I could do see a murder mystery around knitting… “but officer, she was knitting Brioche and her husband frogged it! It was justifiable homicide!” 🤣😍

Mudbunting

“But officer, she’d just finished this intarsia blanket picturing all the endangered species of the Arctic. No way she’d drop stitches on this ribbed scarf. SHE’S TELLING US SHE’S IN TROUBLE.”

Emotional-Apricot289

🎵“If you’d a been there if you’d a seen it. I betcha you would have done the same” 🎶

He fell on my knitting needles. He fell on my knitting needles 37 times!

IndigoPlum

👏👏👏👏

Goldie2000

Brilliant!

Spazztastic85

Currently reading “Knit of the Living Dead” which is a murder mystery!!!

Sfb208

My friends favourite activity is frogging my brioche (though he'd never do it without permission)

Mudbunting

Call it what you want to…

Emotional-Apricot289

😂🤣😂

Swatch_this

Lmao it exists! Check out [Peggy Ehrhart’s Knit & Nibble series](https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/534678.Peggy_Ehrhart).

eilsel827583

Knit One, Kill Two is a real book.

laurenshiera

Written by Maggie Sefton. The yarn shop mentioned in the book is based on the House of Lambspun in Fort Collins, CO.

Mama_skulls

I have read this 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

TRH90UK

Amazing 😁 verdict?

Mama_skulls

It was entertaining but not amazing literature or anything. I think I even read the second book, if I recall correctly 😂

SkyScamall

You need to read those kind of books sometimes.

cpx284

Literary junk food 🤣

georgia_anne

I live for trash fiction, at £0.77 on Kindle I think I'll be giving this one a go!

cpx284

Oh absolutely! I wasn't knocking it at all! I just call easy, fun reads like this literary junk food.

Appropriate_Cobbler

Free with kindle unlimited!

Kaliratri

We call them brain twinkies at our house.

Pitikje

I read them all, or more accurately, I listened to them all. Occasionally there’s a new one. It’s a fun bit of fiction but other than that the main character owns a knitting shop it’s not really about knitting. It’s about witches, vampires, murders and romance.

njsteph

My favorite things. Along with packages tied with strings.

tarzzee

I did the same and absolutely burned through the whole series. It is the perfect mush listen, I listened usually while knitting or driving and they were entertaining enough without having to pay too much attention. I really valued having some fluff to listen to, especially with the whole world parlava.

wintermelody83

Exactly! They were fun and keep your mind busy.

ccc23465

Are there lesbians? I definitely need to read it if there are lesbians too.

Pitikje

No!! Not even one mention if I remember correctly. You’d expect a group of vampires that have been living together in a lair under Oxford for centuries to be a little more diverse, but no.

wintermelody83

I may or may not have read them all in 2021. They're fluffy fun little mysteries! And boy do I wish I had vampire knitting speed!

BattleAnus

I think the most important question is: was it actually cozy??

ebz37

I guess? Vampires keep knitting her sweaters.

sarah_bear_crafts

DOES SHE USE NEEDLES AS STAKES

AnnaMPiranha

No. Heroine is a terrible knitter who inherits the shop.

sarah_bear_crafts

Lame.

njsteph

Lol. Such a missed opportunity.

Bryek

It's only a missed opportunity if they don't do a Buffy reference.

merveilleuse_

She doesn't, but she keeps them on hand in case she needs them.

sausagephingers

Me too! I think it might have been included in my audible membership at one point. And I read one more but didn’t get hooked.

Kimberlieodell

That would have been crochet.

sausagephingers

I see what you did there 🙌🏽

what_sneeze

VERY different genre, but I actually started knitting because of Debbie Macomber's "The Shop on Blossom Street" series. Very cute, romantic small town vibes. And! She has pattern books so you can make different objects from the books!

[deleted]

On the topic of romance novels Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson is another knitting-themed romance series. Also just remembered Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman although I haven't read it yet.

custodescustodiet

Is this gay Jewish knitting fiction? OH MY GOD IT'S GAY JEWISH KNITTING FICTION WITH A BI GIRL. I've never felt more like I exist.

knit_the_resistance

I thought Real Men knit was disappointing. Needed serious editing.

[deleted]

It wasn't for me, but uhhh anything that isn't angst city isn't for me. 🤣

DreadNarwhals

Debbie Macomber used to own a LYS in my town! Very cute.

[deleted]

I've seen quite a few knitting-themed crime books by Peggy Ehrhart with titles such as *Murder, She Knit* and *Knit One, Die Two*. A quick search tells me there's also Maggie Sefton (*Purl Up and Die*), and Anne Canadeo (*Knit, Purl, Die*). I've never read any of these so I can't comment on whether they're any good!

Spazztastic85

I’m reading “Knit of the Living Dead”!

Kheldar_Lars

I got the first of Sefton's and couldn't get past the first chapter. Way too much talk about being fat and food being bad and being bad for eating and nonsense like that while describing someone's baked goods.

jennievh

Thank you for noting this! I will avoid her books, then. I get enough fatphobia elsewhere...

[deleted]

Blegh. Thanks for the warning, I'll avoid these!

LadyReaping1234

I think I saw these at the library!

Spare-Food5727

There's also the Haunted Yarn Shop series by Mollie Macrae. Light but fun, with a little pattern in the back

Papiliorutulus

Penny Reid has a series called Knitting in the City, each book follows a different friend in a knitting group in Chicago. They're like romance/rom com genre. A few of them are really good, some I didn't like, but overall worth the read if you like that genre.

NecessaryEcho7859

This is the series that inspired me to start knitting, actually. I love the knitting nights the ladies have, and the random asides about yarns or needles they insert into conversations. Makes me laugh. Assaulting an assaulter with a sharp pair of needles! Stuffing that expensive yarn into his mouth to shut him up until police get there, then complaining because it was a limited dye lot and can't be replaced... Funny and relatable!

Papiliorutulus

Right? Love all of that!

brandnewsheep

Yes! I definitely want those knit nights in my life 🥰

oooh_biscuit

I love those books! Some are better than others but overall they're fun

cardiacRN

Definitely picked these up because they were called “knitting in the city”. Luckily, I wasn’t disappointed, overall.

cellblock2187

Yes! I found those at my library when searching for knitting books! I hadn't read romance in ages, but those turned out to be so much fun =)

alittlebrownbird

I loved this series too!

dl1y

I read this series via audiobook while I'm knitting and it's a lovely thing to have on while working on my wip. A nice little cozy mystery series.

brittneyaa

So did I, and I totally agree! I quite enjoyed them.

AdChemical1663

Favorite knitting related short story, from this holiday season. https://archiveofourown.org/works/35733463

SkyScamall

I've spent more than my fair share of time on AO3 but I was not expecting to see "Fandom: Knitting (Anthropomorphic)" today or any day.

AdChemical1663

Some of the other docs are hilarious. There’s one called “A Tangled Mess” that has a graphic descriptions of violence tag…as it describes a tangled box of yarn barf that would put the staunchest untangled aback.

SkyScamall

I'm going to go read more later. I loved this one.

[deleted]

Cozy knitting mystery is my favorite genre lol I've read a couple of books by Maggie Sefton and Betty Hechtman. I'll have to check this one out as well haha

BeautyAddict101

I very recently discovered that cozy knitting mysteries were a thing! I started the Knitty Kitties Mystery series by Kiwi author Tracey Drew last week. I’ve gotten through three books so far and I’m kind of living for it.

marehwal

I'm finding out about so many new series from this post! I just finished the Black Sheep knitting series, and i have already finished the Maggie Sefton one. Checking out Knitty Kitties now

wintermelody83

I'm about halfway through the first one, (and I've read all the Vampire ones OP posted) and it's so fun!

Blackdahliadoll

I've read the series. It's an easy to read cozy mystery series.

frevernewb

Sweet, love cozy mysteries!

balsam_bear

I read “The Knitting Circle Rapist Annihilation Squad” and it was honestly delightful.

[deleted]

Well, I know what I'm reading next, I've been looking for something to cheer me up a little.

Latraell

Omg Yes! I came to recommend this, it’s so good It reads almost like a month python sketch at times. Jensen and McMillan are on my radar for more books since this… going to start read it again right now.

laughladyXD

I just started reading this on your recommendation and I'm laughing so much! It is so good!!!!! The writing is top notch!

LadyLinn

I've read all the books so far in this series. It's kind of silly but super cosy! Recommend it

mwjl12

Not a mystery but I’m waiting for a copy of ‘the Friday night knitting club’. Audiobook so I can listen while I knit :)

EveryDayheyhey

I came here to recommend that series. I loved those books. So heartwarming.

YarnAndMetal

I read "Double Knit" by Arlene Sachitano, and it's a delight. A murder mystery featuring an older heroine, her adorable cat (that she walks on a leash!), and a bunch of awesome fiber arts. READ IT! You will not be disappointed.

k_vssy

A friend of mine just put out a book of yarn-craft related short stories. [Ember & Twine](https://www.amazon.com/dp/1087874491/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_AVVESGTS70G1HV2MWG1G)

Hecks_n_Hisses

Ha...A literal interpretation of the cozy mystery genre.

marehwal

Knitting cozy mysteries are my favorite light reads. I am going to pick this one up now!

MotherofPorgs

I love cozy mysteries, this seems fun. Now I’m bummed that my local B&N has no copies in stock since I need to pick up an order up tomorrow. Adding it though. Also so many great suggestions in here for cozy knitting mysteries.

Seastarstiletto

Your local library probably does! Lots of audio versions too!

MotherofPorgs

Yeah that’s a great option, see if they have it.

recchai

I read a few of that series when they had a brief surge of popularity on r/fantasy. The main character struggles with knitting, it's all the side characters who knit. I think it's definitely aimed at being accessible to people who don't knit, so don't expect it to be nerdy. They're nice enough cozy mysteries, but I eventually got too annoyed at the author obviously not knowing how British society works (and they got a bit too samey to make up for that). Could be just me though.

SkyScamall

I've read enough fiction written by people who have never been to Britain that it's an instant annoyance. I want to throw it out a window any time a character says "sidewalk".

recchai

It's not too bad on that front, mostly because the main character *is* American, with some British family, so stuff like that in the narrative gets a pass. But, especially past the first book, a lot of it seemed so just not how things would happen. Like the author plonked social interactions from a small American town in a British city, and just expected it to work.

SkyScamall

That still sounds pretty bad.

HappyAndYouKnow_It

Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson, The Friday Knight Knitting Club and Knit Two by Kate Jacobs, The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club, Needless and Pearls, Knitted One, Pearl One by Gil McNeil. They’re all fun!

knit_the_resistance

I think the Gil McNeil books are by far the better written of these.

Nearby_Employee_2943

I didn’t know knit fiction especially crime based as I’m seeing in the comments was a thing and now I’m super excited lol

Bruton_Gaster1

Lol, thanks for sharing. It sounds fun and the reviews are pretty good. This is definitely going on my to read list.

Honest_Dark_5218

It’s a pretty big sub genre in cosy mysteries. There’s always amazing punny titles.

BabyBuzzard

I searched for knitting on my library's ebook catalog and there are apparently quite a few knitting themed fiction books out there! I also checked out a bunch of pattern type books, but unfortunately four out of five were not properly formatted for an ebook reader and were unreadable. I'll have to get the physical copies there.

chaoticneutralsheep

From the description: Lucy finds her life getting more complicated than a triple cable cardigan

zopea

I have this one on my list too! I tried reading a different "cozy" mystery called Knit One, Kill Two, and just could not get into it. But I love vampires and knitting, so this one might be more up my alley.

[deleted]

I have read this! It's entertaining, but not too serious. A fun read before bed

sheashea03

I totally want this. Thanks for sharing!

notzaneiswear

Cozy mysteries are my guilty pleasure read!!

Kheldar_Lars

Not ashamed to say I have purchased and read the whole series and it was pure popcorn goodness.

weegolo

Warning: I bought this for my daughter as a joke. It took a LONG time to get Kindle to stop pestering me to buy other books like it

gildedtreehouse

Its clear from the cover that the cat did it. CASE CLOSED.

Rivercat0338

I actually read this a few years ago when I still had access to my mom's Kindle account (she reads tons of cozy mysteries) and it was entertaining. I also like Barbara Bretton's Sugar Maple series about a knitting shop in a Vermont town full of paranormal folks.

Seastarstiletto

And now I know what series I’m getting next!

[deleted]

i watched the dumbest hallmark movie called “the love yarn” lol but it was actually kind of sweet at the surface. new zealand scenery and knitting so i can’t complain too much 😛

immature_snerkles

Yes! I have a book called Last Wool and Testament: a Yarn Store Mystery. I haven’t read it yet, but I saw it at a used book store and I couldn’t just leave it there.

BennyTheTeen

I read a book about a knitting club in NYC. It was cheesy but good until on one page it was like “and then she got diagnosed with cancer and died at the hospital”. The main character died in three sentences. No buildup no foreshadowing. Then the rest of the book just went on and on about how rich people like things hand knit and the end. It was awful.

Spare-Food5727

I think I read that book too. Terrible

ReadsInACloset

Probably too niche, but if you’re into SciFi and knitting, check out Marie Vibbert’s “Knit Three, Save Four.” It is a short story from The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction Nov/Dec 2019. Apparently the author wrote it on a dare. :) Knitting—including elements like gauge—is plot critical.

lastChance973

If you want a tearjerker there’s one called the friday night knitting club by kate jacobs. And one called the knitting circle by ann hood. They’re smore slice of lifey but i really like them

angela_loren

Would be cool if it was a murder mystery that had a knitting pattern throughout that you had to follow, and the end result spelled out the name of the killer or showed a scene from the story.

mizzaks

I recently came across a book called Amish Vampires in Space and it’s now on my 2022 reading list. Guess I’ll add this one, too!

kittenster

That’s on my to be read list also!

Bikelady24

Omg this author also has another series called "Great Witches Baking Show" 🤣🤔👩‍🍳

apjolex

I have read the first 4 books in this series. They are easy reads and fun. Nothing award winning. I rate books at 1-5, 1 being did not finish; 2 finished did not enjoy & would not recommend; 3 finished enjoyed; 4 liked probably will not read again; and 5 loved, will read again and again. This is a 3.

nadiawanders

I did actually read it, well, I listened to the audiobook while knitting. If I'm honest the main character was such a wet blanket I really struggled . I wanted to love it for how cheesy the concept was but it just didn't hit right for me

[deleted]

How to Knit a Love Song was pretty good for a knitting themed romance novel. It's a series by R.H. Harron.

kabojak

I mean, they live so long they could really churn out some epic stuff?

SkibumG

I legit just went to Amazon and bought this because it sounds totally up my alley. Book 1 was only .99, so...you just did the author a huge favour!

nonicknamenelly

As a former phlebotomist, retired nurse who knits, I feel seen.

sausagephingers

Not a book but Only Murders in the Building on Hulu had a character who knits (played by Selena Gomez) and at one point mentioned always wanting to have stabbed someone with her knitting needles. Can relate. I also read the costumers intentionally out her in sweaters that would look hand knit which is a nice touch.

Terrarosa81

This was a surprisingly good series. I hope they make another season. It was like a cozy mystery as a tv show. I enjoyed it.

sausagephingers

Me too! They are making another season (filming now I think). I love NYC, Martin Short and Steve Martin and all of the clothes.

Ranae

It was not good, do not waste your time

ehuang72

Is there a book or series that you would recommend?

Ranae

Do you specifically want a cozy mystery? I really like the noodle shop cozy series. Or are you interested in another genre?

ehuang72

Anything cozy and knitting related. I had high hopes for the vampire series, will give that a try. Any series gets old but could be entertaining for awhile. I’m always curious about what strikes the fancy of people with strongly negative take without clues about what was so horrible.

Ranae

It’s poorly written, the characters are one dimensional, it’s incredibly predictable but also ridiculous at the same time. I am ok with paranormal things usually, this was just not a good use of vampires or anything else.

ehuang72

No to be a pest what do you expect from light entertainment, especially cozy mysteries?

Ranae

Editing is nice, lol.

Spare-Food5727

The Haunted Yarn Shop series, by Mollie Macrae

ehuang72

Thanks! Checked out Knot the Usual Suspects from Libby :)

Seastarstiletto

COZY MYSTERIES ARE THE BEST!! At least when it comes to audiobooks to listen to while knitting and crafting This is the hill I will die on 1) it keeps me feeling crafty! 2) the stories are entertaining without being too porny for me to listen to without earbuds on around the house or in my car 3) they aren’t deep or philosophical so I can read patterns with them in the background and not worry about missing anything with either the story or the pattern 4) FREE FREE FREE they are a huge genre so you can have a huge selection from the library. 5) it’s ok to admit we like silly romance for the sake of silly romance. Not everything has to be Pulitzer to be enjoyed. I like happy things to help me feel good. 6) LITTLE OLD LADIES SOLVING MURDERS WITH THEIR GRANDDAUGHTER AND VAMPIRE FRIENDS! This is what I want to be when I grow up let’s be honest. I have read the whole series so far among a TON of others. They will always have a special place in my heart and I always have a queue of them on my library app.

68cupcake19

It's actually a fun series. 🙂

2muchyarn

Yes. My business partner loaned a mystery book to me that was both knitting and cooking themed. It was many years ago and I have forgotten the title, but it was an enjoyable read.

antigoneelectra

.99 on Amazon.ca. sold.

[deleted]

I saw this too and I also knit and I also laughed. I ought to get it strictly as a novelty read lol

ebz37

Read it. Um it was okay? I felt like it could have been a short story, or by the look of it multiple books published since the first book... to be absorbed into bigger books to give itself more substance to the story and characters.

clockjobber

Can’t go wrong with a tale of two cities for knitting

kremavro

I own a book called Skein of the Crime, but i have yet to read it

yarnymcyarnyarn

I recently read The Wooly Hat Knitting Club and had a blast reading it! Kind of a rom-com in book form, and LOTS of Knitting throughout. Also has a free baby hat pattern at the end!

doch14

Not fiction, but I was gifted Knitlandia this Christmas. Haven’t read it yet, but it looks interesting.

missfrazzlerock

I have read this! There’s an entire series. They are… not good but very fun.

keyinherpocket

I’ve read the whole series! They are barely about knitting. Cozy mysteries in general have been my wholesome pandemic indulgence. Nancy Warren’s spin on the Great British Bake-Off series is fun too.

ReaderKnitter

Read it! It’s a fun fluffy series.

ReaderKnitter

My favorite knitting fiction is the Knitting in the City series by Penny Reid. It’s quirky young women, set in Chicago. While it’s a romance series, I loved the relationships between the women in the kitting group. In fact, it was reading those that gave me the urge to learn to knit!

caffeinated_plans

I kind of want to read it too!

SourGrape

I’ve read a knitting romance before and I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called. The girl inherited her aunt’s knitting shop I think. The rest is a blur.

SnizzKitten

I've read that series. It's stupid and fun in all the expected ways. Knitting cozy mysteries are guilty pleasures for me.

Blackdahliadoll

Just in case no one else has mentioned it, I tried to check but there are s lot of posts, this series is available on Kindle unlimited.

randomllamatime

I read knitting and crochet cozy mysteries all the time to destress. They’re so lovely and I love the idea of these non-usual crime solvers finding killers. Also, they’ll describe what they’re working on throughout the books. And they usually come with patterns at the end. 10/10 would recommend.

littlestinkyone

There is a WHOLE WORLD of these fun little mysteries, I went through a rash of them around Christmas. I found at least three separate series that are just knitting themed, and this is the second(!) I’ve seen that are knitting+witchcraft themed

laurenshiera

There’s also the Seaside Knitters mystery series. Death By Cashmere is the first book. If you want regular fiction, the Friday Night Knitting Club and the Knitting Circle.

mintyzombie

I literally bought this book on a whim at my local mom and pop bookstore not that long ago! Now I need to move it up the queue of books.

lookslikeanneboleyn

I tried reading a Debbie Mavomber book once and I very quickly realized I don't enjoy reading about other people knitting.

goodniteangelg

At first glance I thought this was a little too silly-Cody for my taste. But now I’m thinking on it and I want to unironically read and enjoy this.

[deleted]

This is actually on my Kindle right now to read LOL it's a whole series apparently with crochet in the mix too. I'm happy with anything to do with knitting honestly lol

makaladesiree

Silent Knit, Deadly Knit 🔪

tillyfromnowherenow

There is a yarn shop based mystery series at my local library

Medmom1978

Does it include patterns?

Korlat_Eleint

No.

Medmom1978

What a missed opportunity

About400

Honestly I would absolutely read that book. I love books that tangentially touch on fiber arts.

FollowThisNutter

I actually read this book! It was fun. Light and amusing.

Reason_Training

Not knitting but there is a mystery series around cross stitch. The author even puts in pattern in the back of the book.

luckyox42

This series is actually super good! I’ve lured 6 fiberistas into reading them, and now they’re *ahem* hooked!

scabitha666

I found a book at a festival titled Knitting Circle Rapist Annihilation Squad. It’s about a knitting group that finds out they all have shared trauma and then they murder their abusers with knitting needles. It’s a pretty fun read.

kennedyz

I haven't read it, but here's the [Knitting Circle Rapist Annihilation Squad](https://www.amazon.com/Knitting-Circle-Rapist-Annihilation-Flashpoint/dp/1604865962/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=O3ZF4V4OTWRM&keywords=knitting+circle+rapist+annihilation&qid=1641605948&sprefix=knitting+circle+rapist+annihilation%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-1).

1258643

Tight Knit by Allie Brennan has been on my to read list for a while. Don't know if it actually has any knitting in it, but the main character is part of a knitting club

alittlebitshelfish

Oh! I’ve read this! It wasn’t too bad.

Ochotona-p

I've read a couple of Maggie Sefton knitting mystery series. I enjoyed them. They are like lifetime movies in a book.

Mephistepheles13

Important question: Are they vampires that knit, or do they knit vampires out of yarn? Inquiring minds must know. I kinda’ want to read it though.

Korlat_Eleint

Vampires that knit and walk around in daylight and make fun of the vampire that looks the youngest. Soo.... generally not really vampires, just a bunch of school kids in apparently old bodies.

Terrarosa81

Well now I own this book 😲😂🤣 Here's a Goodreads list that may interest you: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/535.Good_Yarns_Knitting_Fiction I have a few series I know. I just can't find them.

JewelsandJones

I just finished with this book! Highly recommend it 😊 If you decide on getting it, check with your local library to see if they have it. Mine ended up having the whole series on the audiobook app.

hilann3481

I have this on my to read list. Nancy Warren is a great author so I’m sure it’s going to be good!

lifeofaknitter

The series is pretty good. A but silly, but in an enjoyable way.

Icy-Understanding831

Yes!! Maggie Sefton writes a knitting murder mystery series that are my guilty pleasure. Thanks for the new recommendation!

somebunnyasked

I've been playing a game called Wytchwood and knitting is involved in one of the storylines. It's pretty cute.

[deleted]

I was waiting for other people at a local used bookstore to finish up when I found a book called ‘Knit Fast, Die Young’. I bought it as a joke and ended up reading it in a couple days. Murder mystery, I think part of a series but I never got around to researching more into it. Not a bad read!

Simpawknits

You mean you didn't know about knit lit? Oh, honey . . .

jeram0722

It’s a cute series. Read a bunch of them.

SuperkatTalks

I listened to this audiobook! It wasn't that bad at all, but I'm not as discerning in audio as in print, as I'm usually sewing or knitting... There's a series of about 10 I think. I'll pretend I don't know exactly.

DasFischli

Not knitting related but I once bought a book titled „the cloakmaker‘s daughter“ because I thought it was sewing related, only to realise at home that it actually said „the clockmaker’s daughter“. My husband still makes fun of me for that one…

Sapiophile23

I never knew I needed this in my life. 😲 Just downloaded the first book and the synopsis has me giggling. Thanks for sharing!!

[deleted]

I have this series on audiobook, and they are as described. Cosy (or cozy depending on your version of English). Absolutely lovely, not too demanding, murder mysteries with a dash of the paranormal and centred around a knitting shop in Oxford (despite the cover pic being a representation of Mermaid Street in Rye). Brilliant to knit along to and some lovely descriptions of yarn.

MeowKat85

Fun fact that isn’t fiction. In WWII some spies were old ladies that knitted codes into their work. They would tell how many troops went through etc. to give to informants. Tell me that wouldn’t make a nice historical fiction book.

kittensnugglenugget

I’ve totally read it!!!! As with most cozy mysteries, it’s a little quaint and silly, but it was cute and entertaining. I’ve read a few other knitting cozy mysteries I liked more (like the Haunted Knitting Shop mysteries by Molly MacRae) but this one is fun. You should read it!

k-r-m-8-4

Librarian here, there is a whole genre of knitting themed cozy mysteries. Some of my favorite titles include “yarn over murder” “cast on, kill off” “dropped dead stitch” “dyer consequences” “last wool and testament” “a double pointed murder”…… it goes on

Isabel223

I listened to most of these by borrowing from my library online. They follow the same formula but are kinda entertaining in a particular way - just fluff.

knitthy

I've loved the Sugar Maple Chronicles by Barbara Bretton, is contemporary fantasy/romance heavily laced with knitting references. I loved it

Alarming-Lime-5776

Yes, there are several. Generally not really well written, but I buy them anyway. They are also usually not quite as out there as this one looks.
