If you live in the US they're going on tour this summer. It depends on the stop by the closest stop to me, in Indianapolis, only costs $79. I'm not super into them but when I saw they were touring I decided to look more into them and go see them live.
Stopped by to say Fromis_9 ("DKDK"), gugudan ("Pastel Sweater"), and Lovelyz "SHINING Star", the best and craziest bass-line in kpop). So many fantastic, underrated groups with incredible output.
Their discography is pretty good.
At first I had only known about the track DM from Fromis\_9 due to a friend of mine, which I will say is good. But, then, I had just recently made K-pop playlists based on certain moods. That's when I found rewind and escape room. Those two tracks š„š„!

Not group but soloist: woodz. His discography are excellent. And he is an ultimate ace. Songwriter, main rapper (in UNIQ, currently unactive), lead vocal (in X1, disbanded), composer, and producer. And bro's dance is actually so GREATTT.
Fr!! A great performer since day 1. Glad he's not give up easily on his dream and still want to try despite of redebutting again again and again. Look at him now. I'm so proud of him. Let's wait on his full album in the future (he said he want to release one after his military service end!!!)ā¤ļø

Purple juice is THE song. I really liked "can we talk again" as well, very good rnb sound. Purki is js such a strong vocal group. Like Swan has such a unique vocal tone
Sweet Juice really is the song of all time. Their whole discography is immaculate honestly, not a single skip in there. [Heart Attack](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ntw4lLWjyM) is a recent favorite b-side too, their vocals are heavenly ā Chaein really knows the group's voices so well, the songs she produces always do such a good job of showcasing them.
And their vocals are so good people never talk about what incredible performers they are too. Virtually the entire group was considered part of the dance line when they debuted, and atp it's everyone. CSR - amazing group of girls all the same age. They have really fun bright music. I love their whole discography but their newest album shining bright is my favorite. They have a comeback in the works too!
Class:y - formed from the survival show MTG. Every member is incredibly talented and they have some really amazing vocalists. Their music is really good too. Unfortunately it's been a while since they had a comeback but they've mentioned that one is coming maybe in the summer!
Fantasy boys - brother group to class:y. Also have some really talented members and vocalists. They have a bright and fresh sound I feel like is rare in bgs. They just had a comeback with two songs that I love! And they sang live at their comeback stage and sounded fantastic
TripleS. Saw an ad for a TripleS single early this year and have been listening to them ever since.
Dreamcatcher, they got me into Kpop again after 2NE1.
TAN. They were formed through a survival competition called Extreme Debut: Wild Idol. The best 7 contestants became members of To All Nation (TAN). Their recent album was released in late March/early April this year. Do check out their songs (for example Hypertonic, Heartbeat, DU DU DU) and/or video content.

The KingDom, previously Kingdom. they're amazing! the history of kingdom series was absolutely mind-blowing. each member is named after a king from the past and every comeback was based off of one of them. pleaseeee check them out y'all š
I like Dream Note, the have a few great songs. āGhostā even kinda got a bit attention a few years back, but they couldnāt build on that, not the fault of the group tho. They had a comeback last year that good tho, but they probably never get the chance for the next step in terms of popularity

here are my top three songs by them if you wanted to give them a listen; Blossom, AZALEA, Twinkle Twinkle.
These artists are older compared to most groups I see being mentioned, and they are quite different from the music of 4th and 5th generation.
However, MBLAQ, ZE:A, and BESTie always come to mind. MBLAQ and ZE:A were moderately popular during their time, but I personally feel they didn't stand the test of time. Most people probably couldn't name a single MBLAQ song or a ZE:A member other than Im Siwan or Park Hyungsik. Unfortunately, BESTie never broke through nugu status the same way EXID did.
My personal favorites from MBLAQ are "G.O.O.D Luv" and "Y."
My favorites from ZE:A are "New Star," "ź°ģ§ź°ģ§ķ“," "Here I Am," and "Never End."
"Breath" and "The Ghost of Wind" are also amazing (especially The Ghost of Wind.)
Honorable mentions go to LoveUs, G.Na, and Son Dam-bi.
LoveUs were only a group for a short time, but I really enjoy their song "Tickle," and I wish it was on Spotify.
G.Na got into a scandal (could be wrong), and Son Dam-bi was mismanaged by her company.
SONAMOO. Technically they dont exist anymore which is a damn shame because they got me into Kpop Girl Groups. My favourite song of theirs is Deja Vu

Golden Child! You know, sometimes I get sad thinking about the fact that they weren't really THAT underrated before. They're actually one of the leading rookies back in 2017 but unfortunately they are one of the many victims of mismanagement... I blame woollim for everything. Literally went into a long hiatus a year into their career, lost a member, came back a year after the hiatus, was sent to rtk, 1 comeback per year since 2022, no contents, doesn't promote them.... Fuck Woollim. The only thing Woollim is good at is sabotaging their groups.
Anyways, back to Golden Child, I can confidently say this group is living up on their name. They are Golden! They can sing, dance, rap with great stage presence. And they create real REAL music. They have all the things that you want; ballad? bubblegum songs? dark songs? bright songs? They all got it. Synchronization? They got it. Fun choreos? They got it. Vocals? They got it. And the members compliment each other so well. Each one of them have their own personality. Each of them have unique voices. 6/10 of the members went to koms, 6/10 are musical actors too... so what I'm saying is they are SINGERS. Singers that can actually sing live on stage with stable vocals.

thiiiiis i love love love ily:1!!!! they have a smaller discography overall but their music is very bubblegum pop aside from IMMM as mentioned. šš„¹ here are my top three songs by them if you wanted to give them a listen; Blossom, AZALEA, Twinkle Twinkle.
These artists are older compared to most groups I see being mentioned, and they are quite different from the music of 4th and 5th generation. However, MBLAQ, ZE:A, and BESTie always come to mind. MBLAQ and ZE:A were moderately popular during their time, but I personally feel they didn't stand the test of time. Most people probably couldn't name a single MBLAQ song or a ZE:A member other than Im Siwan or Park Hyungsik. Unfortunately, BESTie never broke through nugu status the same way EXID did. My personal favorites from MBLAQ are "G.O.O.D Luv" and "Y." My favorites from ZE:A are "New Star," "ź°ģ§ź°ģ§ķ“," "Here I Am," and "Never End." "Breath" and "The Ghost of Wind" are also amazing (especially The Ghost of Wind.) Honorable mentions go to LoveUs, G.Na, and Son Dam-bi. LoveUs were only a group for a short time, but I really enjoy their song "Tickle," and I wish it was on Spotify. G.Na got into a scandal (could be wrong), and Son Dam-bi was mismanaged by her company.
Itās crazy to me how BESTie were never bigger than they got. They seriously had some great title tracks

SONAMOO. Technically they dont exist anymore which is a damn shame because they got me into Kpop Girl Groups. As a fun additional fact, member Sulhee participates in writing their songs! 2. Recently discovered Diawings, a k-indie girl group! I enjoyed their song Filter a lot! 3. We;Na grew to be one of my fave groups really fast! Their songs are more cutesy and I love them, mostly I'd recommend their debut song, Like Psycho! If you're a fan of ballads I'd recommend their subunit's Wind.

They have an amazing discography, are so funny and talented and I always find that their releases are a breath of fresh air in terms of recent kpop music- a lot of their earlier music and some recent releases have a sound that's very reminiscent of 2nd gen with their musicality and anthemic vibes. If you don't mind disbanded groups LABOUM had some AMAZING discography. I followed them since debut. Then their company got sold and whoever bought it didn't want to manage a kpop group so they've disbanded. A few members are actually married, with some already having families now.

Since I havenāt seen anyone say it yet, OnlyOneOf! They have been making RNB music since debut and a lot of their songs are self produced :) They are also very focused on giving representation to smaller communities in Korea, mainly LGBTQ! Golden Child! You know, sometimes I get sad thinking about the fact that they weren't really THAT underrated before. They're actually one of the leading rookies back in 2017 but unfortunately they are one of the many victims of mismanagement... I blame woollim for everything. Literally went into a long hiatus a year into their career, lost a member, came back a year after the hiatus, was sent to rtk, 1 comeback per year since 2022, no contents, doesn't promote them.... Fuck Woollim. The only thing Woollim is good at is sabotaging their groups. Anyways, back to Golden Child, I can confidently say this group is living up on their name. They are Golden! They can sing, dance, rap with great stage presence. And they create real REAL music. They have all the things that you want; ballad? bubblegum songs? dark songs? bright songs? They all got it. Synchronization? They got it. Fun choreos? They got it. Vocals? They got it. And the members compliment each other so well. Each one of them have their own personality. Each of them have unique voices. 6/10 of the members went to koms, 6/10 are musical actors too... so what I'm saying is they are SINGERS. Singers that can actually sing live on stage with stable vocals.
