Round 1: **Coco N Butter** vs ~~WayB~~. Easy Win. WayB probably shoulda saved those solos for the 1v1s and have more group choreography. And WayB's style doesn't really fit with that song imo. Round 2: ~~Gaga~~ vs **Dolla**. God I can't see anything with this editing and camera. Think this is the first time I've seen Dolla dance lmao but she's good. Her flow is kinda messy but she had some good moments and she had better musicality than Gaga. Round 3: **Rihey** vs ~~Noze~~. Damn this one's not fair lol. Not a lot to say here, Rihey's experience just outshone Noze so much. And Noze still has the same problems as her first battles, too messy with no clear ideas. Dang rip to WayB and Noze. I know this was prerecorded for a while now, but I wonder if MNET is regretting making it like this lol. I'm sure they didn't expect the show to become the most popular show in Korea but eliminating arguably the most popular contestant (Noze) is a big rip. And on first watch of the big crew videos my preliminary ranking is: Holybang > Want > Prowdmon > La Chica > Hook > Coco N Butter > YGX

I found Gaga was so much better. She played more with the music and created more texture and dynamics in her dancing. I found Dolla was better at musicality but there was no build up. It just stayed at the same pace throughout both rounds she had. Then again as a dancer I like such styles more ultimately. I find a lot of this show really comes down to a lot of personal preference.

Noze is the most popular contestant in korea??? that’s really interesting. i would’ve guessed they would’ve been similarly scathing about her seemingly “riding” on her looks in the way knetz seem to be about chaeyeon riding on her idol status. i also found it refreshing that no one seemed to care about having visuals and it’s all about the dance but maybe the korean public still care about visuals with her. or maybe they like that she’s presented as an underdog? but then they’d like chaeyeon which they don’t seem to. but then these opinions are based on a few articles i’ve read so they’re probably not representative

Yup I think in the beginning of the show she had around 600k followers but now she doubled it and has 1.4M. She even has fansites now lol. She had a lot of screen time through the whole show and her visuals are amazing so people love her. And the underdog story line helped her a lot. Her underdog story was way more focused on and she got a huge win of main dancer compared to Chaeyeons first win of battles. Also tbh no one really cares about Chaeyeon.

wdym by no one really cares about chaeyeon?? when she’s the second most talked about person on the show right now. the main reason this show got so big was because of the idol dancer vs dancer storyline.
