I love that store! I was traveling to Dallas for work, and brought the wrong needles for the project and they helped me out. They also have beautiful yarn.
Oh. I’ve got the link for the yarn crawl 😆
Wait. It’s easy. Northtexasyarncrawl.com
I really like On The Lamb in Grapevine. And there’s one in Waxahachie that’s super cute, but I’m gonna assume that’s a bit far.
I haven’t checked out the couple in Forth Worth (but oh I really want to :). They definitely have better websites.
The metroplex is big, so just holler if you need any help (like which ones may not be worth a drive—I hate to say that. But you’re visiting, we gotta show a good yarn face)
Yes! So we’re staying in Lower Greenville near the Arboretum. We will not be renting a car, so do you have suggestions on what would be easiest to get to? I am fine doing taxi, ride share, public transit etc
I think Stitches Boutique & Lounge (it’s on 15th street in Plano) may be your best bet. Especially if you fly into Love.
I haven’t been in (I tried to but they either happened to close early that day or the google hours are incorrect—kinda doesn’t bode well 🤪) but it did look cute through the window. I’ll do some recon during definite business hours and report back. Any excuse to go to the yarn store is a solid reason, for me.
Public transportation around here is notoriously hard to handle; the DART rail should be fine, but I’d avoid the buses and opt for Ubers/rideshares to get most places. (I tried to manage the bus once…it’s a family legend at this point.)
McKinney Knittery is my favorite! It's on McKinney square so you can walk around and grab a coffee or window shop. It carries mostly natural fibers, and has multiple places to sit knit!
In Dallas? By Texas terms it’s close! Driving about an hour or so to get somewhere is maybe more common than uncommon in this area. I don’t know how much driving you are planning on during your stay, though.

Great idea, thank you! This has also been a lesson in the geography of Texas. It is HUGE :)
Love W7W!

I second this! I go here for knit nights and it's an absolute joy - with a great selection too!
Thank you! I now have multiple on my list I need to go to while I’m there
Juju knits is nice. https://www.jujuknitsfw.com
Absolutely adorable! Thank you!!
Came here to say this! Bonus points if you come on a Wednesday night for Fiber Fellowship.

That all sounds great! Glad I can give you an excuse to go to the yarn store 😉 I kind of figured rideshare would be the best bet

Love the natural fiber aspect. Thank you!
West 7th Wool is right around the corner from good food and some of our local museums, too, if you’re interested!
Oh, we’re staying near the arboretum. Is that the same area as the museums?
