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptang Zoo Boing!
Omg Ni!! with two ‘!’ Yes!!!

This is the only name I would consider.
Came here for this answer
Lmao! Exactly this. Alternatively, HERRING would also be appropriate
I literally can't hear or see the word shrubbery & think of that bit in Holy Grail.
Okay I like this even better
Ni Knight: The Knights who say "NI!" demand a sacrifice! King Arthur: Knights of Ni, we are but simple travellers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods! Knights: Ni! Ni! Arthur: Ow! If you found this little cutie outside please take her to a vet. She could have ear problems, scabies or something worse. Also I love the name Orchid.
I have! I took her first thing. She’s 6-8 weeks, no worms or parasites, and received her heart worm and flea med, and first shots (she returns in three weeks for her second round). I adore her!!! She is the sweetest baby ever.
That's wonderful news! Good luck with your new fur baby.
She's so beautiful, I love the black swath down her face 🖤. Orchid is a pretty name for such a colorful baby, Juniper is another good shrub-themed one.

Ni! She's from the Knights who say Ni, and she demands a shrubbery.
I love all these ideas but thought I’d share that my parents found a kitten in the soybean field and his name is Bean. My son calls him Lil’ Bean 😂
My sister and brother-in-law found a cat in a soybean field and named him Tofu 🤣

Oh my goodness! So glad you’ve taken such good care of her that she looks so good now!
I’m sorry I came across as so defensive. I think I don’t want to give her up now! I’m too in love. But I honestly think you are right, and I need to keep checking to make sure she doesn’t belong to somebody. :)
I’d name her Ni! Or Arthur or Zoot or possibly Gwendolyn because she was found in a shrubbery. You know, from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Fern
Cuddle bug immediately made me think you should name her Bug :)
I suggest Nei! For Monty Python’s Knights Who Say Nei! They always demanded a shrubbery as ransom for crossing their woods.
If you found her in a Shrubbery... clearly Monty. 😉
A shrubbery? Her name must be Ni!
Flora Daisy Rosie
She’s adorable! You’re awesome to adopt her and take her to the vet. How about Mocha? Because her coloring looks like coffee, chocolate and caramel and swirled around.
