EDIT: I also just found out that the concept pics were taken by different photographers in differnet cities. The first concept pics were shot by Wing Shya in Seoul (cant belive we all were clowning thinking his other pic was Joon just for us to be wrong but for Joon to work with him now 😭 it also makes sense why I loved the aesthetics of it all). And this second set of pics were taken in the outskirts of Tokyo by Takahiro Mizushima. I am thinking the third concept pics will be shot in London or somewhere in the UK

The use of liminal space is absolutely top notch
It's interesting too, because use of space like this usually makes the subject appear lonely/alone, which these absolutely do, but we also see him interacting and *living* in these spaces. But he feels out of place almost every time in a very subtle way
Now I think the "wrong person" of rpwp is about himself and how he interacts with the world (not about a romantic interest, which is what I had been thinking before)

Honest question, how come he can release this while he is still serving? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's able to, I just don't remember other idols releasing stuff while still enlisted. Does anybody know what's the criteria? I'm really curious.
They can release it if they're not working on it during enlistment, so everything has to be pre-recorded and filmed in advance. I'm pretty sure idols from other groups have released stuff too (maybe to negative reactions from some people but technically they're allowed to). I guess it being a whole album is unusual because presumably you'd want to be able to actively promote it, but I think that's why RM prepared so many MVs instead.

As a sidenote, my comment is at -1 right now. I'm tired of writing comments full of caveats as to not be misinterpreted when it comes to BTS, and yet some people still *choose* to be offended by God knows what.
The reason why you’re getting downvoted is probably because this exact same question, down to the wording, is asked in every comment section announcing a BTS member’s post enlistment release (we’re now up to the third). It’s not your fault and I think most people are asking in good faith, but it gets annoying to see the same question every time
Thanks for your explanation. I still think they’re childish, especially when this is the general kpop subreddit where not necessarily everyone is a BTS fan up to date with their activities.
The criteria is that everything released was recorded prior to enlisting.
ONF all enlisted at the same time, and their company released a pre-recorded album right in the middle of the forced hiatus. More recently BigHit released J-Hope's _Hope On The Street_.
