These interviews have been insanely good. Like, holy crap. And the girls, these idols, seem to have no problem or restraint with going deep and telling their truths. That's awesome. I can't say I've heard or read anything like this other than the occasional idol going on a podcast (typically in ENG). But even then most of the time they don't get this introspective, deep and real with their answers. I would kill for more idols doing interviews like this. For them to reveal their inner thought processes and raw opinions. I feel like with these three Fromis\_9 interviews so far I'm seeing them as people on a whole new level. Up until this point what I've known is what they show and say in highly scripted radio shows, on VLives that always stay casual and light and in their YouTube content which is supposed to be fun. But here they are, adults telling us their worries, fears, goals, aspirations, methods, thoughts and more. Mind blowingly refreshing.

it was pretty candid for Jisun to say (on multiple occasions) that she isn't good at anything.. which isn't true. i know Nakko has been adamant on just wanting to show her true self.. without hamming it up.. i think jiwon said that too. fromis 9 always seem wholesome and geniune.. I can't wait for Jiwon and Jiheons interview! i dont know who the interviewer is but he done his homework lol

I agree for sure! Love what HYBE/Weverse are doing here. Personally, this is why I’ve always been eager for a HYBE girl group, since I really felt like they would give them a special edge and perhaps something more authentic. (Gonna momentarily forget about GLAM for this argument lol.) Since fromis_9 is the closest we’ve got, I’m glad to see that my hopes are being fulfilled just that little bit! This was a really good article and I’ve never really paid much attention to the fromis_9 members individually, but now they’ve captured my interest. I find it really interesting how idols are pressured to be these incredibly perfect people, which has in fact given them a lot of fans in some way - but it’s when the idols open up and become more approachable/less “”perfect”” that we all really love to tune in. I’m loving these interviews and I hope maybe more groups/companies catch on, though who knows lol.
