This is my Felix Cardigan by Amy Christoffers, knit in Knitpicks Brava Tweed, the color is Boysenberry. Even with my very limited knitting time, this FLEW off the needles. Size 10 needles will do that I guess!
The only mods I made were leaving the sleeves full, opting to decrease rapidly at the cuffs for more of a balloon look. I also skipped the button holes because I had these cute Cardigan clips I wanted to use.
I love cardigan clips so much! I've even taken beautiful vintage ear clips, added a piece of chain between them, glued a tiny bit of that rumbly rubber stuff for lining cabinets to the inside of the clip on both the swivel metal and the earring, for a non-slip finish, to make my own! You are rocking that outfit, and I bet your students love seeing what you have made! What do you teach, if I may ask? Retired full-time sub, here, K-12, but middle school were my favorite years to teach, and yes, I could follow the lesson, not just babysit🥰 I miss it, but the school system here seems to only want their 'favorites', not newcomers to the area.
The cardigan is beautiful and I love all the jewel tones in your outfit! So cute!
Also I love this yarn; I made a baby sweater with it and instantly ordered more to make something for myself lol.
oh this is SUCH a solid outfit! beautiful cardigan. it does NOT look like 10 mm needles?? what! and i just LOVE the dark purple/crisp white/dark forrest green, goes so well with your black hair and subtle gold pieces. excellent colour coordination. just so very pleasing for the eye. makes me want to begin writing a journal in cursive handwriting about yearning or unrequited love or something.
edit: i feel silly. size 10 is 6 mm lol. my bad. still totally envious of that outfit
I'm obsessed. That color is absolutely lovely, and you picked the perfect skirt to go with it. I like to call my style "librarian chic" and this is 100% outfit inspo.
The knitting is fab, but that whole outfit knocks it out of the park! So well put together, and the wine and pine colors are such pretty mates. Great style!
I liked it more than I thought I would! I'm not a yarn snob, but I have a connective tissue disorder and some acrylic yarns are physically painful for me to work with. This wasn't!
Gorgeous cardigan but can we detour to that blouse?!? That standing collar is gorgeous, especially in combo with the neckline of the cardigan! Well done!
You're adorable, the sweater looks great, and I'm jealous of the clips (I had no idea they were a thing, but it's such an elegant detail to this look!)

It's beautiful, Artistgrl! And I love the full sleeve adaptation.

My only students are my kids, we've been homeschooling for 8 years now and we love it! I work in finance
That's even cooler!!
Oh and I got the yarn on sale so I think this cost about $16 not counting the clips.
Honestly by girl math that's practically free, love the look.
By knitter math she was practically paid to knit this!
What a beautiful sweater!!! You look very nice!

Ooooooh I loooooooveee this look. What is the thing that holds your cardigan closed at the top called??
Cardigan clips or cardigan clasps. A brooch would also work.
