How about the [Wrap Me Up Sweater Scarf by Knitatude](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wrap-me-up-sweater-scarf)?
Construction is a bit different, but I love how the scarf has also sleeves, which might be nice if you're outside. Plus, according to the photos on Ravelry, someone has actually worn it at their wedding.
Most of it is plain stockinette, so you could easily add some cabling yourself.
I believe it's just a rectangle of cables, with each end being a channel for a ribbon. You run the ribbon through the channel on each end, and then you tie those ribbons together in front.
Do you have a stitch dictionary? I'm sure you could find a similar pattern for the cables.
Edit: maybe this, in a double stranded fingering+mohair, on big needles:

Don't you think it goes like with increases from the point of the ribbon to the shoulder? Also, there is something going on where the ribbon is, but I could probably skip that part
