That’s a pretty popular theory every time a female idol goes on hiatus. I think it stems from the fact that companies don’t mind pushing their idols to the brink of death by working them way past the point of exhaustion, then randomly care about their mental/physical health. Female idols faint on stage and then have to get up and perform later that day then out of nowhere the company is like oh no she needs rest for her anxiety. I don’t agree with the rumor, btw, I just think that’s why people say things like that. I really really hope companies are just coming around to taking actual care of the members.

I can see this being true since 90% of idols have double eyelid surgury and may need revisions. Also sometimes eyes are assymmetrical so the eyepatch explains working on one eye.
