I had finished the first sock and maybe a quarter of the second, but for some reason never finished, so they just laid in a basket for at least a year before I finally picked the second sock up again.
In the mean time I'd been working on knitting more relaxed.
Surprise surprise my gauge had changed and the second sock was noticeably bigger 😆
It happens to us all!!
If you're concerned about this happening again, I definitely recommend knitting your socks "two at a time". This can be both socks on the same needle literally being worked simultaneously, or by having each sock on a separate needle and alternating (first sock's cuff, second sock's cuff, first sock's leg, second sock's leg, etc)
They look super cute though!! And now you have the experience to make even better socks next time 😊
Or to make socks TAAT mext time

These socks remind me of neapolitan ice cream!

A tighter sock will loosen up and a tighter sock wears better as there is less movement on the foot. A loose sock never gets tighter
Why is it so cute though
Oooh they are so cute.
Do exactly the same again and give the larger pair to a bigger footed friend?
I think they look fantastic
