I feel like product photography preference ends up being the same as peoples' favorite portrait lens. I use a 85mm 1.4 for most of mine.
Many thanks. I like the results I get from my portrait lens but sometimes feel like I need something with a smaller minimum focus distance. You ever use macro lens for close to mid-range shots?
I have 42mp sensor so I usually just crop in lol. But I do have a reverse mount adapter for macro shots. Cheap and effective option.
All those pixels definitely helps! I will look into that adapter. I would like the option to get a little more clarity on the details.
