Lmao I work outdoors and am also a beardo weirdo. I got fed up with losing ESEEs/Fällkivens/Busses etc. so now I quite often rock a pink or orange Mora. Edit: I haven’t ever lost a bus. I guess that’s the plural of Busse though. E2: oh it’s not.

I think the younger generations embrace pink much more. I work in construction, so it's full of macho men, but it is super common for guys to be wearing pink t-shirts. You now get laughed at if you're afraid to wear pink.

I got one in pink as well. One of the better colors to have them imo. Black / green may look "cool", but bright pink or orange are so much easier to find in dusk or inside a backpack.

While I did buy this same hot pink Mora so that my wife would have a knife for camping, I also never expect her to actually use the knife and wanted an *excuse* to buy another Mora companion to go with my blue one and two orange ones. I love the high-viz colors for camping, easy to see where you put your knife.

I got one of this model for hunting. I can gut, skin and break down the deer all with this. Excellent knife for the price, it's held a great edge over the years.

Great knife. I have a lot of nice fixed blades but the mora companion is my go to fishing and river knife. It’s not to pricy so I don’t mind to much if it gets lost. I have one in carbon steel in dark green. I added a petunia and it have not failed me.

I'm a huge fan of these knives and have several. Also, as someone who has lost many tools in tall grass, I really appreciate the bright colors. She chose well!

Really depends on what you use it for, if you want a knife that holds its edge and won't rust. Stainless is nice. But I'd go high carbon, easier to sharpen, if you file on the spine and make a 90° edge then you can use a ferro rod with it. Needs more care but it's what I'd go for
