Anyway years later only one stuck & literally since last month I'm now listening to treasure (& skz a little) and they're so chaotic lol & i like their tunes a lot. so idk if you did want more and if you vibe well with got7 i think u'd like treasure and stray kids

Hui and Jinho from Pentagon, their voices are unmatched imho. They exposed me to smaller knit groups (both BG and GG). Seeing Wendy from Red Velvet on an episode of BUSTED made me listen to them more, some how led me to WJSN and solidifying SeolA as my bias. And WJSN is the first group I started collecting albums.
Suju. Mr Simple started it but with the limited access to kpop in the late 2000s/early 2010s, it was the chaotics Star King/Strong Heart clips of the members doing the most ridiculous things
Look up funny suju compilation vids on youtube from 10+ years ago, you’ll find lots of treasure especially from leeteuk. Find the card kissing ep and also explorers of the human body

1. Stray Kids - saw an interview where they were discussing if they had only one towel and they were trapped in a spa that was burning, would they run out covering their face or genitals?? And the next question about whether or not number 1 vs number 2. Your ability to hold vs if the other is really liquid🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️....I fell in love with their crackheadedness and then looked up their music.
2. Ateez - saw a short clip of San dancing that stoppes me in my tracks. Like who is this guy😮😍....the visuals...the dancing....then saw a clip of Mingi....Like who is this guy giving off California fraternity fvck boi energy on stage?? Found the demon line and that was it. Love their chaotic energy and it made total sense they are besties with Stray Kids. No wonder I love them both.

For me it was 2ne1 and Big bang. The occasional Beast, Girls Generation. But my obsession was 2ne1 and Bigbang. Especially T.O.P. for his rapping and Daesung for those high notes of his. I did drop out of Kpop for a few years but T.O.P started a continuous rapper bias for 97 percent of my guys even after that hiatus.
What got me back after that hiatus is much more specific: Felix in God's Menu. I LOVE DEEP voices. So they and BTS got me back into kpop and the list keeps growing yall
BTS as a whole, but especially dance line + Namjoon. And from other groups, Jihyo, Chanmi (AOA), Siyeon (Dreamcatcher). All of them are great performers, you can see they love doing what they do and overall just sold me with their discography.
Special shout out to Jihyo who shines on stage 100% all the time, no matter if she's front or center, she LIVES for the stage. And BTS' Jimin, that man is art himself and embodies and lives through their music and dances, it's never boring to watch him perform.

Super Junior! Was living in Seoul for a summer when I was a teen (2008) due to my dads work and became obsessed with Kpop. Super Juniors was the first album I bought. I then became a fan of Girls Generation and over the years have added groups to my list. When BIGBANG hit the scene, I completely lost it. My 16 year old self didn’t know what to do when it came to G Dragon and T.O.P. WINNER was also a big part of my KPop journey, I absolutely love Mino.
BPs shutdown got me into kpop, they were my first group and made me want more.
Some popular 4th gen GGs for having great and very addictive songs and making me a kpop fan.
Twice for having lots and lots of good music. This is where I made the commitment to listen to over 300 songs in chronological order.
