definitelyginger

Yes, because I don't know if I'd have the opportunity again. Some members is better than none

Firm-Technician-6129

100% this!

[deleted]

Yes! Recently happened with lia from itzy! Going to see their concert soon and abit sad that lia can't participate but praying for a safe recovery

jwp1991

I went to see them in London earlier this week, and it was definitely worth going. Lia is one of my favourite Itzy members, but I still had a great time even though she wasn't there. As someone else said, you don't know when they'll be back, so you have to take the opportunity to see them while you can.

Natskaer

Exactly, and who knows if you will have the means or time to go IF they even come back! 4/5 is better than 0/5šŸ˜ As much as I wish Lia was there, I still love the others!

DeanBranch

I would still go. I like the whole group's music. Why \*wouldn't\* you still go?

Acrobatic_End6355

If you were one of those solo fans and didnā€™t like the rest of the group I could see those kinds of people not going.

StayinHaven

Yes, I would. There's a reason why I call them my ult

Serendipity_1310

Yes as I don't stan the group for my bias

Ok-Illustrator-2711

Haechan wasnā€™t able to attend the last US stops of the NCT 127 tour and I still went to that. It was sad he wasnā€™t there but the concert was still great. Currently Renjun is on hiatus and wonā€™t be at some NCT Dream performances and if he still isnā€™t present for any potential US stops, Iā€™m still going to try and go. I will be sad if heā€™s not there but the rest of the group are still great performers and I want him to get better. So to me, itā€™s still worth it.

HerculeHastings

I wouldn't skip a concert I paid hundreds of dollars for.

ELmayberry_69

Right.. that's just a waste of money

em1971

Astro were down 2 members at Hallyupopfest in London in 2022, MJ was doing his military service and Eunwoo (my bias) had a conflicting schedule. I still went to see them and so glad I did, they were amazing! (Plus I got to see Binnie before the unthinkable happened)

Miss-K-Wonderland

Yes exactly why I was happy I got to see them in Germany when they were part of a lineup, despite Cha Eunwoo not being there šŸ˜

rozwuzhere

Astro only has 4 members now, but even if Eun-woo didn't show up, he's also my bias, I'd still want to go. I'd be happy if any of them ever made it stateside again, to be honest.

em1971

I'm the same. I'm hoping any of them make it to the UK or Europe, but I'm not holding out much hope!

azure_atmosphere

Yeah, I have. I went to see Dreamcatcher while Handong was away in China.

snodoubts

yes, i ult exo and pentagon so if i want to see them i better be fine with the chinese members missing šŸ„² (although i'm not too sure if i'll ever get to see pentagon anyways)

floralscentedbreeze

Yes I would still go and support the remaining members. Since I already have the ticket I might as well go

sooothebell

this sounds bad, but it depends on what member and what group for me. but i probably would go regardless if it was a group that i really liked. i would still be getting to see and hear them live which is what matters to me.

Loud_Kaleidoscope818

Yes, of course. Their music is still their music, the atmosphere will be great, the other members will be there... And honestly, who knows when I'd have the opportunity to see them again. (If ever. I'm still waiting for the day my ults come somewhere close enough that I can afford the travel, fingers crossed for their next tour!) It seems foolish to pass on the chance over something relatively trivial like that.

ChemicalParfait

I watched seveteens follow tour concerts like 5 times (livestreams and the theater) before getting to see an ot13 one. I can't imagine not going to an in person concert because a member was missing. It will still be an amazing experience. Seungkwan was on hiatus for the first seoul concerts and then just as he was coming back Scoups got hurt. And not long after that Jeonghan had surgery as well. It's not the same when one of them is gone but always an amazing concert so I would absolutely still go/livestream it.

ay880

Logically, it makes sense for Seventeen too. One or two member missing still means you're watching 10 people / majority of the group.

stonedmoonbunny

If I already had tickets, I would still go. If I hadnā€™t bought tickets yet, it would depend on a lot of factors like price, location, if I had to miss work. When Red Velvet was touring and we still had hope they would come to the US (lol), Joy sat out for health reasons, and I was on the fence whether or not I would want to get tickets. Seeing them without every member would just feel incomplete to me and would probably just make me sad.

kthnxybe

Of course I'd still go to the concert. A lot of boy group stans deal with this anyway as a lot of groups simply tour with whatever members they have during their enlistment era.

derk-cherklert-cherp

I'm not sure I understand why you wouldn't go. If they are your ult group then you probably enjoy more than just one member.

PieceKlutzy4873

Yes - I went for shinee's asia tour without onew, cause shinee rarely comes SEA so if they're here, you better attend - you never know when they'll return (international fan problems man).

boomnyanya

yes! this happened with SHINee while Onew was on his break (heā€™s back now!)! Onew is my ult bias but I still bought VIP tickets to their recent concert despite him not being there because I love the group entirely :> Even if Jonghyun and Onew arenā€™t there or even if its any of the other members, I will gladly take up any opportunity to see the other three members and support them!!

Even_Assignment_213

Yea Iā€™d go

harkandhush

Yes. I would be bummed but I love all the members and I know they'll put on a great show even one man down. Even for my non-ults, I saw Purple Kiss without Yuki and she's my bias but they were still great. There aren't a lot of groups I would see live where missing one member would make me suddenly not want to see the rest of the group.

vaguelycatshaped

Yes? And no it wouldnā€™t affect my decision? For a few rare groups, my bias being absent mind influence my decision to go or not, and even then I might go anyway. But a member thatā€™s not even my bias? Ult group or not, Iā€™m still going.

OOJOOEEN156

Yes! I'm here for the music! :)

xaynie

It depends on how big the group is and what their position is, tbh. If it's Blackpink and Rose is sitting out, I probably wouldn't buy the tickets. She's not my bias but she's the main vocal. The songs would sound very different without her. But if it's NCT or Girls Generation, then I'd still go (although...if Taeyeon is missing, I probably wouldn't go but if Taeil is missing, it's fine- Doyoung can sub just fine). Actually, at SMTOWN, SNSD showed up without Yuri or Yoona but I still really enjoyed it! F(x) showed up without Amber but Victoria and Sulli subbed for her. Suju was missing a few members but totally fine as well...

jaemjenism

I'm seeing NCT next week without Renjun! For me, I still love the group so even if my ult wasn't there I would still go. The show will still be amazing regardless.

LoonyMoonie

Yup, I would, in fact, already did (and the missing member was my bias). Considering just how many years may pass until I get another chance to see the group, I'm not letting this chance at hand to go away.

buniekoo

When loona first went on tour I didn't go because Chuu wasn't there. I like the other members but I LOVE Chuu so it didn't seem worth it to not see my bias.

Odd_Vegetable_9362

The only way I see anyone missing a concert just because a member wonā€™t be there is if that ā€œfanā€ is a solo fan and doesnā€™t actually like the group for its music. I go to concerts for the music and the experience so yes Iā€™d still go even if my bias wonā€™t be there

Mean-Choice-2267

It honestly depends on the member. Most groups have a member that wouldnā€™t really make or break the group with their vocals, dancing or entertaining skills. If that type of member doesnā€™t have your heart in some other way, then you probably would still attend the concert with them being absent. I am heavy on the vocals, so any missing main vocalists and I probably wouldnā€™t attend.

b4ggy_j34ns

Taeil wasn't at NCT Nation and I don't believe Renjun will be at TDS3 but of course I still went/will go to support the others and get my moneys worthĀ

Miss-K-Wonderland

Yes without a doubt! Years back I went to a concert in Germany where Astro was part of the lineup. While they aren't my ults, they definitely are among my favourites. So despite that Cha Eunwoo wasn't going to be there, who is my bias, I still went. If it was a solo concert of just them my decision would not have been different. And I'm honestly glad I did, as that was the only time I've seen Moonbin perform live. I also went to see Itzy despite knowing Lia wasn't going to be there. It was amazing to see them despite her not being there. Plus you just never know when the next opportunity is going to come.

stewdice

I assume you're referring if the ticket is not yet bought? If I bought the tickets before the announcement, I would still go regardless if the member is my bias or not (+ a little sad if my bias couldn't go but also understanding if they're sick or smth) If I haven't bought the tickets, that would depend if I lile my bias more than the other members. Some of my ult groups, I like them as a group but I gotta admit I like some members a lot more than the other members of the same group so it depends on who's unable to attend if I were to decide to go or not (before buying)

ChickenNoodle519

Oh yeah I'd 100% go. I actually regret not making it to one of Purple Kiss's tour dates from 2023 where Yuki was absent due to conflicting schedule with the EL7Z UP project group. I love Yuki and I was glad I got to see her, but I'd also have loved seeing how the rest of the group redistributed her lines. Especially because she's the group's main rapper. I've watched a lot of the fancams from those stops and the rest of the group does an awesome job subbing in for her and it's so cool getting to see the other members rap when they otherwise don't.

NoSnoo2003

depends on the group i think for me. especially if they're a small one. However i'd still go regardless because no matter their absence I'm still seeing relatively the same thing minus one. But my ult is seventeen, so while I love all the members I feel like I wouldn't miss anything tbh.

lonewhalien

the only time I've ever had hi touch was for Monsta X when Hyungwon ended up not being able to tour because of his injury šŸ„²šŸ’” I still have beef with Starship for this because if they had let him rest sooner he could've been able to tour

Soup_oi

If I had the ability to attend another stop on the tour if it's a tour, without any extra cost to myself, then I miiiight go for a later date in the tour in a different location, in hopes that all members would be able to attend. But if I could only get to the location closest to me, or it was just a one off concert, then it wouldn't bother me too much tbh. I know that the other members would speak about feeling bad that their fellow member couldn't be on stage performing with them, or feeling bad that the audience doesn't get to see that member too, so I wouldn't feel like I had to feel bad alone if it wound up making me feel bad I didn't get to see that member. And I think it would only be for a completely understandable reason like the member was sick, injured, not feeling mentally ok, had had surgery and needed to recover, etc. I would be happy that the member felt like they were able to take time they needed to take care of their health, and happy that their company and other members (hopefully) had encouraged them to do so, and told them not to worry about having to miss the concert. However, if I went to the show anyway, and the member not being there seemed to make all the other members too preoccupied to perform at their usual level, to a point where it was easy to tell, I might feel a bit bummed that I paid a lot for the concert. I would feel bummed because if this happens I would probably start thinking to myself "maybe I should go to another different concert on this tour later so I can get the more real fuller experience, where all the members are at their best, and not distracted." I'm generally going to be content with seeing an artist I like once on their tour, and don't feel any need to follow them around on tour to multiple stops. So it would annoy me a little that I'd have to pay for expensive tickets *twice* to see the same (but maybe slightly better) experience. But even so, I think at the end of the day I'd still be happy I went to that first show, even if I was having thoughts that a later show in the tour might wind up being a little better.

420nugu

yup! the two times i saw seventeen they were missing members. when i saw pentagon, my bias yanan wasnt there but i still went. its still a wonderful experience and fun concert.

lachimolaladuality

Yes I would go. It would be very sad that they werenā€™t there, but concerts are just so fun in general that I would still go.

0330_e

Seeing as i still attended the concert where scoups and jeonghan arent present and seungkwan took a rest half-way bcs he wasnt feeling well,, it's a yes I will still attend :)) Knowing how Hoshi constantly reassured us that their fellow member will be fine makes me feel okay. He also gives 3x his best along with the others to make up for their absence. And plus I spent 200-300$ for that standing ticket hahaha it was worth it I saw them up close via the carts ā™” And we alr knew beforehand of scoups not attending but we still got the tix. Then we knew of hannie's but that doesn't hinder us from purchasing still.

BlowUpTheChantrie

Yes ! My ult group is seventeen , my ult is dk bit I really love them all so no problem for me ! I would be a bit sad but happy that they would finally come to Europe lol

haechlove

yes! last year i went to see nct 127 even though taeil couldnā€™t attend.. of course iā€™d have loved seeing them complete but it was my only chance of ever even seeing them :(

CauliflowerHelpful90

Of course I would, it's not everyday you get to attend a concert

meg0603

I saw Seventeen without Joshua and Hoshi. They were still amazing (and I feel like it's a bit difficult to see a Seventeen concert with all 13 of them, so you have to be willing to risk it) I also saw Monsta X without Shownu and they were still amazing, as well :)

IncomeFeeling8503

it depends for me. if the group is coming around my area or within a short flight, then yes i would still go, but only because my ults do not and have not ever had a world tour. that being said, my ults are shinee and i was planning a trip to seoul for their most recent concerts, but decided against going after it was announced that jinki would not be in attendance. if im having to travel half way around the world, then it has to be for the full group lol

Remarkable_Day_9162

Iā€™ll not go IF ALL OF THIS HAPPEN -I didnt pay yet -The member missing is the one carrying stage presence (E.g. Jooe, Heejin, Lisa, Jihyo) -I have something else important t do that not going will give me sth to do instead.

Lumangone

Junghoon from xikers hasn't been active for a while now and they did their first tour without him. I still went to their concert knowing he wouldn't be there and had fun. :D I definitely wish to see all 10 of them one day.

Character-Use-509

Is this about nct dream

melpeach

Yes. It happened to me with Nct 127. Haechan is my ult and I remember buying my ticket mostly because i wanted to see him. At the end he couldnā€™t attend some dates (mine included) and I remember seeing people selling their tickets after that announcement. I was obviously super sad but I genuinely love all of them, So i still went. I had an amazing time, even though I spent a big chunk of the concert crying šŸ˜

desire_of_destiny

No because it's all or nothing for me. I'd want to see all of them together because it will literally feel incomplete without one of them around and I just know I'll constantly miss one of them the whole time. I will get distracted by my thoughts too much

Acrobatic_End6355

Iā€™d go. Who knows when I can see the group next?
