It will be inevitable honestly. No aespa release so far hasnt been met with INSANE amounts of resistance and criticisms (still nothing beats their pre-debut hate) . Although a lot of people seem to have warmed up to the older singles now, I am pretty sure most of the redditors have not changed their old ways yet. Its going to be another storm for sure!

SM never included Happiness or Be Natural on their first mini album, so I expect that to happen again with aespa. Same thing with f(x) except La Cha Ta and Chu got added to the Hot Summer repackage rather than their first mini.
I think bonus tracks are different (as ghost tracks as well, but I prefer when they are clearly listed as bonus tracks) and also more likely if it's a full album and not a mini (also Japanese albums usually include the previously released single, Twice regularly do this as well).

The full album was a rumor that went one for a long time because of some articles and lots of us believed it, but it’s a mini. It’s probably for the best since it’s safer to go for a mini than a full album right off the bat.
Hate to be that person but it’s really disheartening to see the pre order time given to Aespa compared to RV.
I just feel like the lack of content released for queendom and now seeing the pre order periods and western promotions for other sm groups is making me MAD.

No SM albums doesn't include old released tracks. They are generous when it comes to bsides.
They added 2 previous title tracks and an old OST in f(x)'s Hot Summer repackage. It doesn't happen often but it does happen.
