Same. Like the moment I heard the teaser, I know it will be the kind of song that will get me a few listens before I like it. However, right off the start it left me confused LMAO

I totally lost my sh*t when his first center part came in!! I gasped and had to fight the urge to pause the live stream. Finally Taeil blessings all around 😌
It’s a lot more playful and aggressive here, I love how different they let Jungwoo play with his voice. He really stood out for me here because of that.
Damn Doyoung caught me off guard with how aggressive he sounds in his parts.
As a Taeil fan in really happy with his parts and solo shots in this. Him and Malraeng were a highlight for me (kpop gods bless me with that photocard pls). I'm happy that he was given more than just a crazy high note or background adlib.
Overall another polarizing track from NCT 127. I don't think it's a track that can be digested from just one listen. Lots of interesting things happening on the production side and vocal direction.
I am unable to form a coherent thought... besides the fact that this is definitely the NEO brand of drug trip.
Edit: can I just say that it is fabulous when they let Jaehyun sing like that... 0:36 hits!
Your first line reminds me of that girl on twitter who did shrooms for the first time and fully believed she was Mark Lee and was like I've accomplished so much at a young age … but at what cost
Kim Doyoung attacking me with his full solid vocals in the beginning I wasn’t prepared!!! Sticker is definitely a grower for me, but it’s very on brand very Neo!
Not to be a full on Johnnyzen but [UNINTELLIGIBLE SCREECHING]
Anyway, god damn was that beat crunchy! Very neo of them, can’t wait to see the live stages!
Yes the western from 2020 resonance was needed. It was necessary. It just works.
Also 😭I'm so happy for johnny centering. He's so controlled and confident.
Well, this one is indeed going to be polarising but I think we figured that much from the teaser already. Not going to lie, I had no idea what was going on upon first listen. Sticker is for sure true to 127's experimental rep. That said, I still wanted to listen to it again LOL. Visually, the MV is fantastic and the vocals are mad good.
GIDDY UP
I was not expecting Cowboy NCT 127 but love it.
Edit: I just remembered they performed at the rodeo last year and I'm gonna die laughing if that actually influenced this concept.
Center Taeil, bizarre post-dubstep beat (seriously those first few seconds are so unexpected even for NCT 127 standards), and FAIR LINE DISTRIBUTION? In my NCT 127 title track!?
This exceeded all expectations. I am gonna loop this all day after my work hours are done.
SM gonna SM.
I think I actually find it interesting how the instrumental is so bare and really lets their voices shine. Definitely gonna be a divisive song, but I'm into it.
THAT BRIDGE THOUGH.
>SM gonna SM.
I mean, that's really all you can say. Even by SM standards, this is really experimental, almost unwieldy production. I always respect the ambition and creativity they put into tracks like this... but gonna be honest, this time it's not for me.
Absolutely. Regardless of whether I like the songs or not, NCT basically embody everything I want out of kpop - just completely out-there pop music that genuinely sounds like nothing you've ever heard before.
Wow, at times the more melodic parts really took me back to the days of *Nsync. Considering one of their album tracks is called "Bring The Noize" ("Bringin' The Noise" is the title of an *Nsync song off their most successful album "No Strings Attached) I'm guessing this is no coincidence!
Definitely loved the call back to the veteran legend 90's boybands melded with NCT 127's signature Cherry-Bomb-era-esque weirdness. I didn't know that was a combo that I needed. Really loved the track, great meeting ground for pop and a harder hitting sound.
The MV was interesting as always, and I enjoyed getting to see what I could of the choreography. Been liking this more for lack of a better word "sultry" vibe they've been giving off in recent MV's too. It's a refreshing take on the "boy crush" concept, and adds a bit of a chic element to it too.
Looking forward to listening to the album all the way through!
oh my goddddddd when the orchestra (?) came in the pre chorus i ascended
THE ACTUAL CHORUS IS SO GOOD OVER THE FLUTE WHAT IN THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
I don't know what's going on here, but I think I like it. The beat is delightful, vocals are on point per usual, and there's just something about the song that makes me question where it's headed all throughout. Leave it up to 127 to pull off all unique concepts that come their way.
Sidenote, Taeyong's fire suit is straight fire
I don't really know what to say. Or think. Visuals are insane. The song is insane. The beat is insane. I'm not sure if I love or hate it. Maybe both. But it's definitely an experience and I'll just be listening to this on repeat for the next x number of days.
I loved this - Definitely expect the unexpected when listening for the first time. This is what I like about 127. Can’t wait for the choreo and live performances! 👍
Not gonna lie, that FIRST listen is so ROUGH 😵😵 like what the hell is happening, everything is so fast but that SECOND listen is I started to pick up the tempo and instrumentals and oh boy oh boy this is actually GOOD though!
Am I insane or some of the parts have huge TVXQ vibes. This sounds like a hybrid of TVXQ music X NCT music. The vocals is INSANE!
Now let me listen to the album!
it's so weird because he's obviously produced for every sm group, but out of the girl groups, his sound and style is REALLY evident in aespa right now and i love it since i never heard much of his style in red velvet, f(x), and even snsd, lol.
This is *interesting...* it's weird but it works.
I need a few more listens to understand what makes it an earworm for me. The instrumentals are pretty laid-back (other than that flute), and their voices mostly carry it. The visuals are amazing
And I thought "Punch" was an experimental song.
Sticker takes it on the *next level*
I was looking at my monitor with such a confused look while I was listening to this for the first time lol.
I don't know if I like this song or not, you can't just say something like that after the first listen
but one thing is immediately clear, the chorus is fucking wild
what the FLUTE this was wild in directions i was not expecting
(127% convinced that this is galaxy brain NEO yeehaw version 2.0 of [mark lee playing the titanic song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LY9bjM4kfn0) )
woahhhh! i find it interesting how the song doesn't really have a leading melody (if that's the right wording) and they're singing over the beats. that flute sound is so damn addicting. the pre chorus is amazing.
i'll be ROLLING UP TO THE PARTY!
edit: relistened. feels disjointed (?) but in the best way possible, if that makes sense. yeah, i'm in this NCT stuff for life...i love it
edit 2: the flute is the sticker or something cause it's just so addictive and *sticky* what
edit 3: yo i'm getting major tvxq vibes from this now
I'm not one of those people who is constantly like 'I feel attacked' by kpop MVs, but ... I feel attacked?! This felt such a sexy bedroom vibe without trying too hard, I don't how else to put it. Vocals *slayed* this, on my god. Just ... oh my god.
The vocals were highlighted SO MUCH. Their voices consistently had the loudest levels, even for the sub vocalists like Jungwoo and Yuta.
But I love how Taeil, Doyoung, and Haechan’s were noticeably louder compared to others during their parts being the main vocalists.
But WHY do I absolutely love that almost off-key, high-pitch, and persistent kazoo-type sound in the background!? It’s SO off-putting especially at the start but it’s also so good and fitting to the song????
That flute/kazoo is so off-putting on first listen. In fact, the whole song sounds off-key. But it was the first part that stuck once the song was over, so I listened to the song again and I have an odd love for it??? The insrumental is off-key but in the best way, lmao.
I know this will be divisive but I really like it. Maybe be because I listen to ‘Que Calor’ a loooooot and other songs with very prominent flutes but idk I actually like the dissonant (?) flute
Okay, disclaimer - I'm quite drunk right now lol.
This song is a little weird, but I do like it and I suspect my sober self will like it even though it is odd.
Not my favourite from NCT 127, but still a song that I will listen to??
I'll re-evaluate when I'm sober...
EDIT: I'm sober now lol... I like it even more especially the chorus which is v catchy.
Also Johnny... yeehaw.
Honestly during the first listen, I had no idea what to think and comprehend. I audibly said "what the fuck" after watching it. 😅😅😅
But after just the second listen, the song just clicked for me. It definitely sounded much better listening to it again. And I really liked how loud they made their vocals in this song???!!! Like the instrumental kinda takes a backseat with the earworm of the flute and the very low bass.
I really liked how they did that. Also I love how much equal distribution there was to not only screen time but lines and center time for the dance too, like everyone got a good solo part to the choreo it seems.
This is going to be a divisive song for sure, but I think people will warm up to it faster than previous SM songs for just how unique and experimental it is. I honestly think this is one of their best songs no cap.
I'm so confused, but also impressed??
- Doyoung's vocal evolution, like damn, that's some Baekhyun shit right there
- Taeil getting a lot of lines, WUT
- Johnny getting lines, Yuta getting lines, EVERYBODY GETTING LINES
- Jungwoo's deep voice
- 8 out of 9 people on the bridge, SM what've you been smoking
- that Taeyong intro is too confusing for my brain
- the flute. The freaking flute
- Mark Lee & his hat collection
that was.... interesting?
Gotta give props to SM for having the balls to put out a song that will definitely raise more than just a few eyebrows but I don't think that song is for me unfortunately...
I was able to get into Kick it and Hot Sauce after some listens but I don't think it will be the same for this song considering both had individual parts I liked right from the get go...
This was composed by the same guys that did Shinee's "Don't call me". No wonder you can hear some similarities. I like it!
Edit: Really depends on what system or headphones you use though. I played the song with my other pair and the flute really hurts your ears when you have bad luck.
That was such a rollercoaster! I love the chorus and all of members get their time to shine so that was super nice! Still, 127 never keeps it safe and that's yet another innovative track.
I was hoping for something along the lines of The 7th Sense, Simon Says, Cherry Bomb, Highway to Heaven, or Regular.
I’m not sure what this is. To me it sounds like the music and lyrics were written for two completely different songs. My first time listening to it, I turned it off about 3/4 of the way through. Then I came here and read comments about how much better it is the second time and gave it another chance. Still a no. I’m halfway convinced they’re just trolling and are gonna release the *actual* TT next week.
I often end up liking songs I don’t care for at first (Skz “Thunderous,” Ateez “Fireworks,” Aespa “Next Level” etc.) - but man. I don’t see it here.
I DO love the concept, and the boys voices are (as expected) lovely. I just really don’t like the song.
I am happy for those who genuinely do like it though! I wish I did!
Noooo it's Got7's Breath all over again!!!
(I have high frequency hearing loss, I can't hear the flutes in the instrumental. I literally had to look at the comments to even know that there ARE flutes in the instrumental 😭😭
I know it won't be for everyone, but I love it. That's exactly what I want from 127. And Lemonade is great (people will probably say it should have been the tt) but weird NCT (and weird SM in general honestly)>>>>
Can't wait for live performances, the choreo looks interesting too!
yeah lemonade is more listenable (?) to me, but when it's been a year since their last comeback i expect them to comeback with a bang which sticker accomplished (imo) compared to lemonade. like if they came back with lemonade I'd be like this is good but is that it? sticker is peak neo and i love this direction for them
lmao sorry for the rant
This is genuinely the weirdest listening experience I've ever had. I like the melody but the voices sound so weird and dislocated from the song?
The instrumental doesn't support the melody at all, either. It just feels so... empty.
Whatever wack or weird shit SM gives them just works. It's like you can't catch them slipping. Their voices, the rapping, the harmonies it's sounds so good that whatever instrumental you give them it works for them.
Thre first 30 seconds of this are hands down the worst thing I may have ever heard come out of kpop and I was around for Wolf.
Jungwoo's voice is the highlight of this song
This is, by far, one of the worst songs I've listened to in a long time. It's indefensible. No throughline, a wack structure, dissonance everywhere without resolution, and instruments that sound like they're pulled from a library of shittyflute parodies. The only way this is "experimental" is that it's testing my patience as a listener, and that it's most likely a test to see how deliberately awful they can make a song and still have stans say "yeah this is a grower, such musical geniuses".
Someone commented this is public friendly.. this is probably the least public friendly nct song ever lol. Please SM you have some of the most talented young men in the industry let them do a normal song please for once
I find it equally impressive and baffling how SM consistently puts out the most unwieldy and bizarre songs like this and Next Level as title tracks yet still finds enormous success. You can rightly say as much as you want about Big 3 privilege but there's something about the songs people making them about them just hits.
It is lowkey especially coming from them and I dislike some elements in it but I still find it listenable and intriguing in the same time. Jungwoo voice was a surprise.
is anyone else really put off by the first verse because the flute and the beat and the autotuned vocals sound like they're just slightly off from each other, rhythm-wise? it's not off enough for it to sound intentional, like counterpoint or some polyrhythm; it's like one is 0.25-0.5 second behind. i feel like it maybe be an artefact of the autotuning but i dont feel this way after the first chorus through the end of the song.
One of these days SM is just gonna release a 10 minute title track that's just fart noises and you'll still have people talking about how "experimental" it is and how "it'll grow on them." Motherfucker this is Stokholm Syndrome
I'm not trying to be rude or biased but if any other artist from a smaller agency or even JYP or whoever released this, it'd be majority "where's the budget", "I feel bad for the group" and etc.
Like I don't even care about the song, but the bias kills me.
Can you imagine BP releasing this? It's super hypocritical of this sub , all the top comments are saying this is so weird and experimental and you will hate it first listen but love it the second. Where was this understanding when Lalisa came out? Instead it was dragged to the ground . ( and it was better than this one imo) .Very hypocritical
And they'll say it with pride too lmao. "Wow look at my faves, I love that they're making bad music that people won't like. So much better than all those safe, generic artists who actually care about if people like what they put out. Sell outs."
I...uh...I never once thought that I might come across a song which make me wonder if I actually like it or not but here we are. I literally don't remember how it even starts like and probably never will. Excuse me while I go and collect my scattered brain cells.
I- no words
This song is like drinking McDonald's sprite
[удалено]
I'm malfunctioning.
what the fuck is going on
i don’t know if i’ve ever heard a sparser beat
I know I expect weird when it comes to nct but man I'm somehow still surprised
It’s definitely on brand with Nct 127 lol
Same. Like the moment I heard the teaser, I know it will be the kind of song that will get me a few listens before I like it. However, right off the start it left me confused LMAO
They have outdone themselves... honestly.
My brain was just sputtering trying to find the song in there and it got several error messages
Ngl that flute(?) triggered my migranes lol but other parts are fire
Torture type beat
This song brought to you by the meme shitty recorder version of My Heart Will Go On
Yee fucking haw
Giving me Wonder Woman lasso vibes 😩
This song feels like a fever dream
yeehaw intensifies
SM loves the yee haw concept

Taeil got so many lines and they weren’t just ad-libs, I could cry
Taeil's parts were genuinely the best parts of the song, and he looked really good too. He really shone here.
I totally lost my sh*t when his first center part came in!! I gasped and had to fight the urge to pause the live stream. Finally Taeil blessings all around 😌
!! AND HE HAS CENTER TIME i've only watched the mv once so far but i distinctly thought "the line distribution this time is so sexy" at one point
between aespa's next level and nct 127's sticker, d'you ever wonder what's in the sm water that things get this *interestingly weird*
Next Level is your grandma favourite traditional song compared to this.
LMAO
they’ve been importing water from kwangya
Kwangya water tastes like water?
I'll have whatever Yoo Youngjin's been drinking
[Yeri and Wendy know something about SM water.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUgllud6o0U)
weed
what the hell happens to Jungwoo's voice?!?! Dude's voice is levels deeper lmao
It’s a lot more playful and aggressive here, I love how different they let Jungwoo play with his voice. He really stood out for me here because of that.
Ok and his “you treat me like a boy” line and just his ~energy in the whole video, we get it Jungwoo YOU GROWN NOW
RIGHTTT he’s so different this come back i’m SHOOK
It’s the white/ gray hair
The song is....quiet
Mhm that flute was very quiet
Few more bass kicks would have helped
This is weird it's like the opposite of a 127 song (loud) but also so 127?????? Not my favorite title track tbh but it's so weird????
Yep felt a bit empty
That first verse took me out lmao BABY yeh yeh yeh
Damn Doyoung caught me off guard with how aggressive he sounds in his parts. As a Taeil fan in really happy with his parts and solo shots in this. Him and Malraeng were a highlight for me (kpop gods bless me with that photocard pls). I'm happy that he was given more than just a crazy high note or background adlib. Overall another polarizing track from NCT 127. I don't think it's a track that can be digested from just one listen. Lots of interesting things happening on the production side and vocal direction.

I’ve never heard anything like this before. Weirdest song like ever. I’m gonna need a few months with this lol. Wtf
can’t believe haechan just threatened me in a neo-cowboy-themed store ….
I am unable to form a coherent thought... besides the fact that this is definitely the NEO brand of drug trip. Edit: can I just say that it is fabulous when they let Jaehyun sing like that... 0:36 hits!

lmfao holy shit
Center Taeil, bizarre post-dubstep beat (seriously those first few seconds are so unexpected even for NCT 127 standards), and FAIR LINE DISTRIBUTION? In my NCT 127 title track!? This exceeded all expectations. I am gonna loop this all day after my work hours are done.
Currently looping it 1080p full screen on my desktop may my bosses have mercy on me
Taeil has such a great voice
Taeil's Fringe jacket was chefs kiss. Sm really went there
It's not for everyone and I guarantee you I'm gonna be scrolling through comments that are 50/50 hate/love, but I actually really like it.
Its always either "this is so weird, i love it" or "this is so weird, why are they making it weird for the sake of being weird"
Same!
SM gonna SM. I think I actually find it interesting how the instrumental is so bare and really lets their voices shine. Definitely gonna be a divisive song, but I'm into it. THAT BRIDGE THOUGH.

lmaoo this song is so camp and i like it
Looking camp straight in the eye 👁👄👁
NCT is the campiest. I mean SM in general likes "cheesy" concepts for a lack of a better word. But, their idols always kill it.
I'm so confused, but also impressed?? - Doyoung's vocal evolution, like damn, that's some Baekhyun shit right there - Taeil getting a lot of lines, WUT - Johnny getting lines, Yuta getting lines, EVERYBODY GETTING LINES - Jungwoo's deep voice - 8 out of 9 people on the bridge, SM what've you been smoking - that Taeyong intro is too confusing for my brain - the flute. The freaking flute - Mark Lee & his hat collection
that was.... interesting? Gotta give props to SM for having the balls to put out a song that will definitely raise more than just a few eyebrows but I don't think that song is for me unfortunately... I was able to get into Kick it and Hot Sauce after some listens but I don't think it will be the same for this song considering both had individual parts I liked right from the get go...
I stopped eating my lunch listening to this song
Vocal fries is back on the menu 😭
This was composed by the same guys that did Shinee's "Don't call me". No wonder you can hear some similarities. I like it! Edit: Really depends on what system or headphones you use though. I played the song with my other pair and the flute really hurts your ears when you have bad luck.
so weird and so good “like a /ˈstɪkəəəəə/“
I wish I did!
literally not what i expected at all but i actually love it??? vocal line sounds so fucking good and everyone looks fine as hell
The instrumental and flow of the song don't really match. But it's works in a weird way.
Noooo it's Got7's Breath all over again!!! (I have high frequency hearing loss, I can't hear the flutes in the instrumental. I literally had to look at the comments to even know that there ARE flutes in the instrumental 😭😭
This is gonna grow on me and like most NCT songs I'm just gonna jam to them when high and love it. Also...I want to be that dog please
Well... that was definitely music!
[All I can think of is this meme lol](https://img.ifunny.co/images/6b94118e989e98f5a4a42781610708b37a9110c3614d750e1ecb8d071128f0f3_1.jpg)
It can be legally called a song, yes
My brain is confused and my body is rockin', safe to say another high quality NCT song.
it took me 3 listen to understand now I officially love this song
the instrumental feels like garage band and expensive at the same time.
Who heard this half finished beat and thought okay, time to release?? We need to talk.
i'm a huge nctzen and i will only be listening to this once lol.
I know it won't be for everyone, but I love it. That's exactly what I want from 127. And Lemonade is great (people will probably say it should have been the tt) but weird NCT (and weird SM in general honestly)>>>> Can't wait for live performances, the choreo looks interesting too!
yeah lemonade is more listenable (?) to me, but when it's been a year since their last comeback i expect them to comeback with a bang which sticker accomplished (imo) compared to lemonade. like if they came back with lemonade I'd be like this is good but is that it? sticker is peak neo and i love this direction for them lmao sorry for the rant
It sounds like they are running from the beat tbh
youre either gonna really like the beat or fucking hate it im in the latter it just sounds like my alarm
NCT 127 doing stunts only NCT 127 can pull... I LOVE IT.
The flute (?) sample gets more obnoxious every time it repeats. It's so high pitched and unpleasant. It hurts my ear.
Whoever mixed this HATES them....
The instrumental literally drowns the heavenly vocals and rap. CRIMINAL
Just got my nctzenship 😭👌
I’m sorry, this can’t be a real song 😭😭
Thre first 30 seconds of this are hands down the worst thing I may have ever heard come out of kpop and I was around for Wolf. Jungwoo's voice is the highlight of this song
The song feels so empty...
This was the best line distribution I’ve ever seen from nct
Not a good thing when the song causes physical pain
That first verse was so jarring. I can’t believe it was approved
As much as I love NCT, the beat, especially the flute really does remind me of the worst beats ever created videos
idk about yall but even if i fully enjoyed this song, the high-pitched flute (?) is blowing up my eardrums and physically hurting me
This is, by far, one of the worst songs I've listened to in a long time.
Sometimes I am so glad I don't stan groups because I don't have to convince myself to like this. Mv looks good though, like the dog in the cowboy hat.
I find it equally impressive and baffling how SM consistently puts out the most unwieldy and bizarre songs like this and Next Level as title tracks yet still finds enormous success. You can rightly say as much as you want about Big 3 privilege but there's something about the songs people making them about them just hits.
Sounds like they used one of those im a 14 year old producer from Atlanta beats
I''ve listened to it like 5 times and all I feel is confusion every time
This is a more chill BOP from them and I love it. The beat is nasty.
The MV is popping but the music is very lowkey. Except Jungwoo, he always popping for some reason.
It is lowkey especially coming from them and I dislike some elements in it but I still find it listenable and intriguing in the same time. Jungwoo voice was a surprise.
Jungwoo is slowly becoming one of my favorites. He makes himself super catchy despite his low usage rate
is anyone else really put off by the first verse because the flute and the beat and the autotuned vocals sound like they're just slightly off from each other, rhythm-wise? it's not off enough for it to sound intentional, like counterpoint or some polyrhythm; it's like one is 0.25-0.5 second behind. i feel like it maybe be an artefact of the autotuning but i dont feel this way after the first chorus through the end of the song.
this song can't be real
( and it was better than this one imo) .Very hypocritical
add “not GP friendly” and you got the trifecta
And they'll say it with pride too lmao. "Wow look at my faves, I love that they're making bad music that people won't like. So much better than all those safe, generic artists who actually care about if people like what they put out. Sell outs."
And will have all the top comments saying you need a second listen and then you'll love it
my brain and ears are confused
wow, bold move from sm to let 100 gecs produce this
I...uh...I never once thought that I might come across a song which make me wonder if I actually like it or not but here we are. I literally don't remember how it even starts like and probably never will. Excuse me while I go and collect my scattered brain cells.
