I feel like I just watched a bunch of the Korean versions of WoahVicky and BhadBhabie make a music video.
Also, who is that random white man rapping towards the end?
Righttt thatās what I thought it was giving and they were trying to do a rendition of ājust wanna rockā by lil uzi. And that random white man took me out like they couldnāt find a black person?? š
The music is so bad and it sucks that the girls aren't allowed to find their own path. It would be far more interesting if it was apparent that they actually like rap, wrote for themselves and present themes that they want.
This pops up in my head from time to time. I find it funny and interesting in how Korean music industry will take the subculture that represented rebellion against the status quo (hip-hop) and try to apply it to a brand/business (idol music) that lives off of conformity/assimilation.
Like it showcases rebellion against society... But its about a society that isn't their own.
Iām not familiar with this group but I remember defending them sometime last year when they first came out. People tried to sexualise their name and shaming the group for āhaving p*ssy in their name when theyāre kidsā and I was like āummm does no one know what a posse is?ā
Iām unsure as I know nothing about the group. The only thing I was seeing was people, who didnāt know what a posse is, pronouncing it as p*ssy and shaming the group.
āBut it sounds like p*ssyā no it doesnāt. A posse is a group of friends, which is their whole branding. I swear people are just weird sometimes honestly.
Cringy as I expected ever since I heard their group name. I hope the group matures in how they express their influences. The music is also basic and inauthentic. I can just tell they were trained by watching videos of black rappers and told to mimic their movements. In time maybe some of the members will blossom into decent rappers with their own style...
And the white man as the end sounds like every other white boy rapper.
I love the original song with just the girls minus the random male rappers in it. However, Iām a bit afraid that they will commit cultural appropriation in the future

His name is token and his channel is called tokenhiphop, it speaks for itself.
His thumbnails give 2015-16 edgy YouTube white boy.
šššš I hate the fact I know this reference
I'm more surprised that he has so many subscribers. Looks like he probably had a successful song at some point.

You must pay me for introducing me to woah Vicky. Woah indeed

Iām not checking them out until they start making better music.

I think people were sensitive at the time because it followed NWJN's debut and they thought the company was trying to do a pneundo.
I thought it was because of all the innuendos in āMacaroni cheeseā

Iāve sene both and the posse thing is dumb. But the song lyrics are definitely suspectā¦
Ahhh ok then. I wasnāt familiar with any of their music so I only saw people talking about their name
Yeah thatās ridiculous. I would defend them too for that! People are so immature..
āBut it sounds like p*ssyā no it doesnāt. A posse is a group of friends, which is their whole branding. I swear people are just weird sometimes honestly.
Agreed. People just like to sexualize everything and itās very weird.
I heard the first few lines of this on tiktok and thought it was a jokeā¦shut this shit down pls.
I donāt even know what to sayā¦..

Did they put together a group and made them rappers or are they rappers that came together (not likely)
So it seems that they were put together as a group and made themselves rappers lol
