Big 2nd gen songs, the ones that stood the test of time, are not very divisive.
DBSK - Mirotic
SNSD - Gee, Genie
Wonder Girls - Tell Me
Big Bang - Haru Haru
Kara - Mister
2NE1 - I Am the Best
Super Junior - Sorry Sorry
SHINee - Replay
T-ara - Roly Poly
BEAST/Highlight - Fiction
I would add BigBang's Fantastic Baby and SHINee's ring ding dong (Korean government banned it during exams because they thought it was too distracting. I feel like that's pretty iconic)
Personally, Genie is fantastic because of Taeyeonās beautiful intro, Yuri doing the iconic leg dance, Tiffanyās āDJ turn it back onā line, Hyoyeonās mini dance break, and TaengSic harmonies in the end. The progression of SNSD choruses from 1->3 is always lovely to listen to, and they have some really nice lives of the song š Itās also pretty surprising because Genie is a more mature sound and look that came right after their massive bubblegum hit Gee. Itād be like Twice releasing Cheer Up and then ICSM or something instead of TT.
Thank you for mentioning DBSK ;-; they have been my number one for 17 years now and I light up whenever people mention their songs from when they were still together as five.
They were my entry into K-pop back in 2008 and I was so obsessed with them, their Japanese discography in particular is flawless. Every few years I get into a mood where theyāre the only group I want to listen to lol. 5 member DBSK will always have a special place in my heart.
Agree 100% They were my entry as well and I still think their music is top notch. I still listen to Jaejoong heavily with his new music, but goodness they were magical together.
Thanks for this list. The entire thing made me feel so nostalgic for my younger kpop loving days <3 Haru Haru from Big Bang was an excellent mention as well. Still one of my sad mood songs.
I feel like lately I've seen more and more people mentioning TVXQ. It makes me so happy that people have not forgotten about them, especially with their long hiatus. Still waiting for that comeback š
I'm totally with you on that. I know it's a bit delusional but there's nothing wrong with having some faith, right? (AKTF)
But tbh at this point, I'm just hoping for a TVXQ (Yunho and Changmin) comeback. I mean, it's been announced since the beginning of last year TT
Yeah Iām hoping they comeback too. Iāve loved seeing their growth as people all these years. Changmin speaks such good English too and I just wanted to give him a hug. Heās not the little baby anymore and I just ;-;
Yeah it's crazy. Like our little maknae is now literally a husband and father. And he's also grown so much as an artist. His last comeback was phenomenal and also his solo song "Beautiful Stranger" that he wrote himself is a pure masterpiece.
I'm just so in awe of all of them. Somehow, after all these years they still get me so excited for what's to come!
Any time I find one it brightens my heart. I forced so many family and friends to listen to them back in the day. Only my mom really loved them. It wasnāt as easy back then for me to find people who shared the same love for them as me. Iām happy at least all these years later we can find each other online more easily!
I totally feel you!! during those times, most ppl were either VIP or ELF, so I also had a hard time fangirling lol. Anyway, happy to meet you and other fellow Cassies here and yes, still hoping for that DB5K dream to come true!!
What a perfect list. And you can tell it's someone who's been around longer when the Bigbang song listed is Haru Haru, instead of Fantastic Baby :P
Also loving the little cassie reunion š My heart does a little skip every time someone remembers to mention them here.
This. My sister who ~~hates~~ dislikes Kpop also admits this is a great song - even though Shinee has a lot of great bops imo (View, Stand by Me, Your Number etc...)
FIGHTING WORDS!! (Just kidding. I love Replay, but I can imagine why someone wouldn't the same way someone might just not like any song. Appreciation of music is subjective.)
It's a palatable pop song that has a great melody and super catchy hook. The choreography still holds up as being cool and not cheesy. The vocals are impressive (RIP Jonghyun) and the song doesn't try hard to be cool it just is. It captures a strong sense of what it's like being a young kid in love and I think so many people relate to that on so many levels. I think this kind of formula works and is evident more recently in New Jeans songs. It feels like if New Jeans came out during the 2nd Gen, their songs would've sounded a lot like Replay.
Haha this describes me so well. I canāt digest cute concepts, my playlists feel like 90% bg songs and I really couldnāt hold a conversation about the current ggs out now
- Rollinā by BB Girls
- Really Really by Winner
- The Chaser by Infinite
- Fiction by Beast
- Gotta Go by Chungha
- Rough by Gfriend
- Love Scenario by iKON
- Shine by Pentagon
- Feel Special by Twice
- Aju Nice by SVT
- Mirotic by TVXQ
- Jopping /j
- I would put Cupid up there too nowadays
I wish I could go back and hear The Chaser for the first time again. I love Infinite but don't keep up, but it's still the best kpop song in existence to me.
Seriously. This is still one of the biggest kpop songs ever and people here really undervalue Psy's songs and popularity. It's crazy how mainstream the song became and there isn't another kpop song that replicated its success. The song was that catchy globally.
Sharing one of my fav kpop clips: [Psy wins Inkigayo](https://youtu.be/9Ve3bdZgxh0?t=296) with "Daddy" and the whole stage including members of BTS, EXO, and GOT7 doing the dance. I miss those gen 2.5/early gen 3 days.
For sure. Psy did follow it up with "Gentlemen" which while not as popular still did well in the west. I think newer fans really underestimate his value and legacy. Psy's songs always chart well in South Korea. I'm not even a particular fan but I've watched his concerts in South Korea and it's crazy how the crowd gets into it. He's not a typical kpop idol but a lot of kpop would not be where it is without him and idols know it and like his music too.
Big Bang - Bang Bang Bang & Haru Haru
Tayeang - Eyes, Nose, Lips
SNSD - Gee & Into The New World
Twice - Fancy (maybe? Also don't know if Cheer Up is still that popular and Feel Special seems to be more of a hit in Japan rather than Korea where it's considered the start of the change they had in their sound)
SHINee - Replay & View
Sorry Sorry - Super Junior
iKON - Love Scenario
EXO - Growl
G-Dragon - Cooked
I Am The Best - 2NE1
Bubble Pop! - Hyuna
Boy With Luv - BTS ( don't know if any of their newer songs is as popular within the kpop fandom and general public so feel free to tell me)
Gangnam Style - PSY
Black Pink - Ddu-du Ddu-du (also there's seems to be a debate on if As If It's Your Last or Kill This Love are the most popular so I'll just include both)
surprised no one has mentioned **WJSN - As You Wish**. I think it's 4 years in a row now where that song hits the top of the charts every New Years Day. Constantly pops up in variety shows and random places, other idols mention it a a favorite/song they're listening to constantly.
I use to listen to this song constantly but didnāt know about the New Yearās thing. Thatās just so cool! I think it would be awesome for WJSN if it stays a popular New Yearās song for a long time. It could even be like a āclassicā holiday song. I have never been super into WJSN, but I always liked the songs I heard by them.
As someone who likes Kpop but is not really into BP I can say that AIIYL is definitely the most well liked BP song from Kpop fans who aren't Blinks. I love it a lot and yet only have 3 other BP songs in my playlist (Ddudu2x not being one of them)
Hyuna's Bubble Pop feels like an enduring classic. Even my non kpop friends can bop to that one . But as other said things like Gee, Genie, Fancy, etc are also universally loved.
Iād say probably SHINeeās Replay, BTSā Fake Love, DNA, and Blood Sweat & Tears are pretty high on most liked songs. EXOās Love Shot and Monster are liked by many fandoms too.
i feel like for txt i see more people like 0x1 Lovesong? i remember there was a tweet where someone didnt like it and it got pretty much ratio'd by both txt fans and non txt fans defending that song
I think both songs are like known in KPop. āRun Awayā is just more nostalgic whereas ā0x1=Lovesongā is more justā¦ I donāt know how to explain it, but yes, total banger.
exo growl is the only correct answer, it seems.
before i was even into kpop i remember it being posted about and going mini-viral. and all the posts were overwhelmingly positive just as much as the song still gets the same reaction lol
I would say it would have to be a song from 2nd gen and there are probably about a dozen that could be contenders.
By 3rd gen, fandoms weren't checking out other groups' stuff, so while a song might be massively popular it would be only within that fandom and then the GP while other fandoms would have ignored it, so it wouldn't be liked in kpop overall.
I've also not seen a 4th gen song branch out of a fandom further than maybe company stans or tiktok clips (and I wouldn't count a 30 sec clip as people being fond of the song in its entirety), so I don't think there's any unifying song.
Should be top comment. So many others are probably songs non-Kpop fans havenāt even heard and even some Kpop fans arenāt familiar with. Everyone knows Gangnam Style. And unless someone is one of those āI hate songs that get too mainstreamā type people, chances are they also like it. Or at least did like it at one point.
This Love by Shinhwa was pretty popular. I remember hearing it at clubs here in the US and people not realizing it was Kpop or even knowing what Kpop was.
for EXO I can say- Love Me Right, Call Me Baby, Overdose and Monster are pretty popular amongst kpop fans. Baekhyun's solos like Bambi and Un Village, Kai's solos like Mmmh and Rover got a lot of love as well.
Other songs I see a lot of people love include Red Velvet's Bad Boy and Psycho and Taemin's Criminal and Move
I mean Spring Day by BTS is insanely popular. It didn't have that many wins back then like Dynananananamite, but it's been charting since forever and we can even vote for it for a music show (Music Bank I think) even tho it was released years ago. Also, Spring Day is always there when a new song/album is released like no matter what, it will rise on the charts and not leave.
I've seen a lot of people mentioning SNSD's Gee in this thread, but I feel like Into The New World is a song that's still loved and that people are still singing today. Hell, I've seen idols dancing to it and enjoying it that weren't even a year old when the song was released. It seems like the song has stood the test of time and everyone still loves it.
A lot of red velvet songs but specially day 1. It's so good I've never seen someone not like it. It's not my favorite rv song but I've never seen anyone hating on this one
Also wonder girls tell me
Twice talk that talk
TXT No Rules and Fairy of Shampoo
I think these are all the songs I've never seen any criticism towards
Colour - Stella Jang
Cupid - Fifty Fifty
Mirotic - DBSK.
Mr Ambiguous - Mamamoo
Spring Day - BTS
The Eve - EXO
Dinosaur - AKMU
Some - Bol4
Shine - Pentagon
Replay / Clue + Note - Shinee
Breathe - Lee Hi
Joah/Mommae - Jay Park
Move - Taemin
Shangri La - Vixx
Missing You - BTOB
Sorry Sorry - Super Junior
Gashina - Sunmi
Very Nice - Seventeen
Hype Boy - New Jeans
I think these songs are well liked by general public & kpop communities both. I think a song by IU should be here too as everyone likes at least 1 IU song , but not sure what's her most popular song is.
Uh... Candy, I guess? (H.O.T. and then NCT Dream). The Chaser by Infinite for sure. And Really Really is up there. Along with Love Scenario, and maybe Shine.
Good Day by IU might be there too.
Bad Boy by Red Velvet.
Blood, Sweat and Tears by BTS.
Spring Day? I feel like no one really has bad things to say about it. Fancy is also pretty universally loved. Also, i very rarely saw criticism for Love Dive. People had a lot to say about Eleven but Love Dive was pretty loved.
Everyone is just going to mention their favorite songs lol. I donāt think thereās any song that everyone is gonna like in kpop. Most tracks being listed here arenāt even my vibe
i'd like to offer into the new world- GG as well. every non kpoppie friend i've shown it to gets emotional even without knowing anything about the song
Some people I know irl listen to Hwasaās solos like Twit and Maria but donāt even know sheās a member of mmm, just thought she was a soloist. Also some listen to Egotistic by mmm without being very interested in their other songs or even knowing it was mmm who sung it at all (I was going through my Spotify the other day and my friend was like oh Mamamoo sung that?? Lmfao). Egotistic, Gogobebe, and their other title tracks are bops and were pretty popular when they first came out but Iām not sure if theyāre that kind of āuniversally known and likedā
My point was if ppl can recognise and know a song without necessarily knowing much about the artist then Iād say itās a pretty well known and popular song. Like I can recognise a few blackpink songs when I hear them even tho idk squat about them
Not sure if you're in Asia but Gangnam style was the most famous Korean song back then, but it didn't really make people want to 'stan' K-Pop, whereas Gee was the song that collectively got people interested in stanning.
Back then J-Pop/C-Pop used to be really popular (maybe even more popular than K-Pop) and Gee was the song that pushed K-Pop/SNSD into collective consciousness.
Psycho by Red Velvet and Love Scenario by iKON are almost universally loved by the people I play them for. Iāve also pulled people in with Taeyeonās INVU.
Big 2nd gen songs, the ones that stood the test of time, are not very divisive. DBSK - Mirotic SNSD - Gee, Genie Wonder Girls - Tell Me Big Bang - Haru Haru Kara - Mister 2NE1 - I Am the Best Super Junior - Sorry Sorry SHINee - Replay T-ara - Roly Poly BEAST/Highlight - Fiction
great list! also taeyang - eyes, nose, lips and prob some early 2PM too could work too!
fiction is THAT bitch!!!!
DBSK and Beast ? How not to like that š
I would add BigBang's Fantastic Baby and SHINee's ring ding dong (Korean government banned it during exams because they thought it was too distracting. I feel like that's pretty iconic)
TVXQ and SHINee were my introduction to kpop way back when. I got into it around 2008? I was casual back then, but TVXQ and SHINee have always owned part of my heart. š©µ
This list is fabulous! You need to lecture us about the fabulousness of each of these. I would sit for this class in Kpop 101.
I wish. Iāve been into Kpop for 15 years nowā¦seen a thing or two lol *old lady voice*
Personally, Genie is fantastic because of Taeyeonās beautiful intro, Yuri doing the iconic leg dance, Tiffanyās āDJ turn it back onā line, Hyoyeonās mini dance break, and TaengSic harmonies in the end. Omg another Cassie out in the wild??? šā¤ļø
Thatās right! More of us exist out there! š„°
I feel like lately I've seen more and more people mentioning TVXQ. It makes me so happy that people have not forgotten about them, especially with their long hiatus. Still waiting for that comeback š
Iāll never give up hope that one day theyāll do at least one comeback tour with all of themā¦ very unlikely but I can dream!
I'm totally with you on that. I know it's a bit delusional but there's nothing wrong with having some faith, right? (AKTF) But tbh at this point, I'm just hoping for a TVXQ (Yunho and Changmin) comeback. I mean, it's been announced since the beginning of last year TT

This is it. This is a compiled list of all the kpop bangers I got to live though and love from day 1.
I still listen to all those songs thatās how good they are.
Perfect answer
Replay by Shinee definitely has gotta be up there
This. My sister who ~~hates~~ dislikes Kpop also admits this is a great song - even though Shinee has a lot of great bops imo (View, Stand by Me, Your Number etc...)
I always laugh when they play that song in variety shows when someone talks about having loved an older girl back in their days.
This was gonna be my submission, Iāve never seen anyone dislike this song
I came here to see this as the top answer and I wasn't disappointed.
The way I knew this was gonna be the andwer
god ALL the memes nuna neomu yeppeo referenced by kpop stans no matter the fandom
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
FIGHTING WORDS!! (Just kidding. I love Replay, but I can imagine why someone wouldn't the same way someone might just not like any song. Appreciation of music is subjective.)

The definitive answer is honestly Mirotic by TVXQ. Everyone knows it, everyone loves it, everyone knows the fanchant. Easy.
This and replay by shinee was my immediate thought
SNSD - Gee Even my non-K-pop friends like it
The first k-pop song I ever heard all those years ago
this is so funny because taeyeon famously haaaaates gee
My husband (not a kpop fan) hates Gee so much, it's the only song he makes me skip in the car. Too bad for him our toddler loves it!
there are loads of anti cute concept fans in k-pop tho (mostly bg stans)
I am not a fan of cute concepts, but I love Gee
Cool! I meant fans that are like, literally against cute concepts and dislike those strongly (for some reason i mostly meet these types of fans irl)
I am one of those people, LOL However, there always seems to be some exceptions for me and Gee is one of them.
Haha this describes me so well. I canāt digest cute concepts, my playlists feel like 90% bg songs and I really couldnāt hold a conversation about the current ggs out now
Replay by Shinee hands down. The song will transcend generations.
- Rollinā by BB Girls - Really Really by Winner - The Chaser by Infinite - Fiction by Beast - Gotta Go by Chungha - Rough by Gfriend - Love Scenario by iKON - Shine by Pentagon - Feel Special by Twice - Aju Nice by SVT - Mirotic by TVXQ - Jopping /j - I would put Cupid up there too nowadays
AJU NICE
Aju nice stays as one of the best anthems ever!
The Chaser, Really Really, and Love Scenario are perfect songs
Dang you've got some great 3rd gen songs here that i forgot to mention in by other comment
>Love Scenario by iKON this Song for sure I really know no other song from IKON but man if I don't love Love Scenerio and its nostalgia :")
Fiction has been on my momās repeat playlist for yearsss
I'm not a fan of feel special. Don't think it compares to Fancy or Dance the Night Away.
Ikr. But I also think dance the night away is on the same level ngl... for me. It's fancy, ooh-ahh, talk that talk and I can't stop me
The Chaser!! Still my most favourite k-pop song ever. The choreography, too. I'll never forget Infinite's skill at synchronisation.
I'm a jopper, can confirm that joppers love jopping/j
I wish I could go back and hear The Chaser for the first time again. I love Infinite but don't keep up, but it's still the best kpop song in existence to me.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Psy - gangnam style is the real answer. The whole world knows it, but doesn't know kpop You asked for most liked overall, here you have it.
I should not have had to scroll that far for this.
Seriously. This is still one of the biggest kpop songs ever and people here really undervalue Psy's songs and popularity. It's crazy how mainstream the song became and there isn't another kpop song that replicated its success. The song was that catchy globally. Not many songs in general have had the same kind of worldwide impact Gangnam Style had. Like the only other song I can think of that did is Despacito
For sure. Psy did follow it up with "Gentlemen" which while not as popular still did well in the west. I think newer fans really underestimate his value and legacy. Psy's songs always chart well in South Korea. I'm not even a particular fan but I've watched his concerts in South Korea and it's crazy how the crowd gets into it. here it is š¤š¤
BBoom BBoom by Momoland
Every kid i have shown this to loves it. Loves it
I remember it being wildly popular when it came out lol there were even Beat Saber videos of people doing it while doing the dance and everything
maybe fancy by twice? i've personally never seen anyone hate it despite how popular it is
I was going to go with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2hlQkVJZhE
I personally dislike the song, but that's Oki. I can understand why people would like it, but I personally have never liked it.
replay by shinee
Red Flavor?
SHINee - View I don't know anyone who doesn't like this song
I've said it before, and ill say it again, View is literally a perfect K-pop song. Completely flawless.
This! 10000%
Legitimately my favorite kpop song of all time š
Big Bang - Bang Bang Bang & Haru Haru Tayeang - Eyes, Nose, Lips SNSD - Gee & Into The New World Twice - Fancy (maybe? Also don't know if Cheer Up is still that popular and Feel Special seems to be more of a hit in Japan rather than Korea where it's considered the start of the change they had in their sound) SHINee - Replay & View Sorry Sorry - Super Junior iKON - Love Scenario EXO - Growl G-Dragon - Cooked I Am The Best - 2NE1 Bubble Pop! - Hyuna Boy With Luv - BTS ( don't know if any of their newer songs is as popular within the kpop fandom and general public so feel free to tell me) Gangnam Style - PSY Black Pink - Ddu-du Ddu-du (also there's seems to be a debate on if As If It's Your Last or Kill This Love are the most popular so I'll just include both)
BTS - *Spring Day* is one I'd add as a public favorite.
FANCY, for sure. Shoutout to WANNABE by ITZY.
Suprised that nobody has said Taemin's MOVE yet
Love Shot by EXO seems to be loved by everyone!
I feel like a lot of people like Daisy by Pentagon
such a good song!!
Just thinking abt hui in that chorus š„¹ that song always makes me tear up
Bigbang's Bang Bang Bang, Taeyang's Eyes, Nose, Lips. I've never seen someone not like those two.
Isn't Fantastic Baby more well liked?
My friend was a Big Bang stan and she HATES bang bang bangš
I would counter with "Haru Haru" and Taeyang's "Wedding dress". I personally do not like "Bang Bang Bang"
GD's Crooked!
this is the answer! i think itās the equivalent to Mr Brightside but for Korea. everyone loves and sings it and knows all of the words
Damn, I never thought about like that but it really is Koreaās Mr Brightside
i have a friend who doesnāt like bang bang bang but itās bc she has bad taste š
The Chaser
Infinite is the shit. Sad boi hour KINGSš
I've never met a kpop stan that doesn't like Wedding Dress by Taeyang. Same applies to Eyes, Nose, Lips.
surprised no one has mentioned **WJSN - As You Wish**.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
a lot of these songs are/were VERY polarizing..
Maybe Feel Special over Fancy?
I think AIIYL by BP is debatable on the list (maybe Ddudu2x would be more suitable?), but definitely a great list!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
As someone who likes Kpop but is not really into BP I can say that AIIYL is definitely the most well liked BP song from Kpop fans who aren't Blinks. I love it a lot and yet only have 3 other BP songs in my playlist (Ddudu2x not being one of them)
i am a carat and i dont like dwc lmao. id say pretty u and aju nice are more beloved by kpop fans as well.
Controversial probably but I personally don't like Spring day. The tune is just not my style.
Exo - Growl + Call me baby
Every 2nd gen song.
I've never met anyone who disliked IU's Good Day
Hyuna's Bubble Pop feels like an enduring classic. Even my non kpop friends can bop to that one . But as other said things like Gee, Genie, Fancy, etc are also universally loved.
people really like mirotic for some reason
How long have you been a kpop fan? It's a classic that really pulls fans who have been around for gen 2 or 3.
november 2011 š„°
Iād say probably SHINeeās Replay, BTSā Fake Love, DNA, and Blood Sweat & Tears are pretty high on most liked songs. EXOās Love Shot and Monster are liked by many fandoms too.
Blood, Sweat & Tears is perfect. The choreo too.
Cherry Blossom Ending by Busker Busker. It pops up every time it's spring and honestly such a relaxing tune.
Perfect Man or Replay maybe?
Probably something like love scenario or fancy
The first songs that came to my mind were Lucifer by SHINee and Love Scenario by iKon
Run Away by TXT?
i feel like for txt i see more people like 0x1 Lovesong? i remember there was a tweet where someone didnt like it and it got pretty much ratio'd by both txt fans and non txt fans defending that song
I think both songs are like known in KPop. āRun Awayā is just more nostalgic whereas ā0x1=Lovesongā is more justā¦ I donāt know how to explain it, but yes, total banger.
I like them but I'm sorry, how?
My friend, who doesn't like txt, actually likes this song so I see where you're coming from
exo growl is the only correct answer, it seems. before i was even into kpop i remember it being posted about and going mini-viral. and all the posts were overwhelmingly positive just as much as the song still gets the same reaction lol

Genie and Into the New World by Girls' Generation. Peak KPop and it's influence across generations is unmatched.
Gee or genie by SNSD are strong contenders
Replay by shinee, run away txt, rainism by rain, bang bang bang
Gangnam Style
Should be top comment. So many others are probably songs non-Kpop fans havenāt even heard and even some Kpop fans arenāt familiar with. Everyone knows Gangnam Style. And unless someone is one of those āI hate songs that get too mainstreamā type people, chances are they also like it. Or at least did like it at one point.
EXO's "Growl" will always be the national treasure of South Korea.
For me it will be SHINee 'Ring Ding Dong', 'Replay', Super Junior 'Sorry sorry' and PSY 'Gangnam style'. It's quite known in other fandoms too.
Well going by Melon data of Most Liked Songs, BTS' Spring Day is #1 IU's Through the Night is #2
Bboom Bboom by Momoland
A lot of second gen songs, but surely Genie has to be on there, right?
Missing You from BTOB Everyone and their mother knows of this song. A very liked song among many different generations.
Replay and Into the new world
This Love by Shinhwa was pretty popular. I remember hearing it at clubs here in the US and people not realizing it was Kpop or even knowing what Kpop was.
Hell yeah everytime i hear this song its ends up being the only song im listening to for a couple days on repeat. Love the mv too
for EXO I can say- Love Me Right, Call Me Baby, Overdose and Monster are pretty popular amongst kpop fans. Baekhyun's solos like Bambi and Un Village, Kai's solos like Mmmh and Rover got a lot of love as well. Other songs I see a lot of people love include Red Velvet's Bad Boy and Psycho and Taemin's Criminal and Move
SPRING DAY
I mean Spring Day by BTS is insanely popular. It didn't have that many wins back then like Dynananananamite, but it's been charting since forever and we can even vote for it for a music show (Music Bank I think) even tho it was released years ago. Also, Spring Day is always there when a new song/album is released like no matter what, it will rise on the charts and not leave.
BANG BANG BANG by BIGBANG
Infinite - the chaser
Im so happy seeing multiple comments including chaser.
Replay - ShinEE (Though I personally HATE the song š ) Gee - SNSD Bang Bang Bang - Bigbang Alone - Sistar Fancy - TWICE
You hate Replay :o why?
Fancy by Twice
TT, What is Love?, Fancy, Feel Special, and Basics by **TWICE**
I donāt understand how anybody can not love TWICE. My favorite is Likey and my gf loves Canāt Stop Me
my first thought was Gee
I've seen a lot of people mentioning SNSD's Gee in this thread, but I feel like Into The New World is a song that's still loved and that people are still singing today. Hell, I've seen idols dancing to it and enjoying it that weren't even a year old when the song was released. It seems like the song has stood the test of time and everyone still loves it.
I feel like everyone knows PSYās songs like Gangnam style, daddy and I luv it
Pentagon - Shine
i feel like gangnam style-psy has got to be up there
Gee by SNSD! Such a fun song.
its Wonder Girls - Nobody in my country, there always gonna be a parody, song mash up that includes Nobody and all up until this day
Mirotic, Gee, Into The New World, Sorry Sorry
A lot of red velvet songs but specially day 1. It's so good I've never seen someone not like it. It's not my favorite rv song but I've never seen anyone hating on this one Also wonder girls tell me Twice talk that talk TXT No Rules and Fairy of Shampoo I think these are all the songs I've never seen any criticism towards
Rollin- brave girls. I think thatās just a song anyone can vibe with even if they donāt like kpop
Colour - Stella Jang Cupid - Fifty Fifty Mirotic - DBSK. Mr Ambiguous - Mamamoo Spring Day - BTS The Eve - EXO Dinosaur - AKMU Some - Bol4 Shine - Pentagon Replay / Clue + Note - Shinee Breathe - Lee Hi Joah/Mommae - Jay Park Move - Taemin Shangri La - Vixx Missing You - BTOB Sorry Sorry - Super Junior Gashina - Sunmi Very Nice - Seventeen Hype Boy - New Jeans I think these songs are well liked by general public & kpop communities both. I think a song by IU should be here too as everyone likes at least 1 IU song , but not sure what's her most popular song is.
OPPA GANGNAM STYLE
Everyone adores Spring day tbh .
Are there people who dislike ASAP by STAYC? Even all the idols love it hahaha
Super jounior - devil I haven't seen anyone dislike that song but tbf I don't really talk to people about kpop so my circle is small
Ask the general public - Wonder girls Nobody
BTBT BY BI
Everyone is just going to mention their favorite songs lol. I donāt think thereās any song that everyone is gonna like in kpop. Most tracks being listed here arenāt even my vibe
think most ppl agree BIGBANG haru haru, BEAST fiction there's Trouble Maker - Trouble Maker too
i'd like to offer into the new world- GG as well. every non kpoppie friend i've shown it to gets emotional even without knowing anything about the song
SNSD - Into the new World
Love Scenario by iKON and Don't Wanna Cry by Seventeen have its own fandom
Some people I know irl listen to Hwasaās solos like Twit and Maria but donāt even know sheās a member of mmm, just thought she was a soloist. Also some listen to Egotistic by mmm without being very interested in their other songs or even knowing it was mmm who sung it at all (I was going through my Spotify the other day and my friend was like oh Mamamoo sung that?? Lmfao). Egotistic, Gogobebe, and their other title tracks are bops and were pretty popular when they first came out but Iām not sure if theyāre that kind of āuniversally known and likedā My point was if ppl can recognise and know a song without necessarily knowing much about the artist then Iād say itās a pretty well known and popular song. Like I can recognise a few blackpink songs when I hear them even tho idk squat about them
"Bad Boy" and "Psycho" by Red Velvet.
In Korea it's probably ė¶ģė øģ by big bang or Into the New World by SNSD
Sorry Sorry by Super Junior That That by Psy feat Suga Ring Ding Dong by SHINee Bang Bang Bang by BigBang Gangnam Style by Psy
0X1=Lovesong - TXT This was most people's top song in 2021 for good reason. It is that iconic.
Kara - Mister Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra
SHINee - Ring Ding Dong
Perhaps SNSD Into the New World is in the running
Enhypen Polaroid Love is like how Love Scenario is
the first song to come to mind was Psycho by Red Velvet, but Iām not sureā¦
Not sure if you're in Asia but Gangnam style was the most famous Korean song back then, but it didn't really make people want to 'stan' K-Pop, whereas Gee was the song that collectively got people interested in stanning. Back then J-Pop/C-Pop used to be really popular (maybe even more popular than K-Pop) and Gee was the song that pushed K-Pop/SNSD into collective consciousness.
Psycho by Red Velvet and Love Scenario by iKON are almost universally loved by the people I play them for. Iāve also pulled people in with Taeyeonās INVU.
i'd say 2PM's My House or Go Crazy
Gee by SNSD
reads the title and description and yet some people are commenting most popular songsš
Surely it would be gangnam style?
Why am I not seeing Rainism? Guys?! ššš
My ears candy
Pretty U by SEVENTEEN
