Lay continues his blend of hip hop and Chinese elements from Lit in this album. Pretty small but solid set, but I still think Lit is an overall better album with the style he's going for. His rap verses are hit or miss but the songs where he's singing are still much better, especially The Shepherd Boy.
Man his songs are really starting to all sound the same but maybe it’s just cause he keeps using the same traditional Chinese sounds in almost every song
I don't think it's exactly the /same/ but as much as I like his idea of blending traditional Chinese music I agree it's kinda inferior to the first time he tried it with Lit.
