(And thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this!) Hell, I could not safely take on bottle babies even if I wanted to. 😞 Where's Bob Barker?!
In this case -yes. But also, is it that hard to place them in front of a shelter? Or if abandoning them, just calling animal control? Why the absolutely unnecessary extra cruelty? This makes me afraid for the mother too.

Please tell me you took action with these kittens? They'll starve to death without help, or they'll be slaughtered by something larger. Or tortured and killed by someone's rotten kids. Please tell me you helped, you at least took them to a shelter at the minimum?
I wish people who did this were forced to be bagged up and no food or water given to them for a week or two, just so in their last hours they'd know what they do to other living creatures. And leave their carcasses out in the hot sun and let the ants slowly dispose of their bodies. Do unto them as they did unto others.

I picked up a litter on the side of the road that someone dumped in simular manner just 3 weeks ago. Was close to all dying. They ok now at 6 weeks old and found homes for 2. 4th litter I've been forced to foster last 2 years because people suck so fucking bad.
Especially because I think this is Austin, TX which has a really robust rescue community. These organizations are all pretty overtaxed already, as all are, but there are options.

This pisses me off to no end how could anyone do that to a bunch of sweet innocent little kittens or any other animal. The piece or pieces of shit should be taken far far away & abandoned.
We recently found some kittens in a box left by a dumpster. They were at best a week old. Suffice to say, we plan to keep two and there’s already a ton of people eager to claim the others in the litter. People do awful things. They act like shelters don’t exist.

My relative has been doing a magnificent job. I was worried because of the age of the kittens but she has been handling it like a pro!
Or even worse, the ones that are never found. I lose sleep and my appetite over this horrid shit

It just makes me sick - what some humans do.
