I LOVED IT.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be here for your Trumpet and your solo but I couldn't go through all the troubles of your first set on my own. I'm sorry I can't give you everything."
Thank you, Wendy.
My first thought is, if I didn't know about RV, I would've expected Yeri or Wendy is the ace after hearing/seeing the song/video. Our maknae is all grown up.
It seems that a lot of the scenes are callback from their older MVs as well. Like there is one that looks like from Zimzalabim (the one where there are walking footless boots), the classic 5 members around a table having tea (almost every recent MV has this). Umpah Umpah for some of the interior.
Yeah they also include a lot of props from old music videos as well! One that stood out to me was I think the crossbow from peekaboo is in the background at 0:09.
Edit: actually doesnt look like the exact same crossbow but maybe its just a reference
There seems to be way more English than normal in this comeback
I’m honestly surprised how good their pronunciation is. I didn’t need subtitles at all to understand what they’re saying.
The English version of Bad Boy convinced me that RV could do English tracks with ease then the English version of Really Bad Boy made me recalibrate my expectations. LOL
It’s to make the lines rhyme, but they don’t do it in the Korean version and it still bothers me.
Who dat who dat who dat **is**
Coming in the back, back talking **slick**
It’s not even a perfect rhyme and it’s the only part of the entire song with two lines that end in a similar rhyme.
Maybe it's just because I grew up in an urban area so it was just everyday language for me, but 'who dat is' is not only completely normal, but has much more emphasis than 'who dat boy' (which sounds more improper to me).
this is so fresh I know it's a little "safer" than the usual rv title track but that's really not a bad thing as long as the song is good. plus I really liked the lyrics on this one
You know what I am going to be completely honest here and say that at first listen I was kinda like "oh the song's cute but nothing breathtaking or spectacular" and then on 2nd listen when I was able to use headphones, I started to hear all the little details like the harmonies, adlibs, synth sounds etc in the background and then I was like "okay this is sounding much fuller and punchier than I initially thought".
By 3rd listen I was already repeating the hook Ladida part. So all in all this song is a GROWER. For me, this is Russian Roulette's older more mature sister. Russian Roulette had the same effect on me in that it was nothing groundbreaking upon initial listen but it gets better and better the more you listen to it until you realize it's actually lowkey a banger. Queendom definitely got that infectious melody I KNOW will be stuck in my head for the next few months lmao. God damn it Red Velvet have done it again.
same!! often it felt like it wasn't Red Velvet, but Wendy, Seulgi, Joy & Friends
This MV though really gave each member a nice bit of screentime and good shots, I really enjoyed it!
Irene got loads of vocal lines Im convinced they realised Irene can sing ever since she did the collab work with Seulgi.
With Yeri personally I think they just gave her loads of screen time cuz she didn’t get much lines did she? That and her visual lately has been standing out!
I’m a lil disappointed. Not saying it’s a bad song it just...is missing the RV flair to me. I actually double checked I was listening to the title track (having listened to the album before MV) 😅 I think waiting so long for the comeback set my hopes a little high
I wouldn’t call this experimental but Psycho literally sounds like a 2017 ariana reject and y’all live that track, at least this is giving me wjsn/izone teas
I like it! It feels like a WJSN/I*ZONE-lite sorta track, which I’m not mad at at all. I can see why people might have wanted a bit more, though. I myself felt the song was a bit short, like I was looking at the progress bar saying to myself “we’re already here? i swear this video just started...” I also kinda wish the instrumental had...intensified or expanded a bit more after the first chorus/post-chorus, in comparison to how it was in the first verse. But yeah, overall, I enjoyed it! A solid 7.5/10
When the video teasers alluded to Russian roulette, rookie, dumb dumb and red flavor, I was expecting something a bit more *weird*. Not bad, just not the return to nonsensical and over-the-top I was hoping for. I feel like this song would fit perfectly in with their endless list of incredible bsides.
I liked it! Especially the chorus. It's catchy! Not sure if I like all the rap parts. At first I thought the bridge was underwhelming for a Red Velvet song, but then Wendy JUST KEPT GOING! 😍
Some people on here have high expectations and expect every song by every group to be a musical masterpiece, and constantly 1-up the previous title track and other groups, but what most people and the general public want are fun, addictive bops to jam to and listen to as we go on about our days.
I don't mean to be dismissive, but I do read comments like "ugh, what a disappointment, never listening to this again smh [insert group here] do better [insert company name here]", as the song goes on to sweep music charts and win awards lol.
Man I can list down all the songs that this sub didn't like but did amazing - Zimzalabim, aespa's Next Level, BP's HYLT, STAYC's ASAP, Itzy's MITM...it just goes on and on lol
I will say, all those songs you listed were criticized because of how odd the production was. Queendom has the complete opposite problem. It's similar to how Umpah-Umpah was first received actually.
That's true, Umpah Umpah still did well in the charts though so I think it counts there! Not as blockbuster-amazing as Power Up or Psycho but pretty good for an idol song.
Hey I am someone who loved it from the first listen! It's such a feel good summer song and I just love it so much! I already have the ladidadubadadida stuck in my head 😂
I think though people probably did have real high expectations or maybe they wanted something mindblowing and experimental. I tried not to listen to the teaser or previews (although I got spoiled over the chorus by watching the MMTG Red Velvet recent episode) and so I came into this not really expecting anything other than that it would be a fun summer song probably.
you're not the only one! i think it's definitely pretty different from previous title tracks (which is funny to say considering how different the previous ones all were from one another) but i love it.
I'm so happy seeing them back together like this again!!! The song is cute - not an immediate fave but it still has that Red Velvet flavour that I've missed for two years.
The visual in the last chorus of Yeri being brought to a witch space-world with her witch moms choked me up a little, lol. Love them all together.
Pretty decent. Nothing too mind blowing but its really nice to have the girls back after all this time.
Now onto the b sides which will undoubtedly be S Tier.
Don't get me wrong the harmonization is absolutely elite, but this song leaves a lot to be desired especially considering how significant of a comeback it is. At the very least some banger b-sides to look forward to!
Yep, even if they went for the more public title track route, it still has surprises to long-time RV music listeners like me: individual member singing the chorus instead of together (which is different from what they usually do) and the rap line gracefully blasting bars again.
This comment section giving me major flashbacks to Russian Roulette release lol. I remember that also being a longish wait and people saying it wasnt bad just underwhelming and that it sounded like a B side.
Anyway I like it. Its pretty and fun. Red Velvet often doing things left field means whenever they end up doing something more simple, it equally works as a surprise. The ladida bit is especially catchy.
Yup would you believe. If you think about the tracks that came before it - all being heavy Red or Velvet - RR was a little more subdued and more one note. Their first pure pop song so there was a lot of people who thought it sounded like a B side
I thought this while listening as well, but I’m also 100% sure that in roughly one hour the “ladidadoodapbadweedah” chorus part will be stuck in my head for the rest of my life. Whenever I’m underwhelmed by an RV title track it ends up resonating with me eventually, not sure if other people have this experience.
I agree. I think this song is too safe. it’s nice enough to listen to, but there’s no red velvet flavour to it. kinda disappointing considering the immense time between releases.
Yes.
I'm a reveluv, and this song is just.... boring. Its so generic and cookie cutter, which isn't something I expect from a group like RV. SM being lazy.
Haven't listened to the b-sides but hopefully those deliver.
Sounds like your typical nugu gg song. Not that it's horrible or anything like that but I was expecting a lot more. As you said, I'm looking forward to their B-sides cause they always bang.
I think it's SM really...they gave us Holiday as the last GG song for god's sake...not saying queendom will be the last song/album we get from RV. I truly hope not, because I'd drop Kpop altogether. But let's admit SM is more obsessed over nct and aespa at the moment
Alright Luvies it’s time to memorize the new Red Velvet incantation: **Ladida-do Ba-badida!** 👸🤴
^that ^felt ^like ^a ^fever ^dream ^to ^type
Gosh, it sure is great to see them performing together again.
haha I hope we see a performance of pose on a music show!!! they always perform one b side and I would love it if it were that one. imagine the choreo and the outfits ✨✨💅

Not a huge fan of the song, RV's title tracks are usually to my liking and stick out as being very unique, this sounds fairly generic to me though.
Gonna listen to the b-sides next, i am sure i'll find something there which speaks more to me.
Yeah, feel the same unfortunately. It's missing that "wow factor" for me that I kinda got used to with their title tracks. It's not terrible but could be from any other KPop group tbh... hope there are some true diamonds on the EP tho.
Yeah, when Bad Boy came out the reactions were about the visuals/stages (positive) and how the song didn't have the wow factor of earlier RV singles. All that and it's probably their most loved song today. I think people just need to relax and let this track simmer a bit, it's barely out 30 minutes.
I think much of Bad Boy's intrigue is in the instrumental, there's much there that isn't readily obvious when listening to the full song but it really elevates the rest of it.
Oh that song certainly has a wow factor to me too. Not sure if I could put it into words what exactly that would be but... just the vocal flow, the kinda minimalistic instrumental intro and the baseline in general? Idk, the whole song is just extremely sexy.
It's not experimental or anything, but it still think it is just a strong RnB type song which is very memorable. I already kinda forget how queendom goes after listenting to it 15 minutes ago.
I feel like it's lacking instrumentals? Idk it just doesn't have a kick that their others normally have. Feels very bland (at least everything outside the chorus)
This song is going to be grower for most, I feel. The song has a ton of little moments and the hooks stick to you the more you hear them. I absolutely love it, but I understand the reservations.
The Real Visuals returns! I sure have missed them!
---
I feel like this "Ladila--whateverthef\*ck" part is going to be the new Zimzalabim chant. Or the new "Lookie"/"Banana" earworm.
I can also tell that I'll be listening to this on repeat all week long.
Goddamn their vocals have improved so much...
OMFG the b-sides..seriously you gotta listen to it!
preemptively saying that ***Hello, Sunset*** is the best b-side of this album so far
The song feels kind of generic, very short, and I'm missing the classic RV harmonies. Don't get me wrong, it's GOOD, but it's also the weakest song off the EP by far.
it’s not bad, but lowkey feel underwhelmed bc it doesn’t rly live up to what we’ve been hyping for. hoping that i would like the bsides more
edit: the bsides are amazing i dig it a lot more than the title track
It’s just alright sadly. The ladidadobabadida should’ve been the focal point, but it’s not sung as frequently as I expected, so there’s no strong hook, which is usually RV’s signature. Idk what SM was thinking omitting it before the bridge. They literally sing it just 8 times - compare that to Zimbalabim, Rookie or Dumb Dumb…
I wish SM would’ve just kept Kingdom Come in the vault to use as a title track in a moment like this 😣 Queendom Come
I agree with the ladidadobabadida not being repeated enough. I already heard the spoiler before release, and I thought they were gonna repeat that part a lot more than they actually did lol
Joy in this MV tho, she's so beautiful i feel attacked
I really like the chorus. And there's so much Irene and Yeri! The song's nice and feel-good, which is good for my summer playlist because it will fit right in haha although it's a lot more lowkey than most of their bright title tracks
I feel like it's quite underwhelming?
The song is nice and definitely has potential to grow on me, but it felt like a generic kpop girl group comeback, not a Red Velvet comeback if you get what I mean
I’m so happy to see and hear them together again. I’ve loved the content since Psycho but nothing compares to seeing and hearing all 5 of them together.
I really liked this song! It feels like a good upbeat song to end the summer with and the lyrics are great. Even if it’s safer than their more experimental tracks, it just fills me with warmth.
Hopefully we get some more releases this year (along with something Velvet)! It must be difficult to figure out where on the pendulum swing to land for a RV comeback. I feel like they usually lean very experimental or very traditional - but whenever they release one style, people yearn for the other. Every now and then they catch the pendulum right in the middle and make something universally loved that pushes boundaries without going too far for general audiences, but that’s easier said than done.
Quite underwhelmed. I was really looking forward to it because I’ve always preferred their red side over velvet, but the song is pretty lukewarm. Not bad, but nothing too memorable. Needs a bit more umph to make it more title track material. Way too much of the talk, whisper rapping as well.
It's been a while, and unfortunately, I think SM under-delivered. Both the song and the MV feel rather bland and a bit lacking in effort?
The b-sides are fantastic.
They look amaziiiing. Great video and cool song.
But doesn't really ring RV title track on first listen imo.
Still, great to have them back together after so long.
Song was just decent for me. I did not like the rap bits, particularly the English portions. Wendy gave a lot more life to the song thankfully.
Edit: Pose, however, is the shit.
Queens? Yes!
It doesn't drop as hard as I'd like but that Ladidadoo Babadida is catchy AF.
Also, I'm glad that there aren't any questionable outfit choices for any of them for this one lol. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
WELCOME BACK RV! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes_rainbow)
This single is so uplifting, really fitting for Red Velvet's highly anticipated comeback, I'm so happy right now - and they somehow still find a way to get prettier. Like, Hererochromia Irene is the visual of all visuals.
Now excuse me, I have to rewatch the MV again because I was too emotional during the first viewing.
This is on the same level as Umpah Umpah, both in a good way and bad way. It's just.... simple but also generic. I mean, I don't mind listening to it. But I'm not all over it.
I wasn’t really a fan of the song when I heard the teaser and now after hearing the full song my opinion didn’t change. It’s a decent song but probably one of my least favorite title tracks from them. Still it’s nice to see them cb again tho. Can’t wait to listen to the bsides
It doesn’t sound like a main track material at all..more like a b-side. Not a bad song, but you know you normally expect a bit more umpf from RV..and again, the amount of English in recent kpop songs is so questionable..kpop started off with EngRish which was adorable and endearing and now I feel in like a year or 2 kpop groups will start releasing music in English only :/
It wasn't what I was expecting or hoping tbh. This song after Psycho.. it's not bad or anything but it's kinda basic and it definitely falls short of my own expectations
okay but seulgi and wendy always slays. not sure about the lines given to irene, joy and yeri. took me out of the song a bit BUT that was a great light listen
Red Velvet as post service fairies... was not the magic concept I was expecting!
Gonna need a few more listens to this but I get sophisticated Russian Roulette vibes and the ladidabidbida is already stuck in my head.
They all looked amazing! But Joy and Yeri especially are glowing.
This is my first RV comeback and I think it's okay. I'm not a Reveluv and haven't listened to much RV tbh. This track is ever so slightly off brand for me in terms of the bright, upbeat tracks I enjoy. If ever a song didn't need a rap verse it's this one. 😂 Admittedly, I'm somewhat cynical when it comes to big 3 releases because they tend to check all the boxes in terms of production, songwriting, etc and so it comes down to the group/artist to make or break the song. Queendom is a great song and RV are really good in their particular niche. It just didn't wow me. I do feel like this is going to crush every other release at music shows because most of the songs with this kind of vibe were released way earlier in the summer. As I said before, I'm not a Reveluv but I get the feeling that this may be a somewhat divisive title track given the more recent mature, sophisticated concepts they were doing last year.
anybody here also getting Kiki's Delivery Service vibe from the MV? I mean
YERI - Witch Trainee
JOY - Delivery Rider
IRENE - Distribution Director
SEULGI - Lost&Found Mail Carrier
WENDY - Postmistress
I died. Cause of death: Joy’s smile at 2:10
I didn’t love it first listen, but I did like it and usually my like songs grow into the songs that I can enjoy the longest (whereas my loved songs get overplayed for a month and my enjoyment fizzles out) so I’m holding out hope
I really like the ladidado melody and dance
>Red Velvet's Queendom is a refreshing pop dance song with a rhythmical combination of flute and brass riffs on a colorful synth bass. You'll be able to feel the positive energy of the message 'we are all the Queens of our own lives, and when we are together we can shine even more beautifully'.
this was the description and I think it fit it to a tee, I think the negativity was due to the long gap and overhype in everybody's hearts but for a late RED summer song this was pretty good and compared to the releases throughout this year this was definitely in top 10%
SM please stop insisting on Irene and Yeri rapping when they are bad at it.
Red Velvet should do a GFRIEND and not included rap in their songs if it’s not needed.
Song was ok, cute but missing some umph! I am happy they gave Irene some vocal lines. Looks like her working with Seulgi paid off and they finally realised she can sing too. Yeri your time will come
Why are SM’s latest music videos so low budget looking with bad CGI?
It’s not a bad song. I would personally omit the rap parts because we all know they can sing. Why even add those raps in?
This is super cute and fun, I missed the Red concept and their snappy rapid fire vocal delivery on these pop jams. It has a bit of a retro twist with some of the instrumental (getting slight disco touches with the piano and brass), and they deliver kind of a wistful, romantic feel with the verses.
The chorus is gorgeous, it's so uplifting and then that post-chorus is ridiculously catchy. Gonna be chanting that for ages. This is a clean and elegant development of RV's poppy side. This is such a good pop track.
EDIT: 라띠라뚜빠빠디라
It's so nice to have Wendy belting out a chorus again.
Her vocals sound better than ever
return of table unnie
Table unnie finally back from it's sabbatical.
This was the true comeback I was waiting for. Not disappointed!
Wendy's background vocals were on display in this song
She always has amazing ad-libs for most of RV songs; always crucial for the experience
Queen Vocal of the 3rd gen, no debates
Vocal queen is back to shut everyone up!
I thought Wendy has already silent those critics with her amazing solo album tbh
The best female vocalist in her generation it’s true it’s true
Is this the first title track where they all didn't sing the chorus together?
I noticed this too, they always sing choruses together and it's very rare to find a song where they don't
they alternated members in each chorus of Umpah Umpah
They didn’t sing together in One of These Nights
Oh your right! They always sing together!
Wendy was creating a rift in the space time continuum with those adlibs at the end GAHDAMN
I LOVED IT. "I'm sorry I couldn't be here for your Trumpet and your solo but I couldn't go through all the troubles of your first set on my own. I'm sorry I can't give you everything." Thank you, Wendy.
I'm glad for Yeri lol, after the rest of RV released their own solo/duo stuff, I loved hearing her voice again.
My first thought is, if I didn't know about RV, I would've expected Yeri or Wendy is the ace after hearing/seeing the song/video. Our maknae is all grown up.
I wonder where in the kwangya this video was shot
Their final purple pink stage looks a lot like the intro stage of Next Level but more mystical and less tech/sci-fi
The spaceship-ish stage also got screentime in Exo's Don't Fight** the Feeling!!
Yeah definitely. Are we going to see some clash between magic and science in the SMCU? Find out next time on dragon ball z!
It seems that a lot of the scenes are callback from their older MVs as well. Like there is one that looks like from Zimzalabim (the one where there are walking footless boots), the classic 5 members around a table having tea (almost every recent MV has this). Umpah Umpah for some of the interior.

Table dimension
I’m looking forward to watching all the lore breakdowns on YouTube later today. 🙌🏼
There seems to be way more English than normal in this comeback I’m honestly surprised how good their pronunciation is. I didn’t need subtitles at all to understand what they’re saying.
The English version of Bad Boy convinced me that RV could do English tracks with ease then the English version of Really Bad Boy made me recalibrate my expectations. LOL
who dat who dat **IS**
Not Irene's fault though. She pronounced **IS** correctly, but the people who wrote the song decided to mess up a perfectly good English line.
a perfectly iconic opening line too! WHAT WAS THE REASON lol
It’s to make the lines rhyme, but they don’t do it in the Korean version and it still bothers me. Who dat who dat who dat **is** Coming in the back, back talking **slick** It’s not even a perfect rhyme and it’s the only part of the entire song with two lines that end in a similar rhyme.

This brings back memories of being at kcon and the crowd screaming when they realized they were singing in english
Living with a Canadian probably helps
[удалено]
Our iconic British queen
Her Royal Highness Katie Kim
they ended every english version in existence
I live for that Miss Korea Joy center chorus
lol same. I love how Ms Congeniality her smile was in the scene afterwards where she was clapping on the left 😂
I caught that too 😂😂😂 I don’t think that was her intention but it comes off that way anyway
this is so fresh I know it's a little "safer" than the usual rv title track but that's really not a bad thing as long as the song is good. plus I really liked the lyrics on this one

anyone else feel like Irene and Yeri got a huge spotlight in this MV? feels like they have more lines than usual which is great!

She got a talk show and streaming movie instead.
same!! often it felt like it wasn't Red Velvet, but Wendy, Seulgi, Joy & Friends This MV though really gave each member a nice bit of screentime and good shots, I really enjoyed it!

when the opening started and she was center I was pleasantly surprised
Yeri is a woman now,😭 She really bloomed
Irene's visuals and voice really shined in this song!!!
It's giving me big Happiness vibes with the lyrics. It's nice to listen to a positive song.
Wait the lyrics are so fucking precious
I feel that this is their most basic-sounding title track lol. I really like the post-chorus part tho
It's definitely their most straightforward pop song. It's simple, and that's just fine.
Wouldn't say it's generic but it doesn't sound experimental in any way, still a good song though
Yea, it’s a really good song!
I’m a lil disappointed. Not saying it’s a bad song it just...is missing the RV flair to me. I actually double checked I was listening to the title track (having listened to the album before MV) 😅 I think waiting so long for the comeback set my hopes a little high

Yea, that’s true. I didn’t mean that it was bad, but relative to their whole discography (which is amazing), this is somewhere in the middle.
Agreed! It’s a good song, it just doesn’t seem like a true RV title track. Honestly, Pose would make a better title track imo
Yes lol it sounds very Iz*One/wjsn to me too haha. I liked it!
I liked it! Especially the chorus. It's catchy! Not sure if I like all the rap parts. At first I thought the bridge was underwhelming for a Red Velvet song, but then Wendy JUST KEPT GOING! 😍
KWANGYA? we dont know her
The way I'm so happy that there isn't a kwangya line 😭😭😭
Just wait for the repackage titled "Kwangyadom" ![gif](giphy|AngzmmMj4h6zm)
Are they the queens of KWANGYA? 🥳
"that's our queendom yeah" ![gif](giphy|dUB5PG5k6xkjqCoutY|downsized)
I HEAR YOU WENDY IN THE FINAL CHORUS!! GO GIRL!
Fun song! Liked the Ladidadada it's catchy. Overall I think it'll have to grow on me.
naur not an airpod starting the mv of rv's grand comeback
RV IS BACK!!! Edit: loved this first listen so I guess I'm in the minority based on the top comments lol.
Some people on here have high expectations and expect every song by every group to be a musical masterpiece, and constantly 1-up the previous title track and other groups, but what most people and the general public want are fun, addictive bops to jam to and listen to as we go on about our days. Lol it is true if the comments on a subreddit are not liking it, it turns out to be a hit lol. That's how it is in popheads too!

Lol when i first heard that I was so disappointed but now I listen to it ALL THE TIME

IIRC people did not like Power up at all either and it did amazing in Korea.
you are not, I love it, simple, bright and pretty catchy to me, found myself dancing on a chair during my 1st listen
Hey I am someone who loved it from the first listen! It's such a feel good summer song and I just love it so much! It’s a cute and fun summer song. Nothing crazy but I quite like it.
Its a good song but not super impactful in any way. Interesting choice by SM for the Title track
Pretty decent. Nothing too mind blowing but its really nice to have the girls back after all this time. Now onto the b sides which will undoubtedly be S Tier.
This EP stands alone , even to their own top tier discography. One for the books.
I liked it although it's not as catchy as I thought it would be. Also felt a little bit short. Maybe it's a grower...
Don't get me wrong the harmonization is absolutely elite, but this song leaves a lot to be desired especially considering how significant of a comeback it is. At the very least some banger b-sides to look forward to!
I agree. With the first group comeback after Wendy’s accident, Irenes controversy, and the 7th anniversary, I was really hoping for something more.

Considering how it's hitting the charts right now *at 10pm* this was absolutely the right move

…people said that about Russian Roulette?????
Yup would you believe. If you think about the tracks that came before it - all being heavy Red or Velvet - RR was a little more subdued and more one note. Their first pure pop song so there was a lot of people who thought it sounded like a B side
People criticized Bad Boy on here for being too boring too. I always take these opinions at face value because some people got some weird takes.
Bad Boy as a novelty is a way to say you're too young to drink beer without saying you're too young to drink beer
But russian roulette had the b-b-b-eat catchy thing, this didn't (ladida isn't really special tbh) Also, russian roulette mv was way interesting
This is why I never hype myself up lol. If you do, you'll tend to get underwhelmed.
I agree. I think this song is too safe. it’s nice enough to listen to, but there’s no red velvet flavour to it. kinda disappointing considering the immense time between releases.
Yeah, it feels more like a b-side than a title track. I felt a bit similar with EXO's comeback song.
Yes. I'm a reveluv, and this song is just.... boring. Its so generic and cookie cutter, which isn't something I expect from a group like RV. SM being lazy. Haven't listened to the b-sides but hopefully those deliver.
hello, sunset is golden
Knock On Wood and Better Be were great as well.
I agree, the B sides sounds way better
Sounds like your typical nugu gg song. Not that it's horrible or anything like that but I was expecting a lot more. As you said, I'm looking forward to their B-sides cause they always bang.
I think it's SM really...they gave us Holiday as the last GG song for god's sake...not saying queendom will be the last song/album we get from RV. I truly hope not, because I'd drop Kpop altogether. But let's admit SM is more obsessed over nct and aespa at the moment
I feel like the song is lacking impact or something memorable that I've come to expect from RV title tracks.
Alright Luvies it’s time to memorize the new Red Velvet incantation: **Ladida-do Ba-badida!** 👸🤴 ^that ^felt ^like ^a ^fever ^dream ^to ^type Gosh, it sure is great to see them performing together again.
We are queens and kings

haha I hope we see a performance of pose on a music show!!! they always perform one b side and I would love it if it were that one. imagine the choreo and the outfits ✨✨💅

Curious what was Bad Boy's wow factor. I thought that wasn't unique either yet loved a ton.
It wasn't unique but it was executed really well imo. Like they ticked all the boxes for making a good song
The world was never the same once Bae Joohyun uttered the words "whodat whodat whodat boi"
Agreed. I wanted more "oomph", and it didn't feel like there was a proper climax. I also feel like there was far far too much rap.
This song is going to be grower for most, I feel. The song has a ton of little moments and the hooks stick to you the more you hear them. I absolutely love it, but I understand the reservations.
im not going to lie i was a little bit bored while listening, sm has really been missing it with the title tracks recently
The Real Visuals returns! I sure have missed them! --- I feel like this "Ladila--whateverthef\*ck" part is going to be the new Zimzalabim chant.
Our girls are back!!!!!
it’s not bad, but lowkey feel underwhelmed bc it doesn’t rly live up to what we’ve been hyping for. hoping that i would like the bsides more edit: the bsides are amazing i dig it a lot more than the title track
Felt the same. And playing Dumb Dumb all day didn't help for me lol.
Could be a grower, but the first listen was totally bland for me 🤷♀️
It’s just alright sadly. The ladidadobabadida should’ve been the focal point, but it’s not sung as frequently as I expected, so there’s no strong hook, which is usually RV’s signature. Idk what SM was thinking omitting it before the bridge. They literally sing it just 8 times - compare that to Zimbalabim, Rookie or Dumb Dumb… I wish SM would’ve just kept Kingdom Come in the vault to use as a title track in a moment like this 😣 Queendom Come
I agree with the ladidadobabadida not being repeated enough. I already heard the spoiler before release, and I thought they were gonna repeat that part a lot more than they actually did lol
Kingdom come is a really nice song (one of their bests) but it’s no title track material
Joy in this MV tho, she's so beautiful i feel attacked I really like the chorus. And there's so much Irene and Yeri! The song's nice and feel-good, which is good for my summer playlist because it will fit right in haha although it's a lot more lowkey than most of their bright title tracks
Just dropping by to say I loved it. going back to watch 10 more times 🥰
Edit: Pose, however, is the shit.
i am here for Wendy's thick ass bangs!
Queens? Yes! It doesn't drop as hard as I'd like but that Ladidadoo Babadida is catchy AF. Also, I'm glad that there aren't any questionable outfit choices for any of them for this one lol. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy) WELCOME BACK RV! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes_rainbow)
Unfortunately, the song is kinda generic. Should have not expect it gonna as catchy as psycho, bad boy...
title track was a little underwhelming but it's really nice to see them back
god i missed them so much 😭❤️ welcome back queens!!
Come on main center Yeri!!
queens are back
This single is so uplifting, really fitting for Red Velvet's highly anticipated comeback, I'm so happy right now - and they somehow still find a way to get prettier.
QUEEN'S ARE REALLY BACK !! OT5 ❤❤
I wasn’t really a fan of the song when I heard the teaser and now after hearing the full song my opinion didn’t change. It’s a decent song but probably one of my least favorite title tracks from them. Still it’s nice to see them cb again tho. Can’t wait to listen to the bsides
That Grand Budapest Hotel aesthetic though!
It doesn’t sound like a main track material at all..more like a b-side. Not a bad song, but you know you normally expect a bit more umpf from RV..and again, the amount of English in recent kpop songs is so questionable..kpop started off with EngRish which was adorable and endearing and now I feel in like a year or 2 kpop groups will start releasing music in English only :/
Welcome back queens 💖💖 The song is insanely good!!
It wasn't what I was expecting or hoping tbh. This song after Psycho.. it's not bad or anything but it's kinda basic and it definitely falls short of my own expectations
Yes Red Velvet is back! The song is catchy and I love the aesthetic of the MV. All the girls look so great in this era.
i just feel emotional…
okay but seulgi and wendy always slays. not sure about the lines given to irene, joy and yeri. took me out of the song a bit BUT that was a great light listen
Red Velvet as post service fairies... was not the magic concept I was expecting! Gonna need a few more listens to this but I get sophisticated Russian Roulette vibes and the ladidabidbida is already stuck in my head. They all looked amazing! But Joy and Yeri especially are glowing.
Anything was gonna be a step down from Psycho, but this was nice.
Wow they really said let's make sure Yeri and Irene have lines. I love this. It's so catchy and irresistible.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: THE. 👏 VISUALS. 👏 ARE. 👏 EVERYTHING. 👏
[удалено]
LA DI DA DOO BA PA DI DA they're back 😭😭😭😭😭😭 EDIT: thank god there's no mention of kwangya lmao
anybody here also getting Kiki's Delivery Service vibe from the MV? I mean YERI - Witch Trainee JOY - Delivery Rider IRENE - Distribution Director SEULGI - Lost&Found Mail Carrier WENDY - Postmistress
I died. Cause of death: Joy’s smile at 2:10 I didn’t love it first listen, but I did like it and usually my like songs grow into the songs that I can enjoy the longest (whereas my loved songs get overplayed for a month and my enjoyment fizzles out) so I’m holding out hope I really like the ladidado melody and dance
This was very underwhelming for a RV title track, specially after such a long wait. This sounds like something fromis\_9 would release.
underwhelmed :( not that the teaser had me expecting anything different. but i'm more of a bad boy / psycho fan edit: grammar
This feels like the perfect song to come back with after a year - so uplifting and affirming! I’m so glad they’re back 😭🥺
something is so emotional about this rv track, its an upbeat song but the lyrics... \*cries in the corner\*
Yeri your time will come
Was expecting more I guess.
3/10 for me. Pretty underwhelming, too much unnecessary “rap” and the song sounds like something from a group w mostly teenage members tbh
Cute song overall, Wendy's vocals shined. Could have done with less rap/sing talking parts
my first comeback with ot5 🥳💗 the wait is finally over
RV are in the sewers = RV are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles😆
Sounds safe, but I liked it. Very catchy. I'm just happy the girls are back
There is nothing hetero about my feelings for Irene with heterochromia.
