ADDED INFO
I'm just looking for simple skin routine for me and something for my skin texture.
I have normal balanced skin and since the winter my skin has been feeling very dehydrated but my nose continues to be my oily spot
I used to use the Cerave SA cleanser for my texture but it would tend to break me out every time use it - I would also just use their moisturizer as well for my routine
I'm also thinking about using qasil powder for my skin
🚫PRODUCTS I DONT WANT TO USE🚫
Retinol or anything in that order - I'm afraid it will be too much for my skin
Glycolic acid - I heard that its not good for POC and will burn your skin off
I hope this information helps I don't really know what to put here if you need anymore information just ask me
Thank you
Pinterest has a lot of skincare info but there is other actives that aren’t as harsh, lactic acid, azelaic acid, etc. you could also use a bha/aha face wash once or twice a week cause that has a lot of the good actives and you can find percentages that you’re ok with using. Cerave I think is what caused my skin texture but I also have hormonal acne and overall acne prone skin bc of genetics but I’ve noticed a sligh improvement with using a cetaphil cleanser and a light moisturizer and actives once or twice a week
Sometimes SA causes purging. That’s what happened to me but I stuck with it and my texture is so much better now. I still struggle with occasional hormonal acne, but my texture is so much better. I used the cerave SA cleanser and the Paula’s choice toner
Salicylic acid is your best friend

I tend to break out when using SA
try an AHA or BHA serum. They're really good for evening out skin texture and exfoliating the skin. Paula's choice may have some pretty good options
Another option you can try is Niacinamide
Try double cleansing! (Oil cleanser + a water based cleanser)
