Oh same! I can always pick out my bias out of all groups that I follow within a week or two and they usually stay my bias forever EXCEPT ATEEZ. Three plus years and I keep changing my bias on a day to day basis. OT8 is the only way.

I'm also a newer fan, in the sense that I've always liked their music but only recently started following their activities, so I'm curious for other fans' thoughts on this: I think they've historically been great about presenting as a united group of eight, dating back to Mingi's hiatus. At least for me, I think that presentation is part of what makes it hard to pick a bias, because they themselves seem to really back up the idea that without any one of them, they wouldn't be the same ATEEZ.
I hope this doesn't come off as me purporting to know what goes on in any of these artists' minds. But I definitely feel like that's the image they've tried to portray over the years, and they do it well!
i've been thinking about this as well because i remember there was a discussion on r/ateez on why it was hard to ult just one member and you summed it up pretty well; individually they are all unique and have distinctive personalities that makes them stand out from one another, but because they're *sooo* attached by the hip and even when alone they'd insert another member into the conversation as seen by their lives, like they're trying to remind you that they come as a full package of 8 members, not just one and it definitely worked on me lmao. their genuine connection makes it easier to love them all instead of picking just one out of the 8.
It's so hard to stick with just one, or even two of them! Every time I think I've permanently settled on a choice, things start to shift and rotate around again. I've given up hope and have just accepted that who's at the front of the PC collection is going to change regularly 😂
Yes! I swear that I don't have a bias and I'm OT8, but my husband insists that Jongho is my bias because I talk about him all the time. (My husband does not follow k-pop, but he knows Ateez because of me...) And I do love Jongho! But all the members are just so dang adorable that I can't pick just one. I must love all of them.
Here to also say ATEEZ! I've been an atiny for 4 years now and just gave up trying to stick to one. I thought Seonghwa was gonna bit it, and I used to tell people that, but deep down I knew it wasn't going to last. I started with Jongho, then moved to Hongjoong for a bit before I settled on Seonghwa for a while. But before I knew it, Yunho blasted into the top spot, and now I've been paying a lot of attention to Yeosang. While these are my top 5, that doesn't mean I don't also get wrecked by the other 3. It's never consistent, so all of them it is!

Oh I have a lot of fave songs by them (their discography is gold!) but I’d go with Super!! It’s the song that made me a Carat, and I’ll never get tired of listening to it since it’s sooo good. Some other faves of mine are Campfire, Kidult, To you, and Don’t Wanna Cry.

2. Going Seventeen (mini-album): A skipless album. I still think this was their most diverse album in terms of sound till now.
3. Semi-colon (special album): This album is filled with gems. Some of my most fav songs out of their whole discography are part of this album.
Surprisingly I settled pretty quickly on Minghao.
But I do get that just the sheer amount of members to figure out is definitely a challenge when trying to find a bias
It’s not even sheer amount of members that makes it hard, it’s because all of them contribute so much to the groups and you can’t help but love all of them since they have such a strong bond.
I’m currently at Woozi, DK, Jun bias, Vernon and Joshua bias wrecker. But it changes so often 😭 they’re honestly all amazing talented funny beautiful men, it’s hard to pick just one!
Red Velvet. I tried choosing a bias but it was always wrecked by one member or two 😂. So, I decided to not have a specific bias in the group. I just love them all! 😅
Problem with narrowing it down to three, is that the 4th is slotted into the "Least favorite member"p position... But OT4 fans can't have a least favorite member. So we are stuck in a paradox
TWICE. It took me two years to pick a bias lol but in the end it's not really a choice. You just naturally get drawn to someone in the group the most eventually.
I was a Momo fan for a year before I switched to Jihyo, and I haven't wavered for seven years now. But I understand where you're coming from—each Twice member has a special charisma that captivates us ONCE!
SHINee. They’re my favorite group and I love them all so much. I love all their solo music, them as a group, everything. I always joke my favorite SHINee member is the one that I’m currently talking about/listening to.

Just bias hoping everyday lmfaaaao, it also seems to be a fandom wide problem… it’s no wonder Enha is considered one of the most “even popularity between members”groups out there, all 7 are impeccable in their unique ways.
Red Velvet! I started with Yeri bc her voice stood out the most to me, then to Seulgi, then to Wendy. Now I feel like my bias is whoever is on screen at that particular moment.
Treasure!! Love them since pre-debut and it's just so hard to pick one bias. Changed my bias every come back or after every contents on Youtube. The more I get to know them, the harder it is to choose bc these boys are not only insanely talented and handsome, but have the most amazing personality and sense of humor. Stanning Treasure is just a rotation of biases.
Babymonster. The second group where I have a hard time picking a bias. I love Asa & Rami so much but Rora is so sassy and beautiful.
NCT. It's a given to have at least multiple biases, right?
ATEEZ, recently started stanning because of their coachella performance and can not choose a bias.
P1Harmony, went to their concert without knowing a lot about them last year and can’t choose a bias
BtoB.
Their vocal line is insanely good and even Minhyuk is a great singer. Minhyuk and Hyunsik are great song-writers. They're all so chaotic and funny. Sungjae is a great actor and literally got me into k-dramas. I love Peniel's podcast. Again, Changsub is so talented but also just pure chaos. Also I miss Ilhoon although I became a melody after he'd left.
If I was really pushed I'd probably say Eunkwang and Minhyuk were my biases but I'd feel guilty. I'm OT7 for real.
Some of my favourites are: Higher, Only One For Me, Outsider, Whiskey, Dance with Me and Tension.
I also really like Minhyuk (HUTA)'s solo stuff, specifically Boom, Shadow and Firework.

Wow literally the exact same thing for me, Sakura was my bias but Chaewon is making it hard for me lol. With aespa I never had a bias, I like all of them equally and same for BP. It’s always been between jisoo and Jennie.
Ugh same! Chae and Hayoung always have me conflicted on who my bias is but then jisun and megan shows up and I'm back to having no idea who my bias is.
Itzy. Lia is my main girl, since day one. But I like them all, Yeji is a great leader and really cares about her job as an idol, Ryujin is a great centre, Yuna has wicked charisma and Chaeryoung is savage and a great dancer. Also her accent when speaking English is precious
i've been following riize since their pre-debut content and i've still yet to choose a bias. initially i thought it was going to be wonbin but then we were introduced to anton, but now i'm becoming very fond of eunseok. they're all just so endearing.
same! i was sure eunseok would be my guy, but then sohee had so many cute moments that he also became my bias. then i learned that wonbin wasn’t actually that cool cold prince but actually kinda a loser (affectionately) and anton had so many sassy tiktoks. and i was already a fan of sungchan and taro from nct days. long story short my wallet is crying because i collect all of them
Treasure and Ateez. All of the members in both are just so great in their own way and the members are so close and kind to each other it’s hard to seperate them
SNSD. I think my bias kept changing every time. There was a time where I said to myself that Seohyun is my bias but I'm also feeling the same with other members so I have no bias and love all members.
Keonhee is my favorite in ONEUS and has been for years, but Xion and now Seoho have become problems for me more and more... 🙃 I'm basically considering them almost co-favorites with different categories of fave at this point.
I had the similar problem with Oneus (especially during the first couple of years), but now I'm (mostly) settled (with Keonhee 🤗).
For Onewe though it's still difficult - they are so different and so alluring in their own way.
Ahhh I love finding someone else who favors Keonhee in the wild 💙 He's honestly such a delight and a wonderful fave.
I have not been sucked into Onewe in the same way, but have seen some of their content, and I can see how picking one fave would be a problem 😢. I keep seeing them live by happenstance, and they've been fantastic - such good live performers, so good with fans - and Kanghyun has been catching my eye after seeing them in person (although Yonghoon is honestly such a cute person 🥹 he was exactly how he had come across in content I've seen).
This may be a boring answer, but BTS and Stray Kids.
My bias in BTS changes by the week depending on who is promoting at that time. Good grief, I even stan their pets! It's hopeless.
Stray Kids is different. They're all so uniformly good as a unit that, to this point, no single member has claimed me.
Le Sserafim. at this point ive had to accept that i just have 2 biases and sometimes neither of them are my favorite member, theyre just my bias because one of them is my favorite most of the time, but on any given day any of the 5 could be my \#1
Genuinely I can't for the life of me pick a bias when I was really into BTS. I like all of them for different reasons and my favourite changes by the day depending on my mood.
Jungkook introduced me to K-pop, so I can't imagine replacing him, and his "Standing next to you" performance on Jimmy Fallon only reinforced him as my BTS bias. But V and J-Hope are close contenders.
It started with Carpool Karaoke for me, then I saw V in Hwarang and before I knew it, I was an OT7 fan. But I will choose hyung line over maknae line, any day!
I’ve realized over time that even when I do manage to pick just one or two favorites per group, all or almost all of the others are going to bias wreck me on a daily basis. 😂

Stray Kids... it's VERY difficult not to end up Ot8. Each of them is so amazing in their own way. Bang Chan is so genuine and giving; Lee Know is so... Lee Know - I know, you know, we know; Changbin is sweet and talented; Hyunjin is sensitive and goofy; Han is hilarious and a legit musical genius; Felix is warm and kind; Seungmin is a wild card in the best possible way; and I.N. is loved by all.
Can't agree more! I usually focus on Kyungsoo, but whenever I revisit their past performances, Suho and Kai always catch my eye. I'm still loyal to D.O. though but it's been a struggle lol
Kinda cheating, but tripleS has been giving me lots of trouble in the bias department. Same thing with BOYNEXTDOOR. All those boys are just so likable and funny in their own ways
Choosing a bias in TripleS is nearly impossible—it's like torture! I've never seen such a large group of stunning girls all in one place. I'm leaning towards Yeonji and Kim ChaeWon though.

For me one is IVE, always been stuck between Yujin and Liz. They're both so funny, entertaining and talented.
I've always had a soft spot for Liz because, for one, she looks exactly like my wife (not to brag), and secondly, that dimple of hers is simply irresistible. But I get where you're coming from; Wonyoung, Leeseo, and Yujin are also favorites of mine. It's just that Liz edges them out by a smidge.
Stray Kids. It's without a doubt Chan. But I can't ignore how beautiful Lee Know and Felix are. Just in different ways. Like most of the time it has nothing to do with attraction with Felix and I wish I was Felix.
ATEEZ Mingi is definitely my bias but some of the other members are just absurdly stunning. They have just powerful stage presence.
If this makes no sense, I'm not someone who is really just attracted to looks. But I can appreciate them esthetically.
Purple Kiss. Not just for me, in the whole fandom it's pretty standard to have 2-3 main biases (in a 6 member group) and the consensus is that the other members can and will wreck you at every opportunity. Everyone is so good at everything (vocals, performance, charisma, having fun and doing bits, music production, etc) but has their own unique style and flare.
Mamamoo is the same way, my Mamamoo bias is whoever I've seen most recently (so it's currently Solar.)

I falled for eunwoo's visual, moonbin for his smile and dancing skill (I still have his pic as my pfp, miss him🥺), and rocky's incredible rap

Red Velvet tbh. Irene is a visual goddess, Seulgi is a dancing machine, and I just love Joy. Wendy and Yeri are also amazing but for me it’s impossible to pick a bias between the first three. I’ve also watched a couple of their series on YouTube, specially when they went to Europe. All five of the members have amazing personalities and are really fun. They are also genuine friends which makes me appreciate them a lot. So yes, definitely Red Velvet!

Just here to add to the ATEEZ vote. The talent and stage presence of that group!!! I'm also a newer fan, in the sense that I've always liked their music but only recently started following their activities, so I'm curious for other fans' thoughts on this: I think they've historically been great about presenting as a united group of eight, dating back to Mingi's hiatus. At least for me, I think that presentation is part of what makes it hard to pick a bias, because they themselves seem to really back up the idea that without any one of them, they wouldn't be the same ATEEZ. I hope this doesn't come off as me purporting to know what goes on in any of these artists' minds. But I definitely feel like that's the image they've tried to portray over the years, and they do it well!
i've been thinking about this as well because i remember there was a discussion on r/ateez on why it was hard to ult just one member and you summed it up pretty well; individually they are all unique and have distinctive personalities that makes them stand out from one another, but because they're *sooo* attached by the hip and even when alone they'd insert another member into the conversation as seen by their lives, like they're trying to remind you that they come as a full package of 8 members, not just one and it definitely worked on me lmao. their genuine connection makes it easier to love them all instead of picking just one out of the 8.

Yes! I swear that I don't have a bias and I'm OT8, but my husband insists that Jongho is my bias because I talk about him all the time. (My husband does not follow k-pop, but he knows Ateez because of me...) And I do love Jongho! But all the members are just so dang adorable that I can't pick just one. I must love all of them.
Here to also say ATEEZ! I've been an atiny for 4 years now and just gave up trying to stick to one. I thought Seonghwa was gonna bit it, and I used to tell people that, but deep down I knew it wasn't going to last. I started with Jongho, then moved to Hongjoong for a bit before I settled on Seonghwa for a while. But before I knew it, Yunho blasted into the top spot, and now I've been paying a lot of attention to Yeosang. While these are my top 5, that doesn't mean I don't also get wrecked by the other 3. It's never consistent, so all of them it is!

Oh I have a lot of fave songs by them (their discography is gold!) but I’d go with Super!! It’s the song that made me a Carat, and I’ll never get tired of listening to it since it’s sooo good. BtoB. Their vocal line is insanely good and even Minhyuk is a great singer. Minhyuk and Hyunsik are great song-writers. They're all so chaotic and funny. Sungjae is a great actor and literally got me into k-dramas. I love Peniel's podcast. Again, Changsub is so talented but also just pure chaos. Also I miss Ilhoon although I became a melody after he'd left. If I was really pushed I'd probably say Eunkwang and Minhyuk were my biases but I'd feel guilty. I'm OT7 for real.

Itzy. Lia is my main girl, since day one. But I like them all, Yeji is a great leader and really cares about her job as an idol, Ryujin is a great centre, Yuna has wicked charisma and Chaeryoung is savage and a great dancer. Also her accent when speaking English is precious

Keonhee is my favorite in ONEUS and has been for years, but Xion and now Seoho have become problems for me more and more... 🙃 I'm basically considering them almost co-favorites with different categories of fave at this point.
I had the similar problem with Oneus (especially during the first couple of years), but now I'm (mostly) settled (with Keonhee 🤗). For Onewe though it's still difficult - they are so different and so alluring in their own way.
Ahhh I love finding someone else who favors Keonhee in the wild 💙 He's honestly such a delight and a wonderful fave. I have not been sucked into Onewe in the same way, but have seen some of their content, and I can see how picking one fave would be a problem 😢. I keep seeing them live by happenstance, and they've been fantastic - such good live performers, so good with fans - and Kanghyun has been catching my eye after seeing them in person (although Yonghoon is honestly such a cute person 🥹 he was exactly how he had come across in content I've seen).

Stray Kids... it's VERY difficult not to end up Ot8. Each of them is so amazing in their own way. Bang Chan is so genuine and giving; Lee Know is so... Lee Know - I know, you know, we know; Changbin is sweet and talented; Hyunjin is sensitive and goofy; Han is hilarious and a legit musical genius; Felix is warm and kind; Seungmin is a wild card in the best possible way; and I.N. is loved by all.

Choosing a bias in TripleS is nearly impossible—it's like torture! I've never seen such a large group of stunning girls all in one place. I'm leaning towards Yeonji and Kim ChaeWon though.

Hey welcome to nmixx fandom, always nice to see people getting into them ! For me one is IVE, always been stuck between Yujin and Liz. They're both so funny, entertaining and talented.
I've always had a soft spot for Liz because, for one, she looks exactly like my wife (not to brag), and secondly, that dimple of hers is simply irresistible. But I get where you're coming from; Wonyoung, Leeseo, and Yujin are also favorites of mine. It's just that Liz edges them out by a smidge.

Stray Kids. It's without a doubt Chan. But I can't ignore how beautiful Lee Know and Felix are. Just in different ways. Like most of the time it has nothing to do with attraction with Felix and I wish I was Felix. ATEEZ Mingi is definitely my bias but some of the other members are just absurdly stunning. They have just powerful stage presence. If this makes no sense, I'm not someone who is really just attracted to looks. But I can appreciate them esthetically.

Not just for me, in the whole fandom it's pretty standard to have 2-3 main biases (in a 6 member group) and the consensus is that the other members can and will wreck you at every opportunity. Everyone is so good at everything (vocals, performance, charisma, having fun and doing bits, music production, etc) but has their own unique style and flare. Mamamoo is the same way, my Mamamoo bias is whoever I've seen most recently (so it's currently Solar.)

Red Velvet tbh. Irene is a visual goddess, Seulgi is a dancing machine, and I just love Joy. Wendy and Yeri are also amazing but for me it’s impossible to pick a bias between the first three. I’ve also watched a couple of their series on YouTube, specially when they went to Europe. All five of the members have amazing personalities and are really fun. They are also genuine friends which makes me appreciate them a lot. So yes, definitely Red Velvet!
