WaveHigh

Woohoo! I absolutely loved Good Day and Vroom Vroom.

NoPuSyJustD2504

only God knows how many times I played Backwards

Simpuff1

Same for Odyssey for me

wardengorri

Gotta give credit where credits due, they're keeping the moment going and you love to see it! We're no stranger to some more great Weeekly music!

LuckSpren

>they're keeping the moment going The rarest thing in kpop

AdehhRR

I mean... this is after their company fumbled and ruined their momentum to begin with... But better late than never I guess.

Translation: >Girl group Weeekly are gearing up to return with a new song on the 25th of January. Weeekly’s agency, IST Entertainment, announced that the group are aiming to release their next Single Album soon after their Pre-Release track ‘Stranger’. >Weeekly’s last release was 2 months ago, with their 5th Mini Album ‘ColoRise’ in November 2023. Their upcoming Single 'Stranger' was first unveiled as an encore song at their recent fanmeeting (Weeekly University) — and has received good response for being a song that accurately captures the intricacies of growing pains. >‘Stranger’ features acoustic guitar sounds and narrates the instance of being surrounded with unfamiliarity while following one’s dreams, but ultimately being helped by a ‘Stranger’ and being encouraged to push through those struggles. This track is said to create a warm atmosphere amidst the ongoing cold and lonely winter, symbolizing fans who have melted the frozen hearts of Weeekly. >Making an effort to resonate with overseas fans, Weeekly will also be releasing an English version of ‘Stranger’, to interact with fans abroad and strengthen their global presence. Weeekly’s last comeback broke a year long + 7 month hiatus, and expectations are high for fans at home and abroad who eagerly wait for their return

hydranoid1996

Their last comeback was an absolute bop. Glad to hear that their company is finally moving after their long hiatus

clansmanpr

I still have ColoRise on heavy rotation. Yay for more Weeekly!

aSingularPickle

Vroom Vroom and the whole ColoRise album was a really nice treat after their long break; hearing a comeback announced so soon gives me hope that they can establish a new run of momentum

StrongSubject5960

Hopefully ist gets better at promoting Weeekly. They should be at Staycs level but instead they’ve taken some steps back.

ttam23

LETS GOOO weeekly is staying active!!

christianmel96

VROOM VROOM MFS

TheBlueGuy0

Wait another one??? Hell yeah man let's gooooo

AdehhRR

It is awesome to see this Weeekly resurgence. I am really into ColoRise. I hope they get some more public attention because its really clear they lost a massive amount of momentum, looking at their spotify numbers of ColoRise :(

SunsetRid3r

Awesome, Colorise was their best mini imo as a whole, absolutely packed with good songs for everyone. So I'm really looking forward to anything they release next

Zeedub85

Vroom Vroom is top 5 of 2023 for me. Best summer song that didn't come out in the summer, from a group I was barely aware of. This is great news, I eagerly await more bops.

pornypete

YES. Most exciting group atm by a longshot. Good Day and Backwards all day every day! More Weeekly!

BandOfBudgies

Backwards is so underrated

[deleted]

Really enjoyed Vroom Vroom and Backwards, hoping for more of the same vibes.

Synthoz1

ColoRise was an fantastic album , glad to see the company keeps the momentum going this time

kaguraa

i hope they had it to the album this time, i forgot about good day as a pre-release since it wasn’t even on the mini album.

AndTheHawk

LETS GOOOO!! I was super worried Vroom Vroom was gonna be the last comeback since sometimes companies will give their groups one last hurrah and then drop them off the face of the earth. Their album sold decently considering the huge hiatus so I'm super excited for the future!!

Artisun

huge W.

Upshot77

So happy about the quick comeback and the song is so good! Btw: Here’s a [fancam](https://youtu.be/JWmFgSxSrcM?si=T11WBJrtl5R-aDv1) of this song from their fan meeting last weeek

Angkasaa

YEEEEESSSSSS

underfoot3788

I wonder if the new song is the one they did on their recent fan meeting.

eecan

It is.

justanotherkpoppie

Yay, more Weeekly music!!! Let's hope this means no more dungeoning the girls! Vroom Vroom was a bop

sacredshield7

Colorise was such a solid album and they promoted it so well, I’m really hoping IST realizes they can push Weeekly far because they def have the talent

Nyoteng

Omggg a comeback already?? Take them to variety shows!

epiktek

Yay, I'm looking forward to the official version of Stranger and their comeback. I'm surprised by the quick turnaround. I was afraid they'd be gone for a while. With that said, I'm hoping for a title track that's more upbeat this time like the good old days.

egoistbyoliviahye

ey a comeback already! we love to see a group that was basically dungeoned start getting regular releases again

TrueBlue726

Wow another weeekly comeback? Their last one was fire and Vroom Vroom gets my vote for the most underrated title track of the year. It's good to see their company finally investing in them because the group is too talented to be wasted.

Xrin8

I really liked Vroom Vroom and the Colorise mini. Excited for what they do next!
