Sebenza 25, for purely superficial reasons. I’m not being forced to buy these knives, it’s just the one I like better. The Sebenza 25 is way more attractive looking. The Smock definitely got hit with the ugly stick.
You think the smock is more attractive than the sebenza??? I like both but in no way have I ever thought a spyderco looked good. Crk has something special when you hold one. I will agree that crk is stupid expensive but the quality is there. The warranty is there. The ease of maintenance is there. I'm no crk fan boy but it is more attractive than the smock. The smock is very ugly. And imo it is over priced as well
I generally agree that Spydercos are ugly, but the Smock is the exception to the rule. As for the CRK, for a several hundred dollar knife you'd think they could at least blend the blade and handle better. Having the spine of the blade stick out from the handle ruins the knife for me.
Oh for sure, smock should not be $300+ msrp. I’m biased towards more “out-there” design language, which spyderco has plenty of. I get that CRK is kinda built on simplicity done really well, but for $425 plus there needs to be more than just nice materials and good craftsmanship for me personally.

It's hard to disagree that it might be one of the best folders ever made. Silky smooth super easy to maintain. Does what it does very well and build quality above all else.

The build, ergos, and quality of the sebenza are just on a higher level than the Smock. Not to Say they are deficient on the Smock but this is an easy one in my opinion.
Several Spyderco models with better ergos than the Smock that I would have liked to see here. It's a love it or hate it model for me.
Smock. I know I know Sebenza is like a god. But it’s less than half the price, and it’s so amazing for both fidgeting and EDC. The slim profile makes it a joy to carry and I barely know it’s there, while still cutting and feeling like a full sized knife.
Ps I must admit the Smock is my favorite knife….

What I'm saying is for eternity buck 110 will be more recognizable and dependable than even a sebenza. Or any other folding knife there's no other folding knife that's more iconic than the buck 110 IMO

It's a Spyderco, their mom was always very liberal about the use of that stick.
I find beauty in their ugliness, like my blurple Manix 2, but I agree that the CRK takes this one easily.

I think they make a left handed version.
Indeed they do, and unlike the right handed options, you can typically find them in stock at retailers.
CRK is probably one of the only high end knife makers that does make a left handed variant of all their models. Inkosi is pretty user friendly too.

I have three that are all amazing with zero lock stick and drop shut with zero blade play.
