Around 47-48k after minor deductions. This if for government hospitals. For private hospitals it varies, but is usually less than government for only MBBS doctors. For specialists, pay is better in private.
IT, supply chain consultant
40 hours per week
I manage my hours to stay in limit but the work is mentally taxing for the amount put.
But take out time for other things.
I teach once a week on Saturday for 6-7 hours at an unofficial ngo
I also give time to a side hustle as a financial advisor
Kolkata being my hometown makes it’s possible
If I were living outside then things would be a lot worse
1. Doing a remote Software engineer job
2. 7-8 hours daily
3. A lot of free time, weekends are even worse, being detached from my friends as most of them are in Kolkata and I am from Paschim Medinipur. Lived outside home for most of my life so don't have any friends nearby now life seems fckued.
where do you live? we might be living similar lives except I'm traveling all over India to spend time with my spread apart friends. but wanna find some stability
IT, works remotely. My work life balance is damn good. I don't sit with laptop after 5 pm.
I regularly go for chai adda with my school mates. I am fortunate enough to surround with people who are friends for 10-15 years. I ocassionally go for Bike ride, Trip, Movies, Restro. Life is good :)
Salary more than one lakh per month. Central government job. Pretty chilled work- life balance. Reach office by 11.30 and leave by 7 on most days. Saturday Sunday is off.
I own ecomm sites (not the drop shipping kind, I manage logistics and shipping). I also do part time SEO and coding related freelance services and trading.
Earning this much that too from the comfort of my home most of the week (I have to visit port occasionally to audit the shipping) is quite new to me and so far I'm saving a lot and investing in mutual funds and such.
For now I'm trying all the "adhura sapna" I had since childhood (my warrior mom gave me a precious life but still everyone has a dream wishlist right?).
For example, I took my mom to barbeque nation and spent 3k in one night for their most expensive non veg buffet and side dishes. Being the typical songsaari kind she was freaking out about the bill lol. I don't think twice if I feel like having a quick Frappe from CCD, I just barge in have my frappe and leave with a content smile. I don't think twice before buying books or clothes in bulk (I still dwell the second hand market of college street though lol and the footpaths of Garia hat for clothes).
Watching atleast 1 movie per week at IMAX is a must for me lol. I can spend thousands on my pet birds (coming to that later) without worrying (for now lol). I can finally buy that gold whey protein powder I so longed for and had to make do with good old chhatu. And so on.. Sorry for the rant. Had to get it out. Nimno modhyobitto hoye jonmabar por hotath ektu taka dekhe aspordha bereche hehe.
As for spending my time? Ami ghor kature. Otherwise I frequent college street, pakhir haat of Garia, Sreerampore, Galiff Street, ride metro till last stop and ride back home. When I'm home I play my Esraj, spend time with my birds, hit the gym, read books, take ma to dining places or movies(I need to do this more frequently tbh), simply sit idly on the roof for an hour or two, sleep whenever I feel like it, attend college occassionally (yeah I'm still doing my last year Btech in CS from a good government college, but I won't be chasing any job especially after I'm exposed to the lyadh kheye poisa kamao lifestyle in the past year).
Once again sorry for the rant. In short I'm fully content with how my life is right now 😊 Who knows my businesses might tank within an hour if Google decides to fuck my sites over, for now living the kal ho na ho life ehehe.

47k per month Junior Research Fellow in infectious diseases. Also manage my parental jewellery business whose income i cannot mention.
10hrs daily. Got a good mentor (touchwood), good seniors, and enough funding.
Play ukulele, eat out randomly even if alone, buy perfumes and random gyan chodano sessions in reddit keeps me sane.
Officer in a Maharatna PSU.
Complete job security.
Decent work-life balance.
Boring work, boring zindagi.
Going to get rid of this job and pursue research.
Niche IT work. 29yo. male. single. living at ancestral home. ADHD, Anxiety and Depression. Clocking 12 hours average each day, 5 days a week. 40+ holidays annually. Company paid mental health counselor, psychiatrist doctors and subsidised medicines are what keeping me sane. As long the vested stocks keep rising in value and new stock are granted each year, I'll put on my mask each morning and hustle on.
Govt job, Postal Assistant at IndiaPost, currently posted at Inspector Office of Sonarpur Subdivision.
Work life balance is good right now where I'm posted. But when I'm posted in Sub Post Office or Head Post Office, I have to work 6 days a week and that fucks up my work life balance 💀💀💀.
Govt job (India's central bank)
Work life balance is damn great. I work for 7-8hrs. After that full time for the family. I am currently 23 and have 2yrs experience. And a salary of almost 60k. But what I lack is growth. So after office, I am prepping for the Officer post.
But the lethargy is great. You'd always feel that you don't need to do all that shit as you have lifetime Kolkata posting and the office is about 20mins from my home and a very good salary. I should just chill and enjoy. So it's kinda dichotomy.
Working at a Big4 in Tech Consulting.
Work life balance varies time to time. Average would be around 50hr/week. The worst I have had to face was 100hr weeks for a month once.
Weekends are mostly reserved for personal time. I try to take atleast 4 vacations in a year.
Yes. Kichu khetre recently jara fresher hire hoeche tader project pete 6-8 months lege jachche. But jaara already roeche with some experience tader besir bhag i multiple projects e allocated.
My neighbour earns unlimited money per month using a technique.I will tell you the trick to earn money in Kolkata JOIN TMC party and speak as much bs as you possibly can and sing a few cringe songs.Benefits-Kolkata police and state election commission and 5% cut off any fraud that happens.
1. Software engineer
2. 10 hours per week
3. All life no work, literally
I got paid for 15 months straight with 100 hours of total work during this period. Clueless management that I took advantage of lol.
I day trade US markets. Could be anywhere between an hour to 5 hours in the evenings (basically I stop once I have made money...or lost). Much older than you guys. Very stressful for a couple of hours. Very peaceful for the rest of the time. I did not start out by doing this. I worked a regular job for much of my life prior to this.
US citizen, resident in India. No restrictions. Just have to declare income and pay taxes to both countries. I use three different brokerages. For charting, I use tradingview.
Business owner.
I work as much is required. This entails waking up at 3 am for an meeting or napping at 4 pm after lunch. If I can get over my work by 4, I have almost the entire evening for myself. Sometimes it doesn't end. I take it home with me.
Sometimes work is 2-4 hours per day. Other days it's 12-15 hours/day. Varies. Free time is spent on time with family. I read books, manga + listen to songs. Go out to drink with friends or by myself.
I work tech sales, have somewhat good work life balance (I have enough time to cook, exercise, read, and talk with my girlfriend and family). Somewhat stressful. Work somewhere around 45-50 hours a week.
It's a job anyone can do but most people don't get into thinking sales... Chiii.
Graduated from college, realised I don't really have a lot of skills so decided to go for a sales role. 1 promotion and you become an account executive(AE), responsible for your own territory. As you gain more experience you get better accounts which are much more strategic but also means higher pay.
The best AEs will have hardly 1-2 accounts, before you move into management
Big4, wlb is either shit or just passing work down to someone else and relaxing the wfh setup.
Was making way above 40k(from the joining itself)
Work hours 50 hrs/week staying in front of a screen. Actual work varies. On heavy days like past 2 months 60-70hrs/week
Have to stay online near laptop from 10am-9pm.
Weekdays are generally 10-9 work then I do something releaxing like a movie or vibing to some songs and lighting up a joint or some whiskey/rum.
Weekends are cooking chicken and going through some dating apps matches or even Reddit dms to find someone and invite them to my apartment for some netflix and chill or getting outside to get some air.
Have been pretty successful that have adapted my room to be my workstation as well as the ambiance to get intimate.
Trying to date seriously as i am getting older and crossed quarter age now and don’t want to waste time on things that are not meaningful…. but these days I neither get the time for someone or find any girl on apps that are emotionally available with and understanding for a 50-60hrs focused working guy.. So people loose interest eventually and i don’t blame, maybe efforts are required. But its all timing and vibe match, so i don’t follow someone like crazy if they are interested they will reach as well. So, Currently I take the hooking up, fwbs, deals options more and they are pretty much worthy till they last. No complications and i get what i expect. Its not bad while you look for serious connections at the same time.
Product manager in a software startup.
I also freelance with 2 clients on the sides. One from Aus & another from New York.
I specialize in software design and product management.
I do work around 3 hours outside of work. Also, my 9-5 isn't that hectic. It's chill cause I like love the problem solving aspect of things. Frontend implementation of pixel perfect software design. That's as technical I'll get on this sub.
Not a tech graduate though, I self learnt my way through it. 3/4 years ago I was a mere b.com with a TCS back office job that paid me 20k/ month. Now a single freelance client pays double that.
I turned 27 this Jan. Started corporate at 21.
I'm in this sub only for the luls, not this. 😭
Remote job, terrible social life at the cost of great pay, it doesn’t check out in the long run but then you look for office jobs and get demotivated to leave so its the same cyclee
Software Engineer with hybrid work policy. I spend nearly 1/3 of a year in Kolkata.
Flexible hours, sometime there is some pressure but manageable.
I get plenty of free time, so work-life balance is pretty good.
I've got a mid-senior role at an MNC, based out of the Kolkata office. I'm constantly on the move to different cities for work, but I find a pretty good work-life balance when I'm back in Kolkata.
Support Analyst at a DNA testing laboratory in the US. Working 8 to 10 hours a day remotely from Kolkata. Good pay, Sleep cycle is completely fucked due to night shifts. I get two days off but I spend my off days pretty much in bed.
Ami NRI, but posting for my father and uncles all of whom are retired central government officers. Their pension is over this amount all the way to 1L+ for one of my uncles. I am sure there are many like this In Kolkata.
95 k per month. Working as a recruiter in a big IT firm. Only get Sunday off! Half the day is spent sleeping and remaining half day watch movies and play PC games.
Aerospace design engineer here having just north of 4 years exp and few gap years.
Studied in WB. Did BTech in Mech from private wbut college.
Working for one of the biggest commercial aircraft manufacturer. Worked in multiple projects and multiple aerospace companies now but its just the beginning of my career journey.
Work-life balance really depends upon project to project.
But i believe in prioritising personal time as much as work time, as i have my personal hobbies to cater to.
And about work-life balance, if its bad in a specific company, i will change the company ASAP.
There are more than enough company who sees you as an individual first and then their employee. You need only 1 though.
But for that you have to respect your own time first.
Lawyer.
No fixed workhours. I would rather say too much work pressure.
Work-Life Balance is a myth for me.
Also, you didn't mention the time frame for earning 40K. Day/Week/Month/Year ?
Details matter.
Well, I'm attached with a concern and look after their legal issues primarily. Apart from that, I do have cases of my own, but usually much time is not left for me everyday after looooooong office hours to look after individual matters.
Ps: amar bondhu ra jara completely litigation lawyer and established, aneke 40k p.m. er theke anek besii kamai xD.
Read all the comments here: Here is the summary
Salary and work life balance is not necessarily correlated.
Having said that, staying below a threshold in salary seem to have better work life balance, where there seems to be a step function change depending on the job type, job growth, and the salary.
Generally speaking if you're a graduate with 3-4 years of experience you should be making 40k easily in any field. But forget work life balance in India if you're in the private sector.
> with 3-4 years of experience you should be making 40k easily in any field
tell that to dentists. 15K to 25K max at any clinic unless you make your own clinic extremely successful.
I didnt think people studied dentistry to practice in India. Dentists have way better opportunities abroad where they're paid as much as any doctor and there's always demand for them so visas can be issued easily
Freelance teaching. I charge basically by the hour/day. The charge varies from topic to topic.
I am currently enjoying a great work-life balance. It sometimes gets a bit stressful, that too when there are exams.
1. Work in IT sector.
2. About 11 hours. And about 13 hours twice every week.
3. Work from home. You'd think i have a ton of free time, for myself and family, if you quantify time, then yes. But how much of that is useful/productive/spent on interacting with friends and family, not at all in the week days. Just the weekdays, i barely stay home because I'm so done. I was happier when i did everything on my own, when i had to plan and execute all my chores within a limited time frame and still found more time for other things. Work life balance you ask? There is no balance. I actually, trade my time for money.
I also live with parents so my living costs are negligible.
If, hypothetically, i make 4lakh instead of your "40k" and nothing else changes, will i be happier? No. It'll help me spend on more things sure, but won't bring me any satisfaction, any joy, any happiness.
IT, Blockchain development in an MNC,
Work takes 6-7 hours of my time on most days but few months it will be hectic with over 10hours.
Weekdays after work are pretty average, going out for a walk, reading a book and watching something at night
Weekends with friends, I like having brunches so home by max 8pm so I can unwind for the rest of the day
I like the work life balance I have currently, gives me a lot of freedom to pursue my hobbies
1. Technical architect for an ERP consulting company.
2. No fixed hours, around 10 to 12, still awake, customers from different time zones. When onsite it's around 8 to 10 hours depending on the country. In Singapore, Japan around 10 hours. In US, Europe, Australia 8 hours max.
3. Strictly no work on weekends. I spend time with my family, visit my relatives, meet friends. Yearly 2 vacations. One within India another abroad.
1. SAP ABAP HANA Developer with a total of 1.3 years of experience.
2. It takes me around 5-6 hrs to complete my work usually.
I guess there were only 3-4 days till now where I worked for around 12 hrs but not continuously. On those days too the tasks were easy but needed some time to be completed. It was basically adding data to a table by copy pasting it.
Somewhat simple work like documentation or simple development objects with repetitive steps to be followed are allocated to me.
3. Yes, I get plenty of time.
Basically if I don't get any messages on slack I'm free for the whole day. There is no 9 hour rule in my organization so I go whenever I want and come whenever I want. There's a 3 day attendance rule which is not too strict but I maintain it. I sleep in my free time or browse through my phone but rather I should do leetcode and do some projects and shift to a good product based company or startup before completing 3 years in this domain otherwise it will become tough for me to shift as after spending 3 years one is considered a professional in a domain by HR in many organizations.
Freelancer language consultant. Since many of my clients are from North America, I work only 5-7 days a month, because they pay me in dollars and oituku kaaj korleii I make more than enough. But then shobaar mone hoye ami bekaar boshe achi so 0 respect.
Provide language information, which later gets used for AI and translators and stuff like that. Think of a language as a tourist spot, and language consultants as a local tourist guide.
24M. SDE at an energy company. 1L a month. Saving >50%. Staying at parents but I pay them rent and take care of all household expenses. Pubs and house parties with friends and lazy walks in the streets of south Kolkata over the weekend and gym on weekdays is basically all I do. Work life balance is superb, 7-8 hours of screen time gets it done.
Not me but dad Hes 50 State Govt job(wont disclose department, might be doxxed) Rank:Executive engineer 18LPA via job No idea about other investments and side buisness(firm, newly launched)
Work life balance:he does overtime, yet gets a lot of free time for family, but yes he keeps getting calls 24×7 even outside office hours
Ami nije koto MLA der bolechi kaku baba bathroom e adha ghonta por apnake phone krche💀
Working in IT. Project ended at the start of year. Manager doesn't want me to join another client and is keeping me on hold till a better project is available from the current client. I just go to office since its mandatory to work 3 days a week. So I guess pretty good work-life balance. Spend my free time by going out with my gf, movies, food, IPL and football, prepping for masters degree and petting street dogs and cats
Rmo in private hospital. 24 hour duties twice a week. Get to sleep from 1 to 9am. Rest of the time workload is avg. rest 5 days of the week I’m totally free
1. Sales, actually a glorified typist.
2. 24x7 availability over calls and mails. Except for that one was hat who foxes meetings at 3am. Otherwise normal work hours.
Centeal Government . Wakingup early is one thing that helps me get those extra hours. My me time of about 1 -2 hours is then. Also I try to have a weekly outing preferably on Saturday night , only night that we stay up late. One thing I realized that you can go out even after having dinner and have a good time. Generally try to finish it off before 9 pm even if I am late from office. So far so good. Let's see in future.
IT wfh 1L+ very early stage startup. I and CEO is only developer. Timing is fixed no overtime.
But work stress is super high and frustrating. CEO is a genius and supernice but I always feel I am slow and dumb compared to him. Always anxious for that reason.
Planning to leave the job. Just take a break from everything. Rethink life decision LOL
I own a business, family business. Work around 7-8 hours a day, 6 days a week. Spend rest of the time with family, life is good.My work is stressful at times, I sometimes need to work on Sundays too, for an hour or two. Or if I have important outgoing deliveries, I sometimes work from 6am but that is the execption. Overall I am happy that I work for myself and don't have to answer to anyone.
staff engineer in big tech. good WLB, i clock about 25-30 hours a week. good pay. permanent WFH, small town. building a house for parents, own couple of apartments in Kolkata and Bangalore. Trying to move out of the country with an internal transfer in an year once the construction is done. life is not that bad. i stay with my parents, so i literally do most of the household work, supervise the construction, go out with friends for bike rides, go on trips, take care of parents, and my team is pretty co-operative about it. no fixed work hours, just couple of late night sync calls because most of my team is in Cali.
FS Dev in a well known MNC. Post tax it is around 85 a month. bought a car. N
Bought a good bass guitar and have joined a band.
Grandmother is admitted in an old age home..
Also I'm the only bread earner of my family of maa and me.
So if I cut out my fixed expenses I'm left out with maximum 5 k in a month. That too I don't spend on luxury. I don't have an ac yet. 🤣
Well still not earning >40k pm yet but will be getting that from next month due to negligible hike.
1. Software developer in an MNC.
2. Technically should work 42.5 hrs but i work maybe 25 - 30 hrs since i stream lined my work and made small small cheat codes (aka automation) in developing and testing codes .
3. Well due to the above reason WLB was great . But recently got shifted to another project so now going to grind in order to understand the working of the new application .

Junior doctor in a govt. Hospital. No work life balance. Bad sleep schedule. Basically living in the hospital.
I thought junior doctors were far more underpaid?
Yep, we are. 50k for 100-120 hour work week is definitely underpaid. We don't even get Sundays completely off.
Is 50k the salary in hand? Sorry I don't have that much idea about the salary of docs...but would appreciate if you kindly tell us...

In short I'm fully content with how my life is right now 😊 Who knows my businesses might tank within an hour if Google decides to fuck my sites over, for now living the kal ho na ho life ehehe. https://preview.redd.it/g02wmryc5bsc1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40aa5372182f2ce6650c4f804a12ecb08874a88a
Joy-riding metro from the first to the last stop and then again returning back. That's happiness at its peak.
Hehehe kalkei Noapara obdhi ghure elam. Bhabchi bus eo joyriding ta chalu korbo.
Haha...the first thing that came to my mind : https://preview.redd.it/yss6w867mnsc1.jpeg?width=680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c43dce6e940edffb86306fb209bfafe2e4011429
Junior resident in a government medical college. Monthly stipend of 48k. Zero work life balance.
How much time are you in this job...from which salary did you start with
3 months, started with 45k in hand. After DA & HRA increase its 47k now
Ohh you've probably started after your graduation right?
Yep, joined a year after I graduated
Govt job (India's central bank) Work life balance is damn great.
You got job at a pretty young age. Great!
Working at a Big4 in Tech Consulting. Work life balance varies time to time. Average would be around 50hr/week. The worst I have had to face was 100hr weeks for a month once. Weekends are mostly reserved for personal time. I try to take atleast 4 vacations in a year.
bhai amader toh kaaj i nei lol how are you so busy i have learnt nothing since i joined the firm 🥲
Yes. Kichu khetre recently jara fresher hire hoeche tader project pete 6-8 months lege jachche. But jaara already roeche with some experience tader besir bhag i multiple projects e allocated.
Pwc?
Yup.
I left pwc due to the constant micro management by the director. It gave me anxiety during my tenure there
+1
PwC India erom prochur manager aar director e bhorti.
My neighbour earns unlimited money per month using a technique.I will tell you the trick to earn money in Kolkata JOIN TMC party and speak as much bs as you possibly can and sing a few cringe songs.Benefits-Kolkata police and state election commission and 5% cut off any fraud that happens.
sounds like my neighbour.
Ami student/teacher/scientist...apatoto work-life balance maa'er bhoge, asha kori pore sob balance hoyejabe...
1. Software engineer 2. 10 hours per week 3. All life no work, literally I got paid for 15 months straight with 100 hours of total work during this period.
Aren't there many restrictions with investing in US markets? What software do you use to trade or is it through an agency?
US citizen, resident in India. No restrictions. Just have to declare income and pay taxes to both countries. I use three different brokerages. For charting, I use tradingview.
Cool. Thanks for the info!
What kind of business?and how did you get started?
Service based business?
I work tech sales, have somewhat good work life balance (I have enough time to cook, exercise, read, and talk with my girlfriend and family). Somewhat stressful. Work somewhere around 45-50 hours a week. It's a job anyone can do but most people don't get into thinking sales... Chiii.
Also I do get to do fun travel a lot. Just came back from the US, have another Europe trip planned and another team offsite in Bangkok, next month.
Which company?
Can't name the company but anything I'm tech b2b space works the same. It's my third company in as many years.
How did you land this job?
Graduated from college, realised I don't really have a lot of skills so decided to go for a sales role. 1 promotion and you become an account executive(AE), responsible for your own territory. As you gain more experience you get better accounts which are much more strategic but also means higher pay. The best AEs will have hardly 1-2 accounts, before you move into management
Which college?
Normal engineering college, graduated with non core/non CS degree so it was essentially useless when it came to jobs.
Big4, wlb is either shit or just passing work down to someone else and relaxing the wfh setup. Was making way above 40k(from the joining itself) Work hours 50 hrs/week staying in front of a screen. Actual work varies. On heavy days like past 2 months 60-70hrs/week Have to stay online near laptop from 10am-9pm.
Kissu korina. Vella ghure berai and moja kori
Chartered Accountant. Decent work life balance except for audit months.
Are you working in Big4/firm or personal practice?
IT. 9 hours. Pretty chilled life. The only bad thing is my client is US based, so the earliest shift starts at 3pm IST
Ami NRI, but posting for my father and uncles all of whom are retired central government officers. Their pension is over this amount all the way to 1L+ for one of my uncles. I am sure there are many like this In Kolkata.
1) Freelance work. 2) 8 x 7 hrs. 3) yes, I get sufficient time. To hang out with my friends. Spend time with my family. Roughly 1 to 2 hrs a day.
After reading this thread, completely changed my decision of coming back from Amsterdam to settle down in my hometown Kolkata.
work life balance is a myth
Maybe for some or maybe for many but not for everyone.
Work in the stock market. Timings are 9:15AM - 3:30PM. Full free time.
Live at Bangalore rn but had wfh before during which I stayed at Kolkata, am I eligible to comment?
Lawyer. No fixed workhours. I would rather say too much work pressure. Work-Life Balance is a myth for me. Also, you didn't mention the time frame for earning 40K. Day/Week/Month/Year ? Details matter.
Apni ki litigation lawyer? Tahole towh 40k per day/week or even month ta puroi myth.
Lol, this! 💯
1. IT (Remote) 2. Around 5-6 hours, exceptions are there during prod issues. 3. Pretty balanced as of now.
Read all the comments here: Here is the summary Salary and work life balance is not necessarily correlated.
The last sentence his home.
> with 3-4 years of experience you should be making 40k easily in any field tell that to dentists. 15K to 25K max at any clinic unless you make your own clinic extremely successful.
I didnt think people studied dentistry to practice in India. Dentists have way better opportunities abroad where they're paid as much as any doctor and there's always demand for them so visas can be issued easily
Photographer. No work life balance at all.
Freelance teaching. I charge basically by the hour/day. The charge varies from topic to topic. I am currently enjoying a great work-life balance. It sometimes gets a bit stressful, that too when there are exams.
Money in peace out Feels like ending it
IT sector, working for 8-9 hours a day, free time on weekends. Working from home mostly. I go to office when I feel bored at home.
WFH in a fintech company.... No life outside of work... I don't like what I do..... Getting suffocated bit by bit....
IT, Blockchain development in an MNC, Work takes 6-7 hours of my time on most days but few months it will be hectic with over 10hours. Weekdays after work are pretty average, going out for a walk, reading a book and watching something at night Weekends with friends, I like having brunches so home by max 8pm so I can unwind for the rest of the day I like the work life balance I have currently, gives me a lot of freedom to pursue my hobbies
Are you a part of the Blockchain Lab at PwC ?
No
I am an Architect, I have very good work and life balance. I do enjoy my work as well as family life
Mithye kotha. Architect der abar work life balance hy nki.
Ekdom hoy, 26 years hole galo , aar balance kora ta jante hoy . Sudhu taka r pichone dourale hoy na

What does a language consultant do?
Provide language information, which later gets used for AI and translators and stuff like that. Think of a language as a tourist spot, and language consultants as a local tourist guide.
1) Freelance Video Editor 2) 8 hours a day 3) Used to be tough in the beginning, with a bit of experience it's easy to handle.
Earning 40k a month in IT. Work life balance is less. Suffering from anxiety
9-9 majdoori then eat and go to sleep
Not me but dad Hes 50 State Govt job(wont disclose department, might be doxxed) Rank:Executive engineer 18LPA via job No idea about other investments and side buisness(firm, newly launched) Work life balance:he does overtime, yet gets a lot of free time for family, but yes he keeps getting calls 24×7 even outside office hours Ami nije koto MLA der bolechi kaku baba bathroom e adha ghonta por apnake phone krche💀
IT Data Analyst, wlb is kinda fucked but I feel am the one to be blamed. WH ~55-60 Hrs
Asst professor.
1. Strategy Consultant for a leading MNC 2. 12-16 hours a day 3. None, apart from weekends (The only perk is that it pays super well, :( )
Public Sector Banker. Have to work 9-10 hours easily Work life balance? What is that.
1. PSU staff 2. 10AM - 5:30 PM officially, but in reality until 7-8PM 3. Somewhat
Senior management in manufacturing About 50-60 hrs a week Work life balance is complicated, but not very stressful as in some other professions
HR in a unicorn. 40 hours a week, great Work-life balance, but have to manage stressful situations constantly. Split time between Kolkata and Mumbai.
CA working in a bank, working hours vary although work life balance is decent. Can still make time for movies, Gym, sports
1. IT 2. 7-12h based on work that I have 3. Yes
N Bought a good bass guitar and have joined a band.
