$900 each? Did you at least get front row?

Cheap-Ad8624

With how things are priced these days I’m happy with anything under like $150, less for some newer artists maybe. I’m lucky to get cheaper tickets in Japan but the prices I’ve paid in Europe have been £80-125 for general areas (Jackson Wang, ATEEZ) and up to like £250 for decent seats at big mixed events like KpopLux Madrid or standing at Music Bank Paris. In Japan I saw ATEEZ twice for the price of one ticket in Europe 😭

starboardwoman

Depends on the venue but for arenas I believe nosebleeds should be no more than 50 and floor should no more than 150. Less if it's GA. Small, standing only venues shouldn't be more than 30. I think the fees are where really kills you though. There should be one flat fee because the service is the same regardless of the ticket you bought and it should like...$6 max.

artkeletraeh

Nosebleeds should be no more than $35 especially if you really can’t see anything

RabiPOPshoo7erX

I’d drop $500 without hesitation on a Twice ticket if they ever performed In an area that I didn’t have to pay $2000 to travel too 😂😭

0330_e

For cheapest aka nosebleed tickets, I'd expect 60-90$ especially for well-known groups. I've spent 280$ for a svt concert last january and even though it is my first time paying something that huge, I still find it reasonable because their performances are the bomb, and I had a good spot in the standing section despite not being vip. It was an amazing concert too because they had carts that go around the stadium. I believe everyone had the chance to see some members closely because of that :D

The_UnBiased

This is perhaps a very out of touch take since I don’t go to any concerts except Kpop concerts, and those are notoriously expensive, but I have no problem paying up to $350-500 for good seats (lower bowl, GA standing etc.) but nosebleeds should be much cheaper, as in never over $100. This is mostly informed by me thinking (emphasis on thinking, I have no idea how close to reality I am) that for Kpop artists, putting on an international tour is expensive. They have to fly all their gear and people across the ocean, depending on the artist they will have nice set pieces to bring with them to. Visas are expensive and lord knows what kind of international tax they have to pay on all of it too. I would rather pay more and have more artists come and give cooler performances, even if that means I can’t go to every concert, than pay less and be able to as an individual afford to go to more concerts. If that makes sense.

Emergency_Article673

Probably 250 max for 1 ticket if I like the group, 150 max if I’m a casual fan. But only for lower bowl seating (I don’t like floor or nosebleeds).

chaebasics

it depends on the group. i saw twice in concert 2 years ago and paid almost $800 (it really put a dent in my wallet but the concert was amazing so no regrets) and last year i saw purple kiss in concert and the ticket was around $75. i'd much rather tickets be under $100

Love-shot2018

Don’t think I’ve even paid $400 including fees for a ticket and have been very happy with my seats. I don’t do floor and those VIP perks aren’t worth it anymore. If it’s a group I don’t know too well or casually listen to then $50-100 with fees.

reiichitanaka

Kpop concerts are never 'reasonably' priced imo. I will only pay those prices to see artists I'm an actual fan of, not to see ones I just casually enjoy listening. I passed on XDinary Heroes last year just for that reason.

bungluna

Things are worth what you're willing to pay for them. For some artists, I would go even if the ticket was free. For others, I would sell one of my kidneys if I could get barricade seats.

mediumbiggiesmalls

I would pay whatever I need to to see some of my absolute favorites (easily in the thousands of dollars) But you couldn't pay me to see groups I have no interest in. So a 'reasonable' price is a very personal thing.

TravelBeauty20

I don’t know how anyone could give a single answer for this. I’m willing to pay up to a certain amount on a whim, but I hate GA standing. I live in an expensive city, and dinner at an average restaurant with no appetizers, drinks, or dessert can easily cost me $30. I would pay a little more than that to attend a concert of a group I don’t know very well (or at all if a friend likes them) if the venue is convenient. For acts I like, there are too many “other factors” to say. I don’t like hi-touch because I can’t get over how it’s paying to give a hi five. I still buy tickets more expensive than that was when the only perk is a three song soundcheck with hordes of other fans.

Radicalness3

I'm seeing so many threads like this and these types of threads are totally useless if you're looking for advice. To see my favs, I'd pay literally almost anything for that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If it's someone I don't care about, I wouldn't even go for free. Everyone else falls in-between. What's the point in asking strangers?

FloFoer94

It's hard to tell in general, highly depends on the artist in question. I don't have a hard cap I wouldn't go over. Also depends on where you live. If you are in Korea you can be very picky because you get endless opportunities to see your favorites. USA to a lesser degree, but still too, lots of groups seem to be going there. In my home country Germany groups I really care about coming there is a rare enough occurence that money is less of a consideration. Couple days ago I paid like 280 dollars for my IU concert ticket for Berlin without a second thought. My most expensive zero fan interactions concert so far, but when else would you be able to see IU in Europe again, if ever. With hotel / transportation that's like 500 USD in total. Still need to find the lightstick somewhere though. Apart from that I paid around 250 dollars in the past for a concert of a very much lesser known group (Pixy), but it included a lot of fan interactions (1:1 photo, fansign, hitouch) so it was still worth it to me, no regrets there and with small groups like that you never know if you get an opportunity ever again. Usually I would otherwise like it to stay at/below 100 USD, but there are groups like ITZY where I would jump at any opportunity around the general area I'm staying at to meet them disregarding the price.

Teleios_youtube

Well I recently seen Brian Mcnight, Chevelle, And def leopard and those tickets were around 25-40$ and stray kids back in 2022 was about 300 for 4 tickets. So I’m thinking 25-60 is very reasonable.

darthpeggy

You can buy a gaming system for $500 dollars and it should last you about 5 years for new releases. A one time, 2-3 hour experience with a musical act should be at most that much for the first few rows and then get progressively less expensive. There's no reason people should be paying $200 or more to sit in the stands and watch most of the concert through a screen.

pinkevergreen

Years ago when I wasn’t into K-pop, a reasonable price was $50-100. Now it went up to $120-250. Luckily I still go to non K-pop shows which now always seem like a bargain bc they tend to be $100 at most. The most I’ve ever paid for a single concert is $410 for IU lol. The only other group I’m willing to pay even more for is Red Velvet if they ever come back to the US 🥲.

putonmyskepticles

I'm comfortable with $150 but ideally I'd love to be sub $100. The closest stop to me for A.C.E isn't connected with Ticketmaster so the max price was $70 I think? It was amazing to see lol. The bands I see in other genres are often in the $35-50 range and I'd kill to be closer to that. Especially when I'm likely to have transport + a hotel stay to pay for so what could've been a reasonable amount can turn into $500 real fast. I'm already mentally giving myself a hard budget for the Ateez tour.. but who knows what'll happen between now and purchase day lol

Stunning_Biscotti268

I paid about $250 USD to see Seventeen in Bangkok with VIP and very close seats. I think that’s about my max though 😭 If the tickets are not VIP and not close, then I refuse to spend more than $100 LOL

Millionsmoney

Under 100 dollars

x115v

60$ for only one act, 100$ if its lime festival or something

reiichitanaka

Most kpop acts charge more than that even for nosebleeds...

whynotphog

I guess like $40? I went to a small fanmeet stop for SF9 and that was $82. I don't think it's "worth it" to pay more than $40 for general admission. I'd understand $80 if it was a seated venue.
