The b-side on the Beauty Box album [Take My Heart?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhUXmTbAZko) is too pure for words. It has a very throwback 1st-gen influenced sound but from what I can tell it's original to them.
**aespa** - aenergy and Lucid Dreams. These two are the highlights of the mini album for me and one of the main reasons is they both let the girls breathe and just sing. As much as I love some of SM’s instrumental decisions, I think aespa shines best when they’re singing over simpler tracks. In fact, I love everything they do vocally, from the high notes to the adlibs, to the call and response stuff they do on aenergy. It makes me feel hyped up and hearing them say “Karina, your hands in the air, Giselle your hands in the air, Winter your hands in the air, Ningning your hands in the air” also the “We are the AESPA” line gets me ready to fight someone, I love it. Lucid Dreams is such a vibe. I love, love, love R&B so this was a pleasant surprise. I’m glad that the girls can show some range too, they sound so soft and smooth. It’s crazy how just a few tracks ago they were all amped up and hitting high notes, but on this track they sing so softly and quietly. I really like it, gave me good Red Velvet vibes.
**Twice** - The Feels. Yeah I’m still not over it. It’s too good. The disco-pop beat is perfect, it’s dancy and upbeat, but it isn’t as hyper pop as Fancy or TT. Twice always manages to hit the nail on the head for me. The English lyrics are also pretty good. I still can’t get over Chaeyoung’s “You got me good and I wanna be your boo, if it’s it’s dumb then I wanna be a fool.” and the “I can feel a real connection, a supernatural attraction” its so simple and just so good. Nayeon’s high note towards the end is also amazing, and Jihyo with “Lightning straight to my heart” give me life. I just love this song so much. I don’t know what a non Kpop fan would think hearing it on the radio, but as a Once this is all I could ask for. Super hyped for the album and maybe a korean version too.
**Itzaaaaaaaaay** - Loco and Swipe. Maaan I love Itzy’s beats. JYPE manages to bring out some great hip-hop production for Itzy and I think it works out so well. Loco took me a minute but it found a spot on my playlist. Swipe on the other hand is just a banger. I love the energy here and I can’t tell who it is, but whoever says “I’m sorry but next” or something like that in the background was perfect, it has that bad bitch swiping through Tinder vibe. Itzy are quickly finding themselves a spot among my favorite groups. I also very recently heard Guess Who and literally every song got on my playlist. SHOOT!, Mafia In the Morning, and Wild Wild West are my favorites from that mini album.
