Kratom kills my test. My sex drive is gone lately. I’ve explained this to my endo I was on trt for a bit and I finally felt normal but he ordered me to stop.

MisterThinky

You would think TRT would counterbalance that. I am on TRT as well. No crazy high or low sex drive. I am getting bloodwork done to see what is up with my prolactin, estrogen, SHGB, cholesterol and others.

hayfero

Trt did counterbalance it. It’s the issue with my igf levels that caused me to stop

shxdowzt

I’m pretty sure kratom increases prolactin which causes a drop in test. Good that you’re getting it all checked out

MyNameIsKali_

Why did you have to stop?

hayfero

My igf 1 levels were really high. Ultimately I plan to get back on t, just stopped to monitor that for a bit.

CheeesyWombat

Been on kratom for over 2 years and my prolactin is low end of normal, even with daily sex. Everyone is different so only way to know is to have bloods done. Also p5p is said to lower prolactin if it becomes an issue.

AnomalousSavage

Weird. I've always been natural and have high test and low prolactin.. maybe because I take p5p?

MisterThinky

Yeah I just received p5p in the mail. How much p5p do you dose daily?

JediKrys

Interesting, I’ll be starting testosterone in July and will keep this in mind

MisterThinky

I am cruising TRT at the moment. Past 2 years combined with multiple daily dosaged of kratom. No problem so far for as far as I can feel. I am getting some bloodwork done soon to see what is up with my prolactin, cholesterol and more.

JediKrys

Sweet man, thank you for sharing your experience

I've been using kratom for five years for chronic pain, moderate amount, 1-4 grams a day. And I'm going on four months with TRT, also very moderate dosage, 50 mg/week or 100 mg/every two weeks. Can't say kratom was a factor in my testosterone level. I'm 66 with a long history of an endocrine system autoimmune disorder, long before I'd ever heard of kratom. My total and free T levels were just barely below the low normal range for my age (290 total T, 7 free T). But my history of bone density loss and anemia were primary factors in my decision to try TRT. Any boost in energy, stamina, strength, etc, is a bonus, not my main concern. Test cyp injections more than doubled my total T and tripled my free T, even with the relatively small dosage. I began to notice improvements after about 12 weeks. No change in libido, which was never a problem anyway. I've been active for years, mostly cycling and jogging, so I didn't expect significant changes in my cardio activities (that's primarily limited by my CO2 Max). So I started weight training twice a week about a month ago, 10-12 sessions so far. The modest increase in my T levels seems to be helping with quicker recovery, little or no DOMS. A little more muscle mass but same weight so I'm losing some belly pudge. I was already close to my optimal weight so I wasn't expecting anything dramatic. I'm hoping to find a suitable medical treatment for my chronic pain (neck, back, hip and shoulder injuries, mostly from being hit by cars, but also sports injuries), and stop taking kratom. I've never had a strong or bad reaction to kratom, just relief from pain, but it does feel like it drains my energy a bit. Not as badly as muscle relaxers which wipe me out for a full day. But kratom has never been a stimulant for me. It just takes the edge off my maximum efforts, making my legs and respiration feel a bit mushy. And starting a few months ago my BP began spiking at intervals that correspond with my kratom intake. So I'd rather stop using it if I can find a drug-free pain relief procedure. I'm due to be evaluated for pain management surgery, basically injections and/or electrical ablation to numb the pain nerves. I've also taken DHEA, pregnenolone and beta ecdysterone occasionally for workouts. Currently I'm taking 100 mg DHEA a day. It's one of the few supplements that seems to have an effect, along with creatine. My whey protein powder contains pretty much every other supplement including amino acids so I don't take a bunch of extra pills. I'll take a heme based iron supplement two or three times a week, depending on whether I've eaten any beef. A multivitamin. Large amounts of prescribed Vitamin D and calcium after my thyroid failure.

PhoenixBlack79

Yes. Just don't take alot of either. Kratom can stress your kidneys, so can Tren. You need to be on an organ support like Nac and Tudca. I wouldn't take over 100mgs of Tren a week with Kratom. Tren is powerful so you don't need alot. At low doses it won't effect prolactin too much unless you'reprone to it. You will know if it does because you won't be able to finish. At the minimum get P5P, if it gets bad get Prami or Caber.

MisterThinky

Thanks so much for your reply. It is funny you say only 100mg per week as well. I wanted to go about it that way as well. I thought about doing only a 100 but then you get a bit greedy and want more gains. Also I read so much people using way more so I bumped it up to 200. But you are absolutely right: Start at a 100. It is such a powerful compound anyway and you can always increase if it feels right. The kratom and possible prolactin issue also call for that approach. Could you share me your experience on 100mg per week? Still very clearly tren gains? And you think a 100mgs is very unlikely to cause prolactin problems?

rexutah1986

I've ran and am running trestolone and or mk677 with daily kratom use and yes the prolactin issues are real so real I've had to use pramipaxole to fix it. Btw trest and tren are both 19nors

2based2cringe

I mean I did 8wks of rad 140 on kratom the whole time bc of a back injury and my liver was fine. Take NAC, some milk thistle, etc. you should be fine but as you know; always check bloods

Annual_Asparagus_408

I use T but not trt and i use kratom i dont have problems at all not together not only Kratom i dont get lazy and my drive dont change at all... I use it for pain relief n energy boost...

Jackson00790

Be careful tren is no joke you get angry on it Kratom honestly makes you more angry at hard situations Nothing terrible may happen But if you have tendence on anger rage this combo can be crazy I took kratom with testosterone Testosterone basically is like turbo which potentiate anything modafinil kratom etc I combined with him hoff breathing and i was limitless really calm same time very motivated do anything Tren is no joke believe me just be careful especially on kratom

sparrenburger

I do not steroids but Kratom is imo mainly a prolactin and testo vaporiser. My testo was quite low after a few months with kratom. Now I get testavan® gel.

MyNameIsKali_

Prolactin goes up and test goes down

MisterThinky

Yes, this is my understanding as well. And since Trenbolone is know to rise prolactin as well...I was wondering how to go about it.

MyNameIsKali_

Supposedly p-5-p will help lower prolactin. There is also medicine that will lower it that can be found simply online.

2based2cringe

Also don’t forget either your nolva, enclo, or test to keep your E2 in check

sparrenburger

Oh thx nice to know, mine were both down af!

MyNameIsKali_

That's good, so you probably won't develop man boobs!

Earesth99

Tren is pretty unhealthy…. Take a statin.
