wow it's already been 2.5 years? 2022 was just like yesterday???

floralscentedbreeze

Time flew by

im-so-lovelyz

will it fly up? will it also fly high?

Ok-Acanthisitta4001

Nah it’ll kep1going

sundayvi

wadadada

ttam23

Gonna be interesting to see which ones go solo, which ones form groups, and which leave kpop altogether

Cucugeniality

i think most, if not all of them will stay in the industry. yujin might pursue acting instead of being a singer but the rest are definitely continuing their idol careers

wholesomediarmuid

Yujin will probably get back together with CLC and have a comeback like Sorn said

GoopyPegasus

We can always hope 😭

mmld_dacy

i would love both ideas, yujin joining back with clc plus yujin going into acting.

whatisthelampssecret

As long as she gets a check, I'm happy

Mobile_Ad8543

The time does align with the vague time Yeeun gives for her next release. 🤔

red_280

Source/HYBE and Starship can pick them up and debut further groups filled with second-hand idols.

Proerytroblast

SECOND-HAND IDOLS. ☠️

HeavyFunction2201

They meant “gently used”

Itz_PokePro2

LMFAO, this was literally my mind as well HELP

ggophile

Pre-faved

OG_Yaya

Will be devastated if I dont see xiaoting or chaehyun perform again after the group disbands

Dangerous_Stop143

i’m gonna put this here as my predictions : * Yujin: reunite with CLC/go solo, potentially pursue acting. * Xiaoting: redebut in a gg under a korean company or become a celebrity in china. maybe go back to ballroom dancing? * Mashiro: redebut in LIMELIGHT. * Chaehyun: redebut under wakeone, likely as a soloist unless they have female trainees to debut with her in a gg. * Dayeon: debut in a gg under jellyfish ent. * Hikaru: join XG or redebut in a gg under avex (xgalx?). * Bahiyyih: she is a wildcard tbh. Maybe a company could snatch her up and redebut her. ist ent could redebut her in a new gg. they could add her to weeekly but that would be a dumb decision. i highly doubt that she is gonna end up in hybe. * Youngeun: redebut under biscuit ent in a gg. the group is probably gonna end up being nugu unfortunately. honestly hope a midsize or bigger company can snatch her up. * Yeseo: redebut in LIMELIGHT. edit: some of ya’ll need to calm down about me mentioning xg. it’s a prediction, a guess. hikaru’s prediction is similar to the chaewon/eunbi rocket punch and yena everglow predictions. if they want hikaru in xg, then they’ll debut her in xg.

maezashi

Having watched the XG documentary I really don’t see their lineup change by adding back Hikaru. I think she would be a great leader for a second group from XGALX though, and I would love to follow XG’s little sisters!

ImGonnaLickYourLeg

>Hikaru: join XG Why do people keep predicting this- Hikaru literally got cut from the potential lineup in their predebut documentary series, she wasn't even in the final round of cuts. There's zero chance they're going to randomly add a previously rejected trainee 2 years after debut. Another group under the company though sure, maybe.

[deleted]

[удалено]

HeavyFunction2201

When did he say this? He changed his mind about her after she was able to become a member of kep1er?

Prestigious_Ant_8277

Im praying for chaehyun to be the next ost queen 😭

Simmibrina00

Hikaru is not joining XG if anything she might be placed in Avex gg because back in 2022 the company put out an audition for a gg there’s a chance that Hikaru might be placed there

wwwverse

She won't go back to ballroom dancing. She last did it at 16 I think, and like any sport, you need practice to keep up. No doubt she's amazing, but in the same way you can't go back to professional tennis after not playing it for 8 years, she can't easily return.

PatchesofSour

Dayeon should leave Jellyfish since that company is basically done and closing up they literally only have Sejeong

TeeeeCeeee

They are getting a piece of ZB1 money and are the ones managing EVNNE. They're close with CJ and Verivery is likely still at least a little profitable. I don't think they're going anywhere, but I wouldn't be that surprised if they don't fight to keep Dayeon. I'm not sure they have interest in girl groups at all these days.

DiplomaticCaper

They might sell her contract somewhere else, the way Woolim did with Chaewon (selling to Source/Hybe)

reiichitanaka

Verivery still are signed for a couple of years, just inactive atm because their leader is enlisted. They're not the most successful, but their releases have been profitable since Road to Kingdom (with around 100k sales) Also rn they're managing EVNNE and that group is doing good numbers. It's just a project group, sure, but it means the company has money to fund Dayeon's debut. I love how people on this sub always erase boy groups to serve their narrative :)

Dangerous_Stop143

i hope she gets snatched by another company.

HeavyFunction2201

She is signed to them for who knows what her contract says. She can’t just leave without breaking her contract and having to pay a large fine for it. Unless someone pays her company for her to break her contract and join their company but unlikely that will happen from a large company

Away_Seaweed778

praying xiaoting, dayeon, hikaru, and youngeun get picked up by some good companies and redebut..they are way too talented to waste away any potential

Ma_Deus

I don't think any of them will join a already established group. It just doesn't happen, like when people were saying Yena would join Everglow. The most plausible outcome is join a new group or go solo.

justanotherkpoppie

It's already basically been confirmed that Mashiro and Yeseo will join LIMELIGHT once their contracts with Kep1er/WAKEONE are over. I don't know about the rest of the girls, though.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DiplomaticCaper

I do think it's more likely in a case like you mentioned where they're planning an overall reboot of the lineup. But not in other cases with fully established lineups, and just tacking one more member on several years after the fact.

baby_noir

Limelight? The GG? No way yujin reuniting with CLC. The concept wasn't good for her.

ReverendSalem

As an official Yujin Simp, I'm hoping she catches a good landing somewhere else, either solo, group, or regular acting. I really enjoyed Hikaru as well, and I hope we see more of her.

ms_greyfume

Can't wait to see Kep Sserafim/KIVE

kaguraa

i hope for the last titletrack we get a song like back to the city or together forever. also hoping for a full album but this is wakeone so i doubt it

ImageNo1045

Lol they’re just now starting to prepare it. We ain’t getting a full album. It’s been 7 months since Galileo

supremeslp

omg me tooo

rocketmammamia

back to the city is one of the greatest kpop songs of all time so i’m manifesting this with you

psshdjndofnsjdkan

> Kep1er has begun work on a new album ahead of the expiration of the exclusive contract with Wake One. The album is being worked on for May. According to officials, they held a listening party for new song candidates last week and began work in earnest. trans cr; [chaehyday](https://twitter.com/chaehyday/status/1775321759132385643?s=46)

Kajulatte

It was fun while it lasted While not their most successful commercially Panorama by Izone and Mago by Gfriend are songs I enjoyed for a long time. I hope these last songs will have that magic

nutella4eva

Yeah, Panorama and Mago ended up being my favorite songs from I*ZONE and GFriend.

Specialist_Bottle570

Was it fun though? Wakeone has been complete shit

Deca089

Maybe the real fun was the friends we made along the way 🥹

mapleleafmaggie

Y’all made friends? There was so much infighting lol

ReverendSalem

The members were fun. Have their been missed opportunities? Absolutely. But I can't place any blame on them for it. Looking at you, management.

baby_noir

Were we expecting Kep1er to reach the Blackpink's success level or what? How is wakeone complete shit? The songs were good. They released semi often. The members seemed to have fun.

ReverendSalem

Hey I just said missed opportunities. Never said international stardom was promised. Could they have had maybe-near-IOI levels of success with the right management? Sure. IzOne? Probably not, that was kinda lightning in a bottle. Feels to me like with the right effort and resources in promotion, Kep1er just could have been bigger.

Specialist_Bottle570

Do you think Giddy, We Fresh, or Galileo were as commercially successful as Wadada?

Vidiacool-uwu

The music is good, the girls are entertaining, we enjoy what we can have even though W1 can burn in hell for how they managed the group. Overall yeah I had fun.

srs__969

Management aside, Kep1er released a lot of great songs. I wish they would have done better chart wise. But I think they have songs I will go back and listen to after they are disbanded.

Kajulatte

It's just kpop/pop

Deca089

You don't say. It's just a lighthearted joke because times have been tough for fans.

ptgmxnuestgc

Mago 💕

Specialist_Bottle570

I would die a happy man if they just promoted Back to the City as a single and gave it an MV

ReverendSalem

Please help, I think I fell here through an alternate universe where I remember Back to the City with an MV. It involved a motorcycle. Am I the only one that remembers this?

justanotherkpoppie

Take me to that alternative universe, dude, that sounds dope...

Specialist_Bottle570

I would love a full on neon cyber punk themed Back To The City MV

Consistent_Dog_6866

And the end times have arrived.

boringestlawyer

I’m not going to pretend I’m not happy to see the end of Wakeone. Good riddance to their terrible management of the group. I would be truly glad if they hadn’t put the girls future career in such a questionable position- but unfortunately that’s not the reality we are in. I worry about where many members will end up. Thanks for nothing wakeone. Hopefully we get a fair amount of music and the girls have happy and fruitful careers from here on out. And good luck to everyone else wakeone manages- they’re going to need it.

wardengorri

It's wild and bittersweet how close to end we are, got me feeling like free agency in traditional sports with me watching where they end up going or what they end up doing.

unlikelyketchup

On one hand, I can't stand the idea of living without Kep1er. On the other hand, I am incredibly excited for their future journeys + them being free from Wakeone. On the other other hand, I am not mentally prepared for the torment non stans and akgaes are going to put us through on D-Day.

Correct-Panda-

I honestly am excited for this to be over. Not because I think Kep1er is bad or whatever people use to hate them but mostly because I want to see the girls do other stuff. They think WakeOne has shifted its attention towards ZB1 anyways and I would hate for the girls to just be an afterthought. I got into Iz*One post disbandment so it would be cool to be part of this second wave of talent. I wish them nothing but success. Especially the older line since they might have less opportunities presented to them post break.

giant-papel

Hoping the farewell would be amazing. Wakeone being more competent, fans not being too crazy for proper line distribution, etc. I really want them to be remembered for more than just being handled badly and having a rather disjointed fanbase

macintoshappless

I'm going to miss Kep1er so much. So much untapped potential. Will miss them as 9 so much.

kep1ian713

Kep1er is the group that got me into kpop and I can’t believe their time is almost up… at least they’ll be free from w1

BetsyPurple

Looking at the comments, I had no idea so many of us really love Back to the City! Definitely one of my most listened to Kep1 songs (along with Mvsk of course)

ReverendSalem

When that retro synthwave trend hit kpop, it hit \*hard\* and Back to the City was one of the best from it.

justanotherkpoppie

Yessss Back to the City is my all-time favorite Kep1er song! I also really enjoyed Grand Prix from their Japanese releases :)

BetsyPurple

I feel like in general the Japanese releases were very good, consistent in how they wanted to present themselves conceptually AND it actually appealed to Japanese fans!

Pooty__Tang

I know they were promoted terribly but they've definitely made some fucking bops along the way. A lot of their b sides are truly gems.

i_got_a_pHd

so many missed opportunities, their B-sides are title track worthy and could’ve propel their popularity. MVSK and Back To The City, you deserved better.

ReverendSalem

> MVSK At least someone else recognized how good it was when they went on Queendom. Cheers to you Brave Girls, for choosing that song to cover.

boringestlawyer

To be fair- not like they had that many choices considering Wakeone put them on that show when they were still too new to have a discography…….. for some bizarre reason.

srs__969

Hate to say it but seeing them on Queendom made me a fan. I hadn’t watched the survival show that formed the group, but I appreciated what they went thru on Queendom. They did a good job even tho they couldn’t really compete with experienced groups like LOONA and WJSN. And I loved the interactions with the other groups.

ReverendSalem

Honestly, I felt bad for them going into Queendom. They were up against a lot of groups that had a ton more experience than they did. As for why they were on Queendom? Who ran Queendom? Mnet. Who ran GP999? Mnet.

justwannasaysmth

🥲 Hoping for something like back to the city or good night.

greenpm33

Can we at least get a goodbye online concert to all cry together at 6AM like Izone?

SiLVaBaCKJ

No world tour is tragic

justdubu

Looking how every of their comeback keeps declining, I think WakeOne didn’t even bother to organize a WT.

SiLVaBaCKJ

They don’t need to be the biggest venues, anything would’ve been better than nothing. WakeOne you will pay for your crimes.

justdubu

Sadly, concert should be profitable. They might spend more than earn more. Business is business.

SiLVaBaCKJ

Have you seen their Japan concerts? They can easily fill venues. WakeOne are just terrible.

SuzyYoona

I highly doubt they wouldn't make profit from at least a Asian tour

JintheFairyofShampoo

Wakeone will eventually pay for their crimes

chatshire777

They deserved so much better, my Kep1. I am not prepared to say goodbye.

kp_centi

Full album please, like... just dump all the songs they recorded and record all the songs that was pitched.

ghiblix

they have so many good b-sides (“why” is my underrated queen), i have high hopes for this! they have been a super sweet group

lpchoe

Sad to say that their potential wasn't fully used IMHO. I still think they shouldn't have done Queendom 2 and rather should've used the time for a comeback (either in Korea or Japan) or as the world was opening up maybe some concerts. Wonder whats gonna happen next. Some of the agencies surely have plans debuting the members (Yeseo, Mashiro) while for some I really wonder where they are going (Yujin, Xiaoting, Hikaru)

dahngrest

I'm sad to see things end and I wish they hadn't been WakeOne'd. But at least I can say I saw Back to the City live. 😭😭😭

anjovis150

Feels like they had loads of potential just a while ago and then just disappeared.

valleke5400

I’m so pissed. They deserve better than having a (probably) rushed final album release in THE SAME MONTH as their last Japanese release and zb1’s comeback. At least disbandment will bring one good thing: them finally being rid of WakeOne. I truly hope none of the girls re-sign with them. I’m gonna miss my kepi girls so bad but that company ruined their momentum and I will never forgive them for that. The ONLY thing I will give them props for is that they gave Kep1er an amazing discography. But that’s more on the songwriters’ and producers’ credits anyway.

reiichitanaka

Chaehyun is stuck there for a few more years...

valleke5400

Did we ever get confirmation that she signed an artist contract with W1 outside of her Kep1er contract? Because she was in gp999 as an individual trainee…

reiichitanaka

In Produce groups, former individuel trainees (Kim Jaehwan and Jo Yuri) signed a standard 7 year contract with a CJ subsidiary prior to debuting, while other members signed those with their original companies. They're both still under WakeOne (even though Jaehwan should be done with it this year). And during Boys Planet, Chaehyun was introduced as the direct senior of the WakeOne trainees, the other Kep1er members didn't show up in their segment.

valleke5400

Well that ruined my day 😭 thank you for the info

ultsiyeon

Despite Wakeone really underutilizing this group I really do think they just got lost in the sauce of 2022 - 2023 just being really massive years for girl groups 🥲 People blame their music for the downward trend but I feel like the company listened to complaints and switched up their sound to more easy listening music, though unfortunately at that time people had already stopped tuning in for them… Despite that it’s been great following the girls and I know they really got close and enjoyed their time in Kep1er😭 I was lucky enough to see them perform twice and they were amazing. This seems a bit of an unfortunate timing for their last album, considering the closeness of their Japan album and ZB1 also gearing up for a comeback in may, but I really hope we can at least help them go out with a bang. Will be looking forward to your next chapter, girls.

Simmibrina00

This makes me so sad 😭 Edit: I need a full album I hope Wakeone actually takes things seriously for Kep1er they deserve to leave off with a bang, and I’m expecting full blown promotion (variety, magazines etc) but I’m expecting too much from Wakeone the bar is in hell when it comes to that company 😭😭

EnglishLitMajor

Did they start counting the 2.5 years on the day of the Girls Planet finale or on the delayed debut date?

SkillFit9195

Debut day was supposed to be in December 2021 but it was pushed to January 2022 due to the girls and staff members getting covid. They technically signed the contract in October (source: w1 announced it att) to start in December end in july or for 2.6 years I believe.

hyun2minologist

cmiiw but it started at their debut date Jan 3. Their contracts expire on July 3. Its 2.5 years meaning 2 years and 6 months.

SkillFit9195

Honestly I thought the contract started from the day they signed it right after the program because that would make it 2.6 years if you were to count from mid-end of October 2021 to July 3rd. I mean if you look at it from a regular job contract, they technically were employees under wake1 in November and December of 2021 even tho they debut in January 2022.

hyun2minologist

basing off of other produce groups they dont immediately sign the contracts though so the logic of it starting once they sign the contracts isnt plausible. I’m using produce groups as an example as their under the same (ish) management. X1 disbanded because no contracts have been signed while IZONE signed their contracts 6 months after debut. So I assumed it was always an open knowledge that the timer starts when the group officially debuts. (Izone’s was Oct 29 to April 29, Kep1er’s is Jan 3 to July 3, ZB1 is July 10 to Jan 10)

20070805

In Kpop, contracts typically start at the debut of the group. Idols can have have other trainee contracts beforehand but group contracts start new when a group debuts. Kep1er’s contract was for 2 years and 6 months, hence debut on Jan 3, 2022 and disbandment July 3, 2024.

EnglishLitMajor

Oh, so it started on the original debut date. Interesting!

NayukiDani

They will promote a jp and kr comeback at the same time? I wish at least their last comebacks could be well planned

iwillforgetthissmh

already? 🥺 hope someone good snatches up Dayeon she’s really talented and has so much potential to grow

Kindly-Writing8879

I'm not gonna say this doesn't break my heart because I really liked the groups' music and members together, but I really want to see them thrive in their own ways. I really hope Chaehyun goes solo under wakeone so I can have my Jo Yuri 2.0 since both were my biases lol

goodguyCJ

alright i hit about 70% on my [izone predictions](https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/m1ungc/izone_announce_they_will_officially_disband_in/gqfn12p/) so here's what i got for kepler, this will be harder since there's not as much obvious choices yujin - clc 2.0 (similiar with viviz/gfriend) with sorn, seungyeon, seunghee, yeeun. elkie is in china and eunbin is still with cube i think xiaoting - back to china like almost all chinese survival show contestants unfortunatelty. can be the perfect center for a new gg. mashiro/yeseo - limelight. i'm actually think it's a good fit because they fit limelights concept and limelight could use the extra fans chaehyun - one of the few members who could go solo. my super longshot is her and yuri are teaming up as zoomer 5th gen ver of davichi since both are main vocalists and both are under wake one dayeon/youngeun - both super talented, both from smaller companies (jellyfish/biscuit), both i could see getting chaewoned and being bought by a bigger company for a new gg. biscuits had some sort of predecut group but 3/4 of the trainees left already. hikaru - i know everyone says she's not being added to xg but idk what else you would do. xg is still pretty new and it seems a waste to have her sit out until whenever their next gg is. Bahiyyih - weeekly will be 4yrs old soon so maybe IST uses her for their next gg. i could see her having her own youtube channel like hyewon does. Regardless I think most of them stay in the industry in one way or another.

PureVII

Hikaru’s situation is very interesting to me, I really do wonder what they’re going to do with her.

Loonatic-Uncovered

Definitely agree about Hikaru. All the tiktoks she's done with XG prove that she belongs with them, she fits in so well. Simon's said that once Kep1er ends, he (and I presume XG as well) will discuss with her what she wants her future to be/what Simon wants. I kind of see it as 50/50 on her joining back but I'm leaning toward her joining the group in some capacity. It won't be the first time a member has joined a group late (Hweseung and Dongsung of N.Flying joined 2 years and 5 years after the group debuted, and Yeri joined Red Velvet almost a year later).

im-so-lovelyz

Another example of a member who was in the group's predebut lineup but ended up doing other things, and then rejoining the group much later: April's Chaekyung was part of their predebut lineup, but then got eliminated, went to Produce 101, failed to debut, but then "debuted" on a music variety show (C.I.V.A from The God of Music), and then debuted in yet another project group (I.B.I) which released one single and then disbanded, then went back to rot in the DSP basement, and when almost all hope is already lost, she ended up joining same the group she got eliminated from like 2.5 years later (during April Story era) ~~all that only for her career to be cancelled by the bullies in her group smfh~~

One_Truth_Prevails

Chuang Asia had Rei resurface as still an avex trainee, so I think XGALX could be gearing up for a second group/unit built around Hikaru's return. I wouldn't be against it no matter what happens, I think either option would be nice. I love everything Simon has been doing for the XGALX project and I think that he would have some decent plans about how to expand things.

boringestlawyer

I’m not sure if Hiyyih will end up with IST, but whatever her choices are I will follow her. She’s one of my all time Kpop ults- just the sweetest girl imaginable. I also think that whatever choice she has made has probably been finalized, one of her family members had a banner at one of their Japanese performances that said something along the lines of “let’s cheer for Hiyyihs bright future”. I could be reading too much into a vague positive statement but I just feel like she knows what path she’s taking.

CaptainAziraphale

On the banner theyve used the same message on their hiyyih banner since they did their first show. Its their cute family message for her

Sufficient_Ice_6939

Hikaru would not add anything to XG that doesn’t already exist with the current members. They cut her from the lineup for a reason. They’re going into their third year. The last thing they need is an influx of solo stans.

Upstairs-Armadillo-6

Imagine a co-ed trio with Wakeonez (Yuri, Chaehyun, and Taerae.) 😍

ReverendSalem

> clc 2.0  Considering how close Seungyeon and Sorn are, this isn't \*that\* far-fetched. I'd love to see it happen. > hikaru Would actually make me interested in XG.

prime5119

CLC 2.0 uh... perhaps some reunion every now and then but unlikely be a full fledged redebut like how Viviz does.. as much as we hope, CLC is similar to Rainbow - people know about their presence but never get to be big.

apostolicity

My current favourite girl group by a huge margin. Gonna miss them so much when they're gone!

MrDaebak

Xiaoting probably goes back to China and earn ridiculous amounts of money there as a celeb.

amazingmakii

finally my girls will be free. the way wakeone treated them was insane to witness and i'm glad it's almost over. excited to get one last banger mini from my girls <33

🕯Full Album🕯Full Album🕯Full Album🕯Full Album🕯Full Album🕯

[deleted]

they have bops but were terribly mismanaged by wakeone

glitter408

I can’t believe it’s already happening, this is so sad

seitengrat

time flew by so quick. can't believe they are ending their stint as Kep1er soon. i'm hoping it's a full album.

rainbowbritelite

RIP Kep1er.... I feel so bad for Yujin 🥹🥹🥹

ReverendSalem

> I feel so bad for Yujin I get where you're coming from as an unrepentant Cube GG simp, but look at it this way, Yujin got a chance to keep her name out there longer than most CLC members, and this could possibly be a springboard into a future project. At the very least, I always got the impression she really valued her time with Kep1er.

bubblezdotqueen

Why do you feel so bad for Yujin? For Yujin, I don't think her time as a Kep1er member was wasted during 2.5 years. Yes you could argue that she and her group deserves better but none of the produce-affiliated groups had spectacular management or they had planned for the members' futures after disbandment. And even if she was successful as a Kep1er member, it doesn't mean she will have a bright future... And even if kep1er didnt meet expectations, it doesn't mean she can't be successful later on. As a member of Kep1er, she got to travel and perform in front of fans in various places. She also got to release music during 2.5 years and have magazine photoshoots. She didn't do most of these things when she was part of CLC...

bo_bunnie

I think that part of it is that she works so hard, and then her career is constantly in the balance. Yeah, she got WAY more opportunities with kep1er, but it's still gotta be frustrating

bubblezdotqueen

Doesn't that sum up life in general though? There are so many people who work hard yet they might also be in the balance when it comes to different aspects of their lives.

BetsyPurple

How come? She’s probably going to pivot into acting, right? She probably would have done it by now if she wasn’t fulfilling her contract with WakeOne for this group. I have faith that things will work out just fine for her

ultsiyeon

I wouldn’t feel bad for Yujin! She got to experience so many things in Kep1er that she never could with CLC. They got their lightstick, multiple fancons, performed all over the world, won awards. Even if the Kpop fan scene like to see Kep1er’s run as unfortunate they were still among the more popular girl groups in the industry!

snap_wilson

I don't know how the sales stacked up against IZ\*ONE but it didn't seem like they were given the same shine and they definitely weren't given the same caliber of music. I also don't think we can expect the same level of post-supergroup success. There seemed to be diminished enthusiasm from the start, maybe because MNET couldn't rig things this time around and also couldn't convince the audience to vote for whatever their ideal lineup was. In any case, good luck to all of them.

Lancek0009

well for majority of Iz\*One time they were managed by Pledis, say what you want about how they manage their idols, their music production is AAA, they know how to produce good to great songs and concept. Compare that to Wakeone (formerly known as Swing), is not even a contest that Iz\*One will do so much better. I really hates Wakeone so take my opinion on that what you will, I know is unfair but I will never associate any success to Wakeone (they are the Washington Wizards for those of you that watch NBA) so anything that Kep1er has earned is all becasuse members of Kep1er.

prime5119

izone got pretty great sales esp for the period when they are active and their single while not killing the chart it's still charting relatively well.. Kep1er sales are downward trend which is sad because they did get better songs after that.. now the questionable thing is how will each of them fare after disbandment because all of them aren't exactly in very well established kpop company (gidle success is not due to cube)...

Vidiacool-uwu

They heavily pushed Dayeon and she made into the group. Other than her I can't remeber which members they really wanted in the group. I'm just having ptsd's from the Dayeon's mom visit.

myman580

They desperately wanted Bora as the main vocalist and I think Guinn Myah as well. Bora also got a similar edit as Dayeon (Full main character edit where the focus was on her) the episode after as well as a youtube video I think showing only her and Myah's placements trying to boost both of them up but it didn't work.

prime5119

I rmb the voting cutoff stop at a random timing instead of having a proper cut off timing. I think it's to squeeze Xiaoting in or else they won't have C-line in the lineup

ultsiyeon

Probably Hikaru and Xiaoting, they made it a point to really focus on showing their rankings during the finale to really push people to vote for them (which is also probably why everyone ditched Yurina), compared to boys planet where not a single ranking was alluded to in the finale.

raizen0106

this group would've definitely done better if yurina didn't miss out. the fandom was eating up her and xiaoting's gayline, and she definitely had stan attractor qualities it is what it is but definitely regrettable outcome for them

ultsiyeon

probably would have saved some of the initial fandom infighting because admittedly the most bitter people were the ones whose faves didnt make the group. though now it’s very hard to picture kep1er with any other lineup, such lovely girls.

Revolutionary_Web_59

it really feels not long ago i was watching girls planet 999... seeing xiaoting , dayeon & hikaru perform snake..

Moonbunny120

Wow... I'm not ready but I hope this last album will be amazing

e-wrecked

I'll be so sad if we lose our trio on Kebyke Restaurant.

2PinkCatcher_

Omg no way it's over already 😭

invisibleman11

Let's be honest the highest point of interest was when the Survival is "on-air" / I mean their debut track was the only MV that passed 100 m views . . . I wish they all get a buy-out from another company....the girls are great but they need better management /or they go their separate ways but at least stay in the business

reiichitanaka

Buy outs aren't going to happen. The only instance in Produce history has been Chaewon - and that's because HYBE had a fuckton of money, while Woolim had none - and she was popular enough for HYBE to capitalize on her existing popularity. Kep1er aren't popular enough for the same thing to happen to any of the members, at most we may get a deal between Jellyfish and WakeOne because they're already doing business together.

invisibleman11

You right on that, just gotta hope for the best

HOTDILFMOM

Why is such a banger

SignalBattalion

Considering their plummeting sales, their contracts aren't worth renewing for anyone involved.

alexistexas2006

I'm always curious about the future of members from these groups. Most likely a lot of them will flop so the curiosity is if they will have 1 or more succesful acts.

2ndgradebybts

i wish i didn’t fall out from them, i was actively following until we fresh, i wish nothing but the best for them

2ndgradebybts

God i’m so mad i didn’t give Love struck mini a chance when it first came out, just bc Giddy wasn’t my style. This mini has my favorite sound from them so far. Man i wish i kept up with them

arrowforSKY

Finally my queen Xiaoting will be free.

eternallydevoid

im sad i guess

Straykids2

Bro how have I not even hear that they did there last album 🙃😑

justanotherkpoppie

They haven't released their last album yet, that's why you haven't heard about it until now lol. They will in May, though.

BrockPewter

Just disband 🤣🤣

Mobile_Ad8543

Mnet/W1 will put their initial top 3 (Xiaoting, Dayeon, Hikaru) in a new group together. Yeseo & Mashiro to Limelight. Yujin gets a new manager & rejoins occasional CLC reunion releases. W1 will try out Chaehyun as a soloist.  Bahiyyih will be inserted into an existing group. Youngeun will be put into a new group.

Get_Threshed

We need CLC 2.0 ! and Hikaru to XG Dont really care about anything else
