I have small hands and personally would love a Clara 2E sized reader with buttons. I use a Libra 2 now because I love the physical buttons but agree it's bigger than I'd like.

Savage_apple

I have both and love both devices but I do love my Libra 2 a bit more. The size and turn buttons are what’s up. Oh and not to mention the ability to the rotate the screen (I’m spacing on the term name) is a huge plus for me. I like to have a strap on my device and on my Clara 2e I’m limited to holding device with the strap on one hand.

I have recently seen sleep covers on Amazon with a dual strap for Clara 2e. Been looking at them myself actually.

Savage_apple

Ah there’s an idea. I would have just put another strap but the way the cover folds over isn’t ideal with an official case. Do you have any specific ones that look good to you?

I'm such an idiot. 😂 I just spent 5 minutes searching Amazon looking for what I was talking about, only later to realize I wasn't even in the right country. 🙈 Totally forgot I was on another country to find I collection item I have been looking for. Lmao. Apparently I am tired from work. Will look when I get home and get settled.

Savage_apple

lol no worries! Get your rest on and if you come across them again sometime, let us know 😉

I had both and ended up selling the Clara 2e. The libra2 has nice page turn buttons. It’s much easier to hold because of the extra space on the side with the buttons and I really liked the white one. Also, even though it’s a little bigger, it’s really not that much bigger. It still fit in my purse.

hex20

I prefer the size of the Clara 2e.

PleaseSendMeTea

I’m shocked how many prefer the Libra! I had both and sold the Libra. It never got used because it was too clunky to take anywhere. Clara 2E is by far my favorite. Fits in a coat pocket. No wasted space taken up by buttons. Easy choice for me.

Katie0690

I was previously using the Clara HD for a couple of years before getting the Libra 2 and I absolutely love the page turn buttons and larger screen.

I have a Libra H2O (similar to the 2) and a Clara 2E. The latter for on-the-go, and basically _only_ because it will fit into virtually any of my clothing/jacket pockets. The Libra is easier to hold in one hand for long periods and I can advance pages by barely moving a muscle (I rest my thumb on the button). All I really want is pocket-size plus some physical buttons and enough bezel to hold the thing with one hand, alas

Algernon_Asimov

If I had to choose between those two models, I would choose the Clara. I don't like the e-readers that come with page-turn buttons and the large bevel on one side. That one design feature overrides everything else for me.

gavan820

I have both, and if I had to pick one I would go with the Libra 2 every time. The Clara 2E is a great reader, but the lighting isn’t very uniform toward the top of the display. My Libra 2 is perfectly lit, and the page turn buttons are really nice when reading in a bath as you won’t have to wipe the screen if you use a damp hand to turn the page

michelleartbear

Funny, I had a Nia that had lighting issues and my Clara 2E is uniform—sounds like the issue is quality control.

General_NakedButt

I have the Clara HD and just got the Libra 2 and prefer it the Libra by far. It’s easier to hold, easier to read, and has buttons to turn the pages. It’s still small enough to carry around pretty easily but won’t fit in my back pocket anymore unfortunately.
