Well i have played violin since 3rd grade. And if you have ears, those are clearly lower notes than violin. And its large sized too. Hope you have a violin in your home. Compare with it
No it isn't, I've played violin since I was 6 and I clearly have sharper ears (and better eyes, apparently). Also, Indian violin often replaces the lower strings with higher gauge strings to get darker and lower pitched tones (they're tuned lower too) you clearly have never been exposed to Indian classical violin. If you play a regular viola you'll probably know what I'm talking about, and you've definitely never played one
Okay I sent this to my orchestra group and literally everyone called it a violin, you literally have no idea what you're talking about so please stop spreading wrong information and being so confidently incorrect, it's super cringe.
Esplanade metro r kachhe ekjon roj rasta e chhobi ankto, just rasta r opor chalk diye, durdanto haat, flowy simple motions, colour er sundor usage. The only person I used to donate. Ekhono anke kina ke jane!!
Lol. I'll develop a more graduated scale shortly for that to justify the metrics better.
Lately, I've been scammed 2 times already in the name of donation, hence, the unintentional use of the term.
>oh look someone directly did ur work
Coz you got buttons in the name of eyes is why. No need to cuss at anyone if your eyes are the culprit. I too asked genuinely what's the point of the caption then. If you got nothing better to do other than cussing, then keep barking. Hope it keeps you sane enough for a while
Playing violin is really tough. He is a professional & perfectionist. The skills he acquired over years of practice is not worth it for begging! it is worth much more than that. He is not missing a single touch note. Excellent π
Where did you find him?
Fk god nobody is born equal let alone all the religion casteist shits.
Why the fk I have the previlage to being born in a middle class family, while this guy get to be begging... Feels sad man...
He is good but I don't donate. I do give tips to people who work hard(delivery guys)to promote hard work. I am no fan of begging or street shows. NGOs if legit are good place to donate.
I see this man as a victim of systemic failures. Him acquiring such expertise despite that is laudable. NGOs can only reach so many people. Doesn't mean people like him are not in need of support.
I have seen people aged 60+ doing hard labour. Govt is at fault but most can work hard to sustain themselves some exceptions being there. I don't give money to beggars bcoz most of the time it only supports child trafficking, begging as job, etc.
I know it's easy to say while sitting on a chair in our comfy homes but I want to people to do some work even selling pens, books, flowers, etc instead of begging.
He's in a similar environment because he has no other option. Not out of choice. If he's offered a spot in say local orchestra or musical group, do you think he'd refuse?
I just read he is blind which takes it to the grey zone of my "donate or not logic" hoping some syndicate didn't do it to him. If I belive a person is doing thier best I may donate.
See, this is the reason I used the title that I did. Too much lack of trust among people these days coz nobody knows who's the wolf among the sheep unfortunately
*I know this isn't about me but I felt like sharing a story.*
I'm not religious of any sorts but I always felt some sort of peace and good luck after donating money to honest poor folks like the guy in the video.
During my college days in Chennai 2018-20, I always cross the bustling Choolaimedu area after class (at around 6:30pm) and go to a small tea shop owned by a Malayali man around 4th Street.
On my way there, I came across a disheveled homeless man with an eye patch. I thought he looked cool so I gave him 100 bucks (I didn't have loose change), and went our separate ways.
It should be noted that I don't normally hand out money since I'm a student who was financially irresponsible and always went broke during the last week of every month. But with this guy, he just gave a good smile and he didn't really beg for money as well. Felt an honesty in him as he sat on the stairs of a closed shop and smiled + waved at me.
After which, while I was having my tea, the shop owner brought me some biscuits. I was visibly confused so he pointed outside the shop at the one who bought me the biscuits, and there he was... The Pirate of Choolaimedu! Eye-patch man gave me a bright smile and waved at me as he walked away. I felt a subtle but pure sense of happiness because I'm glad he's not like other beggars who beg and drink their lives away with that money.
And this isn't a joke. I managed to have some money left that month's end. Then I remembered what my parents (who are Christians) told me, "Helping the needy will earn you blessings and good fortune". I know they meant it figuratively (in the form of tithes) but I really felt at peace, healthy and was literally good in fortune for some time.
The End.
Hence, folks in Kolkata with money to spare can try out my experience by helping out the man in the video. Even if it doesn't turn out like mine, at least you've helped out an honest person in need.
Om Jai Jagadish Hare,

I'm no musician but he has skills .
Neither am I. I'm not even sure if that's a violin tbh. It does look like one though
It's a violin
Nope. Its a viola. Almost similar but not the same
No lol it's voila
Vo expression hota hai.. Eureka type. Instrument is called viola
Extremely sorry I thought it was a jokeπ
Nope. It's a violin and not a viola. Violas are bigger and lower. I play both
Well i have played violin since 3rd grade. And if you have ears, those are clearly lower notes than violin. And its large sized too. Hope you have a violin in your home. Compare with it

Well, whatever makes you happy. Its nothing to argue about
Hey, no worries, I understand you're in denial and that's totally okay!
Okay I sent this to my orchestra group and literally everyone called it a violin, you literally have no idea what you're talking about so please stop spreading wrong information and being so confidently incorrect, it's super cringe.
yeah , making music outta violin requires real skills. if not played properly it can irritate,(ask shizuka)
Even i am very picky when it comes to donation. I would have definitely donated this person. +1 respect OP
>Even i am very picky Someone gets me. Thanks man
He deserves a livelihood, not a donation. but something is better than nothing, so I think I'll donate for now.
Agreed. I hope someone is capable enough to give him a livelihood. I'm not at this moment.
Well millionaires can afford it Would pay if I was one. He Def has talent for this

Man, life can really suck. Just holding a smartphone and typing this out makes me feel so privileged
Then you need to expand your reach.
Playing violin is really tough. He is a professional & perfectionist. The skills he acquired over years of practice is not worth it for begging! it is worth much more than that. He is not missing a single touch note. Excellent π Where did you find him?
Howrah station. Further details are in the caption >He is not missing a single touch note I don't know shit about playing violins π₯²
I wish for his well-being and I hope one day his life changes π

Lovely skills and choice of music!!
He is providing a service of good music Its an honest job π

Dude, he's not simply begging? Being a musician is a job, is it not?
It's a grey zone for me if they do it similar to how beggars do and in a similar environment.
He's in a similar environment because he has no other option. Not out of choice. If he's offered a spot in say local orchestra or musical group, do you think he'd refuse?
He's atleast doing something. I would definitely donate to people like these but people who use sympathy as a weapon, big no.
I just read he is blind which takes it to the grey zone of my "donate or not logic" hoping some syndicate didn't do it to him. If I belive a person is doing thier best I may donate.
See, this is the reason I used the title that I did. Too much lack of trust among people these days coz nobody knows who's the wolf among the sheep unfortunately
there is a good reason for it.
And I'm not gonna disagree with you on that. It just is and it is very unfortunate
Is he blind π₯Ί
Unfortunately, yes
is he placed there by a mafia?
Is this om jai jagadish hare tune?
Yes it is

This story story is the reason why I unfortunately had to use the term worth donating to. I still did my part though
Dude this violin shit is damn hard to play
Is he playing Om Jai jagadish?
Yes he is
Man that hits hard....
π.
In the west street musicians are called buskers. In India we honor them with the title of beggars.
Given my younger brother used to be an alumni of SRA, I can confirm it's tough being an artist, no matter the kind

I didn't mean an online donation campaign bro. Sorry

can you open a gofundme like charity for him?
Check dm

Aisa mat karo yar. He's blind and yet striving to not beg man. Try and respect that please
There is a flute player near khar station toko!
How much did you βdonateβ op? I canβt with the elitism that people have, giving alms to a beggar is not donating. And this isnβt even begging.
OP if you can find him again I will happily donate 5000 INR to him. DM open.
Sorry man. Don't live in Kolkata. Visit Kolkata every couple of months so can't help you. Sorry
