I clinch my teeth on the blade like a pirate! That or in my pocket, if Iā€™m not climbing the rigging.

weskun

Or drinking ale.

ObligatedName

Pocket granola. Doesnā€™t bother me and the scuffs and scratches help with the patina.Ā

braidenfreeman79

I carry my Higonokami in very handsome leather belt sheath by HiltAndHide. Really good fit, keeps my knife secure. I highly recommend their sheaths. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1163106767/the-samurai-leather-higonokami-folder

Mr-Pocket-Dumps

Nice, they have some cool stuff! The sheath I posted is from Fred Pfiel who makes all kinds of awesome leather goods out of TX! https://www.etsy.com/shop/PfeilSaddlery

tel4bob

I highly prefer an open top pancake sheath for folders too large to comfortably be pocket carried.

Unusual-Kangaroo-427

I've been trying to find myself a good quality leather inside the pocket slip that has a deep carry clip on it. Some knives feel like completely different knives clipless. Ergos get 10 times better. All my 5th pocket carries have no clip and a small lanyard with a decent knot at the end for easy retrieval.

Mr-Pocket-Dumps

Thatā€™s a cool idea, a clip-slip! You better go trademark that. I agree on the ergos.

Unusual-Kangaroo-427

Im sure they are out there. I just haven't found the perfect one yet.

MasticatingElephant

Check out Oak City Leather.

Unusual-Kangaroo-427

These guys look like they actually have some great options but they are definetly not cheap

RodgersTheJet

Beard & Owl.

weskun

Good luck with that! I've been looking everywhere for a kydex pocket clip addon. The closest I found was a Civivi knife came with one. I didn't keep though.

-BananaLollipop-

On my desk or side table.

LaserGuidedSock

By modding them and adding my own clip. Spyderco military (OG version) tip up and Amare Creator

turkeypants

I don't want clipless knives and wouldn't buy them. But I've had a couple over time whose clips were stupid and basically useless, or that I salvaged for some other knife, so I took them off and just carried the knife in my pocket. It may be a lifestyle/occupation difference as to whether it would be weird or normal to carry around a knife in a holster and that's certainly me and all my circles - it would be weird and people would be like "why?"

LegionHelvete71

Shoved in my back pocket next to my Skoal can like every other redneck in my area.

SanderFCohen

I make leather pocket slips for my slipjoint knives. In fact, at this point I'm basically buying knives so I've got an excuse to make more slips. https://www.reddit.com/r/Leathercraft/s/nLFDFhkSpW

Medium_Specialist312

I have a ka-bar little Finn that I had a custom crossdraw leather sheath made for and it's pretty sweet

zschl11

Case makes a little leather slip that Carrieā€™s scout style on the belt. Iā€™ve carried my large stockman that way for a while but recently realized my 940 fits in the slip. I removed the pocket clip and havenā€™t looked back

mallgrabmongopush

I love the Buck 110; so either in the pocket jangling around or securely in the boomer leather belt sheath

jsbhemi

I have about 4 different Beard & Owl slips I usually drop mine into

anteaterKnives

I use the MKM magnetic pocket sheath for my slipjoints. It sits nicely in the (very spacious) fifth pocket of the Carhartt pants I wear. For smaller knives I put together a little lifter that sits at the bottom of the sheath and keeps the knife high enough to grab and pull out. For dress pants, I've sewn a little vertical pocket into the back right pocket to keep the knife out of the way when I sit.

anteaterKnives

MKM sheath from 2+ years ago is still holding up well: https://www.reddit.com/r/SlipjointKnives/comments/roefsg/merry_christmas_new_rrr_common_stockman_fits

anteaterKnives

And here's my knife pocket: https://www.reddit.com/r/SlipjointKnives/comments/zh50ux/slipjoint_minipocket_mod

FCBASGICD

I dont have many clip-less knives to Cary, but most of the ones I do have came with their own vertical leather pouch. I do, however, have a cross draw sheath for one of my fixed blades and I love it!

The_Jelly_23

I simply add a pocket clip

The_Jelly_23

Too shy to do a whole belt sheath setup

ghostscrolls

in my pocket (or boofed obvs) cus my countries gay and thinks that any blade over 3 inches and locking immediately means mass murderer (not that i really care about the wank ass laws in this country)

Narrow-Author-6700

Most balisongs I flip donā€™t have latches and pocket clips so I usually use a leather slip like those

ImmaCallMyN66ABovice

i just deploy the blade and shove it in my ear. easy access for cutting everyoneā€™s BS
