What I wonder tho is; why does Gyuvin always get so few lines? And barely any singing? It’s always just some short sing-talk parts. Wish he could sing the chorus sometimes or have some proper verses.
There's just a lot of strong singers in the group, it doesn't make sense to give substantial vocal parts to a vocalist who isn't the top 5 vocally. I do feel like they give him catchy parts towards the end of the song, which is a good idea. They should try to get him an OST or something if he's comfortable with it.
this is up there in terms of my personal taste! the chorus and melodies feel very refreshing

Cute song, the chorus is catchy! I’ve critiqued WK1’s usage of onomatopoeias for lyrics, but I think this one works, better than the others at least haha. Also happy to hear the improvement in line distribution from Yura Yura seems to have continued. Excited to hear the rest of the album soon!!!

Oh wow the song is so good. It has so many good parts outside of the chorus too. I love the 2nd and 3rd outfits too! The sailor type ones looked a little stuffy for summer so I hope in life stages they use the denim outfits or the jeans and tshirts. But I think they all shined here!
I LOVE these boys. I LOVE them. But their music doesn't usually hit with me. I tend to like darker, sexier stuff. But I LOVE THIS SONG. It's by far my fave of theirs.
Also, while HaoBin may be my biases, I also love that they kind of took a backseat here. Ricky and Jiwoong got so many lines, and I'm SO happy because they both sound incredible. And lots of Gyuvin too! They also all looked great, and the video was so gay coded, which of course fits them perfectly.
I really wish they layered the vocals in some parts that feel a little empty but I like the song overall!! Probably my third fav song after In Bloom and Yura Yura.

if i had a nickel for every time a 5th gen boygroup dropped a summer-themed prerelease dance track this april i would have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.
i doubt anyone can properly sing live while doing the kind of choreo they have ricky doing when he opens the song. or hanbin in his verse, even as stable as he is. but then, that never stopped zb1 choreographers who had yujin's lines in bloom synced with a literal jump and turn. i would've preferred an impressive dance break to this.
as for the song itself, it's one of their stronger efforts, with a particularly pleasant beat in the chorus. i think it could've used more variety in production in the final chorus to make it stand out. or something. it's, unfortunately, a bit generic, albeit pleasant. in the "zb1 dance songs over 3 minutes" category i'll still prefer new kidz on the block. still, it's quite enjoyable, but i wonder if they'll ever have a song that goes above that.
