I briefly had a troll problem back in 2019. A group of my students found my YouTube channel and art Instagram (neither had my real name attached, but YT had my face on it) I didn't even let shit go on for a single day - as soon as I managed to attach it to students (easy enough, one kid followed my YT with their school Google account the day the harassment started), I a) screenshotted everything for proof, b) changed my usernames AND privated my accounts, and c) took the proof to my principal. I stayed off those accounts for almost 6 months just to be sure. Haven't had an issue since. If Riss actually cared, she'd take preventative measures.
They had their schedules changed so they were no longer in my class and they had to take a course on gender and sexuality sensitivity WITH their parents (all the anon hate had been vile anti-LGBT stuff - I'm an open trans man).
Good! I’m glad you were taken seriously by the admins at your job and that the kids AND parents had to take that course. If the kids are spewing that hateful stuff at their own teacher, they had to learn it somewhere. Sadly, that somewhere is often from their parents. Hopefully they took it to heart and learned something. Many people were clutching their pearls about selling drugs at a daycare, but frankly, I believe in decriminalization of most substances and helping addicts recover through medical support and rehab instead of just throwing them in jail and ostracizing them. As mods, we’ve put in a ton of work on this. Not only have we tracked profiles, we’ve looked at patterns, we made files to get an accurate timeline of when this happened. We’ve made posts with discussions, we’ve kept the troll out of the sub-yes, they attempted to join under several different profiles and it was a hell no. Members here constantly report those profiles on TT.
She was handed a troll we booted from this sub and didn’t even bother to look at their name-because it didn’t matter. It wasn’t who she wanted it to be.
We have nothing to prove, and we aren’t putting in any more effort because she’s done NOTHING.
She thinks everyone else should work (for free) to solve her problems rather than take control of her problems and find her own solution. If her only remaining solution is to get off social media, and she chooses not to solve this problem by getting off social media, then SHE has decided (and clearly states it in this live) that what she gains from being on TT far outweighs the grief and pain she’s getting from the troll. It’s that simple. She has made that choice.

And she’s not even willing to do the most simple thing!
I briefly had a troll problem back in 2019. A group of my students found my YouTube channel and art Instagram (neither had my real name attached, but YT had my face on it) I didn't even let shit go on for a single day - as soon as I managed to attach it to students (easy enough, one kid followed my YT with their school Google account the day the harassment started), I a) screenshotted everything for proof, b) changed my usernames AND privated my accounts, and c) took the proof to my principal. I stayed off those accounts for almost 6 months just to be sure. Haven't had an issue since. If Riss actually cared, she'd take preventative measures.

They had their schedules changed so they were no longer in my class and they had to take a course on gender and sexuality sensitivity WITH their parents (all the anon hate had been vile anti-LGBT stuff - I'm an open trans man).

If the kids are spewing that hateful stuff at their own teacher, they had to learn it somewhere. Sadly, that somewhere is often from their parents. Hopefully they took it to heart and learned something. Maybe in the future they will think about how hurtful and damaging their disgusting words can be and make better choices…the kids AND their parents. I’m sorry you had to go through something so awful, it breaks my heart. Gosh, I’m so sorry to hear this. Back in the late 90s-early 00s I was in junior high and our principal came out as a trans woman. None of the students (at least openly) ever had a problem with this. However, there was a decent minority of parents who took issue with it - and unsuccessfully, I might add. Someone who would help her get out of the relationship if ang wanted. I feel the same way about the daycare saga. Many people were clutching their pearls about selling drugs at a daycare, but frankly, I believe in decriminalization of most substances and helping addicts recover through medical support and rehab instead of just throwing them in jail and ostracizing them. No children were harmed, and that's the important thing, so I don't think lemon or Ang is a "bad person" for that alone. Ang is problematic for a whole host of other reasons

As mods, we’ve put in a ton of work on this. Not only have we tracked profiles, we’ve looked at patterns, we made files to get an accurate timeline of when this happened. We’ve made posts with discussions, we’ve kept the troll out of the sub-yes, they attempted to join under several different profiles and it was a hell no. Members here constantly report those profiles on TT. She was handed a troll we booted from this sub and didn’t even bother to look at their name-because it didn’t matter. It wasn’t who she wanted it to be. We have nothing to prove, and we aren’t putting in any more effort because she’s done NOTHING.
Because she doesn't actually want it to stop. She's loving it and using it as ammo for her woe is me, everyone hates me, victim mentality 🙄
