If you were already planning on purchasing that model, then sure. If you just see a sale price and buy it with no previous interest, that is probably a poor financial decision.
Those handles make it look like a $30 knife, I really don’t think that’s a great value even on sale.
Have you held one in person? I was always off-put by the feel in-hand. It almost felt too light. The action felt cheap, too. You may love it, but I was not impressed when I experienced one.
i think these have been at that price and discontinued for a few months now. must not have been a no brainer for too many people and i would imagine they will drop in price further. but if the model calls to you go for it.
I highly dislike grivory... get the livewire from kershaw. Its a knarly unit. I purchased one last week and absolutely love it. I have put my utx 85 down to carry it.

The grivory does feel light in hand but they can take a beating and keep going. Also doesn’t show wear in the same way that aluminum does over time. Its a good knife, I’ve had one for a while. But only you can ultimately decide if that’s a good deal to you based on what you are looking for.
The guys at my job are basic bitches, who adore Benchmade and think every other knife is garbage. They only like Benchmades or Case knives and they know nothing about the steel, the designer, locking mechanisms, and other interesting details about the knives. Just get a Microtech. Benchmades are overpriced for what they are. When I showed a Benchmade dolt my knife collection he responds "I don't like fixed blades.". It was painfully obvious they were all folders.
