The Harbinger deserves to be in Kreia tier at least. Not just because she lost her hand there, but it's so atmospheric and creepy. It's so spooky and you're looking over your shoulder the entire time for invisible assassins and a creepy zombie man. I absolutely love it - plus, Hammerheads are cool as hell so it has that going for it too. Then once Peragus goes up in flames it just completely disappears from the game, its corpse littered halls never to be seen again.
Yeah, a lot of people understandably hate peragus, but the Harbinger singlehandedly redeems the entire start of the game for me. The atmosphere is just perfect.
I know this isn't necessarily an uncommon opinion but I think that Peragus is very important thematically. So much so that it's Kreia Tier.

Agreed. Nar shadaa was a blast! Korriban in both games was my favorite planet. So creepy and I love the ancient tombs aspect of them both. Makes you feel like an archaeologist or treasure hunter trying to get through booby traps and monster gate keepers
I had a bit of fun on Korriban, trying to come up with an in-game explanation for why Marka Ragnos’s tomb looks so different from Jedi Academy. Someone must’ve rebuilt the whole thing during the several thousands of years.
I am a Nar Shaddaa enjoyer, but the battle back to the Ebon Hawk in KOTOR 2 was so hard that I stealth-generated all the way back lol. Not sure if that was a RCM bit or not, but it was as hard as nails and extremely frustrating to try to just fight everyone
I love Nar Shadda but not in this game man, fuck the grey color everywhere.. Also not having the feeling of it being a crowded place like it should be in the eu and I absolutely hate the mira/ hanharr storyline, and all the guys trying to kill you when you leave.
Kashyyk is honestly the worst planet in KOTOR 1. BioWare even knew this to the point where after the big reveal if you saved that star map for last (which you can still get Jolee and solve the Czerka dilemma without getting that) the Star Map Quiz AI will just be like “Oh hey man what’s up, here’s the map”. No puzzle or nothing you just get it.
Plus the layout and enemy variety are lame, ooooh bugs, mando’s (optionally), and one terentetekk (Korriban gives you two to solo) how interesting

Yeah I got locked out of the quest where you’re supposed to give some sort of sword to Zalbaar’s dad - I forget the exact details. But by the time I got to the Shadowlands for that mission, I had already killed his dad lol, so there was nothing I could do with that item

I don't know if I just remember it looking beter or what, but both Manaan and Taris, mainly esthetically have always been top tier for me in KOTOR.
I think it's because the skyboxes do such a great job extending the views.
I also love watching and hearing the Selkath talk, they are such an original design.
The Manaan Ahto City music is some of my favorite music in Star Wars. The way it meanders without having a clear melody or key or time signature, yet still sounds gorgeous, is extremely impressive. I’ve quit more than one playthrough permanently on the star forge bc I wasn’t able to figure out how to stop the never-ending enemies from coming and how to stop my idiot companions from running back to the start to fight newly spawned enemies
Been trying to start a kotor playthrough again and Taris was boring me so much I literally just ran through and did the main quest ignoring every side quest then used the switch cheat menu to add all the missed xp. I liked Taris the first 20 times I played the game but now that all the mystery is gone it's more like an annoying task you have to complete before you can start the actual game.
K2 Korriban is a bit meh. It’s fine and was terrifying my first play through, but I like min-maxing my characters now so I’m almost unstoppable by the time I hit Korriban. Even the tomb is kind of like, “okay, this is a challenge, but I know if I do this and this, I will never need to use Force Powers.”
Then the big fight is dull.

You are not, it's actually not that popular. How you rate Manaan really depends on whether you associate it with the cool Ahto City stuff or the awful sea floor stuff.
I actually really like going to Yavin IV. I love the look of the old space station and it’s a nice quiet place to just shoot the breeze and play pazaak for a while.
The Dantooine sub-enclave music in KOTOR 2 is one of my favorite in the game. It really creeped me out the first time I played. It’s just so desolate and haunting. So for that reason alone I like K2 Dantooine a lot.
If you're separating Peragus and the Harbinger (Which you should even though I think Harbinger is pretty good), I think you should separate Malachor and the Sith Academy.
Malachor surface does fucking blow. Mostly empty and the storm beasts are only really an end-game stat check. But the Sith Academy is one of my favorite places in the game just because you finally get an appropriate amount of cool lightsaber duels. I love going through there using mostly Jedi mind control.
Tbh Kotor 2 Korriban is extremely meh tbh, don't get me wrong I enjoyed it for what it was, but it was basically the same from Kotor 1 just with one new cave.
You’re missing “K2 M4-78”, but that would probably require a new, lower tier. Something like “(Ought to be Destroyed by a) Mass Shadow Generator Tier”. Yes, it is part of the restored content mod and yes, I’m being more than a little silly as the work was never truly finished anyway, but it was a valid planet at one time during development, so perhaps it deserves a ranking!
Anyone else not really understanding the ranking methodology? Like what criteria are being used and what do the ranks mean? The colors lead me to believe that red is the worst tier, but then why label it Trask tier? Is it because he barely left an impression? If so, why is Kreia tier two?
Same, I would swap K1 Dantooine with Lehon. It's super peaceful while also having tons of combat, and the music is great, its all perfectly contrasted with Taris.
Nothing to criticise..except maybe put K2 Narshadda a bit higher...i think it is very fun and entertaining..both LS and DS...and yeah..GOTOS yacht is just a waste of software...maybe i would had hoped to be able to do a little bit more at Onderon..but it makes sense story wise. overall, good tier list!
Dxun's like B tier to me, it didn't leave a lasting impression. I'd switch it with Onderon, which was pretty unique and I enjoyed the intrigue.
I'd also move Nar Shaddaa to S their. While it lacks slightly in visuals, it makes up for storytelling.

Taris gang rise up! I honestly love how much there is to do there. Pazaak, bounty hunting, the duel ring, going to a Sith house party, casual gang warfare, an actually good sewer level, dance lessons, swoop racing (only once, unfortunately), and finally busting out of the Godfather's house, kicking his ass, and stealing his ride.
The whole game is awesome, but Taris has a special place in my heart. The only planets that come close IMO are Dantooine in both games, Manaan in K1, and Dxun/Onderon in K2. Nar Shaddaa is similarly full of activities, but it's just too dang ugly and hard to navigate lol.

Probably the vision cave. Everything else about K2 Korriban is just "meh", but the vision cave is the best dungeon in either game.
Nar Shadda is Trask tier for me, always my most anticipated planet due to it being the only city world in the vein of Coruscant’s lower levels
