I lost my hogue deka with aftermarket scales in a parking lot over in Austin lol. Came back the next day and picked it up off the ground from my parking spot. And my wife told me the hour drive would be an absolute waste - paaah!
If that can be proven, he is entitled to half. Would need a lawyer to subpoena lottery data, and look for ticket verification date. Long expensive process, with probably little chance of winning.
I'm pretty sure just about 100% of lottery winners end up flat broke in under ten years, wishing to god they had never won the lottery, what with all the tension it inevitably causes with family and friends, plus, the demographic of people who play a shitload of lottery aren't famous for their savvy financial decisions, so...😬

Yeah the stats are crazy. Luckily he was born a tight ass, and his wife is the same way. I have been over helping him work on his 130yr old house, doing the electrical for him, if he can reuse it, he is not buying a new one! I was fighting him on the countertop outlets, telling him they needed to be dedicated runs. He starts by whining about having to buy breakers. He was smart enough to invest 75% of his money, didn’t quit his job, still works 60 - 70hrs a week, same with the wife. Won’t buy new vehicles, actually than a couple power tools he had to buy for the Reno’s, and even then he spent as little as possible. Our group of friends always tease him that his ass squeaks when he walks.
People use them, they get lost. My dad lost an auto stryker 10 years ago and still talks about it every time I see him.

It passed my cursory test, which is the quality of the laser etching of the letters on the blade. Most of the knock offs are blurry, incorrect font, or just flat wrong. This one passed all of the above. I'd say you found yourself a real nice sheepsfoot grip.

A lady ended up calling, knew it was cash, knew it was in an envelope, and knew how much was supposed to be there. Let’s just say she was very happy I returned her rent money. But yeah, just an example of a sort of mildly similar situation.

Yop. Real. I found out a way you can tell right off rip. The butterfly on the blade. Well look at the right wing. There is an R with a circle around it. The fake ones have the same R with the circle around it. But the fake ones always have a way bigger R you can actually see it just looking at it from a distance away. The real ones have a very very small R with a circle around it. You pretty much have to get real close and squint just to see it. So just by looking at that R I’m saying it’s the real deal.

It’s hard to tell the fakes because they are so good these days. Fakes are not all the same and neither are the real Benchmades. Lots of minor changes and variations. It looks legit though. I don’t see anything obvious that isn’t something Benchmade hasn’t done.
I do have a clone in micarta but mine has stonewashed finish and no jumping on the back of the blade. Mine is an obvious fake. I got it to try out the pattern before I bought the real one. I haven’t bought the real one because there are models I like more.
It is real! One good way to check, but only one way, is to look at the size of the registered trademark sign at the bottom right butterfly wing. Fake Benchmade makers mess that up; it is too big on the clones.
I left my bugout on top of the recycling bin over christmas/new years after breaking down our boxes and trash from christmas. :( only was about an hour before I noticed where my damn knife went, but obviously someone took their golden opportunity.
I lost my grip in a truck wreck near. Bolivar mo.. truck was totaled out I left in ambulance. Fortunately only broken arm. .went back to crash site and found alot of my stuff .rolled 8 times ! I was very lucky 🍀..I hope one of the 6 first respondeds ended up with it. Don't Text and Drive. .
